every homeless trans man i ever worked w had simultaneous access to resources for both men and women and every homeless trans woman i ever worked w had been denied access to both and turned to sex work as an alternative to community resources and services. many of those in the former group were doing sex work and not being penalized where those in the latter might have had years between them and their last clients but were still denied services incl. housing, advocacy, BH, MAT, showers and laundry because a single tme person clocked they had been a SWer at some point in their lives and concluded they still were. unlike the middle class tboys on this site my homeless transmasc clients understood the disparity in these conditions and would often ask me to complete intakes/followup appts/resource navigation with their sisters first as it was more urgent to do so. what excuse do y'all have for playing the eternal victim?
