13 reasons why

I love the fact everyone who's watched 13 reasons why is suddenly putting up these posts like "words hurt" or "when will people notice others suffering" blah blah blah. The thing is, things like this have been around for ages and when something happens irl no one cares about it or no one bothers enough to actually ask someone if they're okay or give them any kind of support. It's sickening how many people suddenly act like what people did is horrible, yet when someone near them is suffering they don't say or do anything about it. No one is perfect, everyone's done or said something in the past that was plain cruel or triggering to someone yet here's everyone acting all big. On average, one person in the world commits suicide every 16.2 minutes, yet people only start caring when a Netflix show comes out? Wake up and start noticing things around you instead of just expressing how horrible it is. Maybe now people will actually start changing as people instead of just saying they will do so.
