When you hold me in the streets, and you kiss me on the dance floor
You are at the “Hit the Road” victory party but you managed to surface yourself from people cause knowing yourself you don’t want attention. You were there because people know that you are a good friend of everyone especially Joseph, but you both know that there is something more intimate than a friendship going on between the both of you.
You started to get bored and the spotlight is on Joe and Caspar, and so you left the room wore your coat and wander on the streets without you knowing where to go, the cold breeze hit you so you hugged yourself while you appreciate the peaceful town you are in until someone shouted your name and you know very well where that voice came from, Joseph.
You turned around and you saw him running towards you.
“Why did you leave?” Joe said.
“There was nothing much to do in there Joe you better go back people will look after you”
“But I am enjoying myself in there because of you. Because I was watching you” and he smiled.
He held your hand and kissed you under the moonlight.

You woke up inside your bedroom and you realized that everything was a dream. A dream that will never come true, that you and Joe will forever have your relationship as a secret, that you and Joe will keep your relationship without the knowing of anyone even his own sister. If ever someone would catch you together they will totally understand because you, you are his bestfriend never known as his girl.
Joe said that it will be perfect this way without the attention and without anyone knowing so that it will not be leaked from one person to another as he said “rumors spreads like wildfire”. He said that he is so proud of you and if he could he wants to shout it to the world but he wants to spare you the pain that will come because you cannot impress anyone there will always be people who will hurt you as if they know you, people who acts as if they own Joe, people who doesn’t believe that you are perfect for each other. And there is nothing more left for you to do but to understand his decision, you love him and he loves you that is all that matters.

As tears streamed down your face, your phone vibrated from your bedside table. It was Joe he texted you asking if he could be in yours tonight to celebrate, it has been a year now when you both started dating. It was always like this, always celebrating in either your apartment or his apartment never outdoors, never in a fancy restaurant, never on a picnic, you keep your relationship away from the eye of the public. You answered him “sure” and he replied saying “ iloveyou see you later love” but you just ignored it. You started getting ready for the day took snaps and checked Joe’s email for you are not just his bestfriend, the public also sees you as his personal assistant. Time flew quickly and before you knew it your doorbell rang and it was none other than Joseph, you remembered what you’ve been thinking of all day as soon as you saw his face behind the door. You opened it up and he gave you a very beautiful bouquet of flowers, you let him in and closed the door behind you. He hugged you tight and gave you a quick peck on your lips.
“I missed you so much, happy first anniversary of dating love” joe said
“yah to you too joseph”
“is there any problem y/n?”
“none”
“uhm alright then, I ordered a delivery it’s coming in fifteen”
You sat down at the sofa and he followed you he turned the tv on, you looked at him and you realized that you’re tired, you’re tired of understanding this guy beside you.
Stolen moments that we steal as the curtain falls, it will never be enough
As you were staring at him memories have been flashing to your mind, that moment when you came with him at playlist, those times you get when Joe has already finished his meet up, after every fan kissed him and hugged me and told him he was amazing, it is always so nice to see that you will be the one he will be coming home to, as every fan kissed him, for you he will be the one kissing, and praising you on how your makeup still looks on fleek. Those times he can’t help but kiss you when no one is looking. But is it really that you’re happy about? Wouldn’t it be amazing if you were out like zalfie is? Even is someone is looking you can be cuddling and/or kissing each other.
It’s obvious you’re meant for me, every piece of you it just fits perfectly.
Those times when you were still friends, how you’ve managed to eat almost the same thing, recognize both humors, and you both know how to make one feel better. Back then you were always teased that you both are the perfect match but now that you really are together you think to yourself that maybe just maybe that you were a perfect match that is why you burned out. Would you survive without him is losing him worth the risk, would you be happy?
Every second, every thought I’m in so deep but I’ll never show it on my face
You felt as if you’ve been daydreaming all day about all the memories you had with Joe, thinking so much of what to do in your life, what to do with this relationship with Joe. You have been woken up from your deep thoughts when the doorbell rang it was the delivery Joe ordered.
“I’ll get it, I’ll be preparing it too. I’ll just call you when it’s ready.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yas sure”
You received the delivery and started putting it on plates in your kitchen, you were still thinking deeply of what to do whilst your cutting the sticky tape from the packaging of the food, you have dropped the scissors because you have cut yourself. Joe came rushing and started treating your cut, he was asking you what happened if you really are okay. And you answered him yes after he finished you invited him to eat already.
But we know this we got a love that is hopeless
Whilst you were eating, you decided maybe it is time to talk about it. Talk about what you feel. Talk about something that has been bothering you for a while now. And just face the truth of whatever might happen.
“Joseph, I’m tired”
Why can’t you hold me in the street?
“What do you mean” Joe asked.
“I’m tired of us hiding, tired of the same thing, tired of being seen as your best friend, your personal assistant and never you girlfriend that I am”

You don’t know the pain I have been feeling when you are shipped with somebody else when you are set upped on a blind date because your friends think that you are single. He hugged you before he leaved and you felt that your shirt got wet because of Joe’s. When he finally closed the door behind him that is when you started crying.
