On Organic!Kinito, is he pretty much touch-starved in your AU?

Kin-kin's personal response:

The creators response:

Yes, he is.

Before he came to our real world, Kin-Kin didn't really know how it feels to be hugged/touched/kissed, but he was obsessed with the idea, from what he saw on the internet. Because of that, he was actively grooming the user to be separated from their loved ones, so when he finally figures out how to "become organic", the user will accept him no matter what, because of their desperate loneliness.

He loves to be int the lore of "The savior"

how would he react to a user who was keen on his tactics and managed to reject his charms?

Kinito's response:

"keep pushing me and you'll find out"

Creators response:

If he notices that you're aware of his tactics but don't do anything about it, he will play into it even more.

On the other hand, if you do something about it, he will make sure you know that he's upset. Mostly in an indirect way (like using the silent treatment), but if he loses his temper, he can get physical. And he's easy to pop a bubble.

Imma guess that Organic!Kinito was neglected throughout his life in your AU, is that correct?

First of all chill mr psychologist

Short answer: correct

Long answer:

My AU is (as the name says) mainly focuses on the in-real-world experience of Kinito, but he has a in-computer-world experience too from the past.

If you look at the main game and you think about it, being a desktop assistant is not really a rewarding job. You can only interact with the user when they are at the computer. For the rest of the time, you are alone.

"What if the user switches to a new computer? What if you are not usefull enough and they delete you?"

"You can try harder, as much as you want but you never be a real friend, just a desktop buddy."

These are the toughts I would have, if I were in Kinitos situation. Being in constant fear of abandonment...

So Kinito doesn't need to be in my AU to be neglected. Poor fella (⁠ ⁠⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⁠⌢⁠⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀⁠)

Little fun fact:

Hikinito's first au name was organic!kinito.

Also, being stressed about this is one of the main reasons why Kinito decided to materialize in this world. I mean, you can't just turn him off and walk away when he is physically in front of your face. He will make sure he won't be neglected by you.

Tired

Kinito was a virtual being so it is natural that he has some problems with rest ever since he began to live. The concept is reasonable, the body has to recharge, but you were just starting to play a fun game! He can't go to sleep now!

Situation update:

So my initial plan was to make this silly little idea my finals project, but the plans had changed. My mentor told me this was too self absorbed of an idea to make a serious comic out of. Sad :-(

But the good news is, this way i don't have to make a full fetched story out of it. My biggest problem with this project (besides redrawing pages) were that my story wasn't strong enough. It was rather mid. But this way i can go full self indulgance with almost no story at all. I can relaaaaax hehehe.

I was thinking what if i do a "living with Kinito" type little blog. I know that there is a river full of this kind of content from other fanbases but i really want to try it. Of course, Kinito would still be a shut in weirdo, don't worry.
