I've been gone for almost a month... But here I am! I have some exams on my mind and I didn't have the energy to post anything. But... I have a lot of ideas for the next posts, so I'll try my best to post more often.
(I completely forgot to mark the option to ask me questions as open and I only recently realized it lmao)
Today I come with ideas who Sephiroth, Genesis and Angeal would choose as their partners because of their character and what their relationship could look like. (Crisis core)
SEPHIROTH
Someone who is stable, confident but also very patient. Because Sephiroth is not a very open person to feelings, and even if he does, he has trouble expressing them. So I doubt that someone who craves attention, emotions, and deep confessions would be completely out of character for him.
His style of expressing feelings would be simple, glances, slight smiles but also maintaining distance, sometimes he simply prefers to withdraw rather than give vent to emotions. For this reason, he would be suited to a person who is similar to himself, but who will show him that there is nothing wrong with emotions, sometimes even negative ones. Who will sometimes take the initiative, but will not take away the control he is accustomed to and will not expose him to something completely new and uncertain.
☆ Relationship ☆
I think that the relationship with Sephiroth would definitely be very long-lasting (if we don't take into account the Nibelheim incident lol)He certainly wouldn't enter into a relationship without being sure it was real and had potential.
He might not have much time, he's a Shinra star after all, but he'd definitely spoil his partner. The games you like, the food, the books, the albums, whatever they love—it's already theirs. Like I said, he may not be very emotional, but small gestures are his love language. Surely after some time he would get used to some small caresses, but it would probably take a few months (I said you have to be patient) - cuddles, lying down together and watching movies, or even holding hands. What's more, he believes there's no need to rush things.
He is honest about problems and believes that resolving them as quickly as possible for the good of both parties is better than pretending that the problem does not exist. That's why I expect the same: honesty and willingness to compromise.
He is not the jealous type, but he also needs reassurance from time to time that he is great for who he is, not for what he is.
GENESIS
Here, I think Genesis would be very flexible in his choice. I think it would simply depend on who caught his eye. Perhaps a quiet dreamer or a bold person who intimidated him. But he would definitely like someone to listen to him and ask him about everything related to him. Especially about his eternal love – Loveless. He wanted someone who would focus all their attention on him, idolize him in some way.

This guy won't wait, he will even believe that you are meant for each other. He will immediately be confident in what he does and what he wants.
He would certainly be very open about his emotions and would treat his partner like some kind of God. Poems, gifts, and words of affirmation would be his language. Such an unbridled romantic. He would like every moment to be magical, even the simplest of watching movies together at home. And he would expect gratitude, words of praise and perhaps... Very, very visible devotion. But! I think he could also be very toxic in a relationship. They put a lot of pressure on the other side and he wanted to know everything; what they did, what they ate, whether they talked to anyone and what about. He would check their friends to see if they were a threat to his "authority". He is also very fragile in his self-confidence. The slightest thing that challenges his point of view is inappropriate. He would like the other side to understand him and his point of view and not try to change him. He can only "change" when he truly feels his partner might leave him or push him away. He wants everything to be perfect and dreamlike. But life isn't like that.
ANGEAL
Angeal would like someone he can take care of, this guy definitely has some issues, but is that a bad thing? He wants to give all the love he has and would like someone with whom he can build a stable future. He wants to feel needed.
He would meet someone and give them attention, words of support and his advice. He would definitely make some little gifts and would definitely cook something especially for them to show them he cared. He would like someone who is not indifferent, who wants to spend time with him and takes his opinion into account. Someone who wants peace.
☆ Relationship ☆
He will be open about the fact that he likes them, but he will also know and say it loudly that there is no need to rush. His words are assurances and he will make sure several hundred times that the person feels safe being with him and wants to be a support for them.
Once you're in a relationship, gods, you get everything you dream of. The food you like will learn new recipes especially for you. Gifts - he would probably make them himself. He would try to create the best possible home atmosphere by behaving like a housewife whenever he could.
He's not very jealous, but if he felt threatened, he would definitely talk about it honestly. What about conflicts, if he didn't like something, he would just overlook it, but if it was something serious, he would make coffee or tea and talk about it calmly.

And here I'm torn between two perspectives, because on the one hand I would see him with the person he works with and he established a very strong bond and devoted a lot of time to it. Without haste and unnecessary melancholy or dwelling on it, if he wants something - he must be sure of his feelings, the feelings of the other person and he will already have a specific plan of action.
On the other hand, I have the impression that he would not like to combine his work with his private life and would prefer someone from a different circle, completely devoid of any connection with Shinra. Someone who could be at least the one element in his life that separates him from the Company and gives him peace. Maybe someone met or works at the bar he goes to with Rude and Reno. Something like that (?)

And here, it seems to me that guy would be completely inert to his partner's background, whether they met at work or somewhere else. It doesn't matter to him.
Working together? Great, we'll be clingy during our breaks from work.
Don't work together? I'll try to spend every free moment with you. — That's how I see it.
He just can focus on work even when the object of his interest is sitting next to him or is far away.
He is not suspicious, but he is not oversensitive either. They rather approached someone as if they were a child, gently but also with caution.

And here, just like with Tseng, I have very mixed feelings. I think Rude would be interested in a co-worker but wouldn't try to develop that relationship. He would simply be there, protect and support them. And he aslo afraid that if he allowed himself to have a closer relationship at work, what if something happened to his partner? He wouldn't be able to handle it.
As for people he liked but wouldn't work with, he would probably give some small signals. He would start going shopping more often to the store where they work, to the cafe, and so on. He would probably leave a paper with his number somewhere.
Elena
This girl definitely wouldn't flirt with a co-worker (at least not unless they showed interest first). She's new and all she focuses on is work and reports.
I also wouldn't count on her being interested in random person or someone from bar. She'd probably think this person was trying to take advantage of her and get some information from her. After all, she's Turk!
I literally see her as a diva. (Not in a bad way, I love her, but she just values herself well.)
Rufus
I don't see any other option than someone he works with or someone who has been working for him since he was vice president or even before. This man is too distrustful to meet people outside his already trusted circle. He would immediately be suspicious and would certainly not want to start unnecessary conversations with someone random. Perhaps one of the Turks, a secretary, or an accountant. A man simply must always be in control, or he'll go crazy.
