Greetings Readers!

We hope everybody's holiday season has been a great one! Antonio and I had a great time in NYC bringing in the new year. However, its back to business. His & Her Sink would like to give you guys an update on our absence for the past few weeks. As you may already know, LIM College awaits a particular NC girl in approximately 2 weeks! Which explains the tumbleweeds on the blog. Things have been pretty hectic with packing, filling out forms, arranging housing, and more boring school stuff. So guess what, yet ANOTHER move in day. January 23rd is the estimated day of arrival, so just bare with us! Believe we have some VERY exciting posts coming up in the next few months. Including new artists, events, great styling tips, and more hoodchic moments! Singin' in the Rain is a 1952 American musical comedy film starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds and directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen, with Kelly also providing the choreography. His&Her are very pleased to announce a big change happening in the next month and through out the year 2013. HER just recently got accepted into LIM College in Manhattan as a Fashion/Visual Merchandising major! This is something that we've been working hard to keep a secret, and after 4 months of waiting, HER finally got her letter, so it's official! What does this mean for His&HerSink? More appearances, more city life, and more events to hip you guys to! We are very excited and we look forward to this transition and we hope you all will enjoy as well. Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. The film tells the story of Chihiro Ogino, a sullen ten-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighborhood, enters an alternate reality inhabited by spirits and monsters. After her parents are transformed into pigs by the witch Yubaba, Chihiro takes a job working in Yubaba's bathhouse to find a way to free herself and her parents and escape to the human world.

Pixar director John Lasseter, a fan of Miyazaki, was approached by Walt Disney Pictures to supervise an English-language translation for the film's North American release. Soon, several others began to join the project: Beauty and the Beast co-director Kirk Wise and Aladdin producer Donald W. Ernst joined Lasseter as director and producer of Spirited Away respectively.

So if you're in to anime or animated movies (even if you're not) this movie is a must see. It caused a HUGE uproar, grossing about $274 million worldwide, it even beat Titanic! One of HER favorite Japanese/animated movies of all time, Spirited Away is a very appealing fantasy film for all ages. Must see. Find it here.
