I’m Leo! 🌸 I’m a long time crafter/artist from Northern California, and love finding beauty in the small things in life. I’ve recently started focusing on loving the clothing I have, being mindful about prolonging the life of my favorite pieces, and passing on this mindset to my kiddo. That’s why I’ve gotten into mending, altering, and knitting 🪡🧵

In my spare time, I love being outdoors, hiking the plethora of trails in my area, hunting through thrift shops, and reading my infinite TBR pile ✌🏻

I love the idea that fabric can keep changing shape throughout their lives. This dress began as thrifted sheets and vintage tea towels 🪡🍃

I went to a flea market today and rescued a few soft things waiting for a new life. The shirts were worn in the best way, and the cat on the white sweatshirt was hand embroidered. I can already see all the ways I’ll mend them 🍄🍃🪡

Two years ago I watched one video on tablet weaving, and the craft stayed inside my mind since, festering until I couldn't handle it anymore. I had to weave!!

My best friend VERY kindly made my simple loom design come to life, and well... you will now find me beneath my funky orange blanket weaving until my hands are red raw and my back screams in agony.

This is my second go at weaving, and I refuse to be convinced otherwise that weaving is in my blood because how is it going so well? What magic has imbued my fingers to create such consistent work? Whatever it is, I am proud of my new belt I'm making!

I used yarn and colours cotton 4 ply yarn in khaki and ecru, off-white cotton warp thread, and followed the four hole pine pattern on twistedthreads!
