What is IN a Hieropice terrarium ornament?… Many varieties of moss (Fork, Spanish, Reindeer, etc.), lichen (greenshield, beard, Witch’s Hair, etc.), branches, bark, seeds and pods, pinecones, and sometimes, mushrooms! Most of these come from my local foraging outings, & are meticulously preserved post-trip. I’m currently working on different preservation techniques (the Turkey Tail mushrooms included in ornament 2 are the result!).
