Iâm actually working on a rules post now, so sorry that you were confused on this!
I donât write for Scaramouche, La Signora, Dottore, Yaoyao, Yanfei, Eula, Rosaria, Lisa, and Jean! I also donât do nsfw since Iâm bad and writing it and not comfy with writing it! I also donât write for poly since Iâm not sure how to write that one, nor do I do character x character.
Other than that, that should be majority of my rules, the official rules post will most likely be out soon!
Genshin Team Sleeping Trend, but I write about it instead.
So Iâm back from a long time of no writing at all, and thereâs no real reason for my absence besides me burning out. I stopped playing Genshin for a while and didnât really keep in touch with any content for it either. Donât expect this to be really all that accurate with storyline (because I did sorta not pay too much attention during Sumeruâs story, I got tired of how long it was) but itâs taking place after the most recent lantern rite. I canât guarantee Iâll stay consistent with a schedule, so honestly, expect more of me posting at random when Iâm in the mood, lol.

Extra Headcanons:
They're kinda relevant for this, but both Traveler(Aether in this case) and Wanderer don't sleep. Wanderer because he's a puppet, Aether because...well he's not human. That's a headcanon thats lenghty, so i wont explain it here. Okay last thing, Aether doesn't speak in ig...full sentences. He skips words sometimes and breaks up the sentence. I don't think he's fluent in Teyvat's language, hence why Paimon speaks so much.
The 4 entered the SereniteaPot after a long and arduous day of commissions, quests, errands, etc. and removed most of their unnecessary accessories.
Heizou swiftly made his way over to the nearest couch and flopped down face-first, probably almost asleep already. âIm not the only one whoâs completely dead after all of those cases, right?â Heizouâs muffled voice echoed from the pillows on the couch. Albedo smirked at Heizouâs display of exhaustion.
âGuess itâs time to sleep then already? We did eat while we were out, so I suppose we can go right to bed. It is late.â Kazuha turns and questions, hanging his haori(correct me pls if thatâs the wrong thing) up near the door. He places his shoulder guard down on a shelf nearby as well, besides the numerous trinkets Aether has collected on his travels.
âIâm not completely drained butâŠI suppose we can. Aether, youâll be resting tonight, right?â Albedo turns to Aether, who was about to walk right back out of the teapots mansion and probably train outside the whole night. Albedo shoots Aether a disappointed look, expecting him to turn back around immediately and follow them back in, but Aether continues to slowly leave the doorway.
âAether.â
Aether gives Albedo a glance back, almost pleading to not have to âsleepâ. Albedo knows full and well that Aether doesnât really sleep, but has still yet to know exactly why. Either way, seeing him at least lay down for the night would be enough.
ââŠYou know I wonât sleep. No point in laying down.â Aether tries to reason his way out of this, preferring to do something a bit more productive.
âGet back here, and come lay down. Weâll even push the couches together like have you have it set up in your room, if that makes you more comfortable.â Albedo nods towards Kazuha after this, and Kazuha goes to start moving the couch Heizou is on and another couch in the open living room.
Aether sighs, deciding not to fight this one, and comes back into the mansion. He leaves his shoes at the door where everyone elseâs shoes are, and then comes to help Albedo move blankets and pillows in from Aether's room.
"Where would you even be this late in the teapot? I know you have a small forest somewhere on the islands here, but would you really just train there all night?" Albedo inquires, genuinely confused on where Aether would even go this late since the teapot matches Teyvat's time. Aether looks around, putting a few pillows under his arm and rubbing the back of his neck.
He shrugs. "Dunno...maybe find Wanderer. Train with him? Talk with him. He doesn't sleep either." Aether's taken out the braid he usually wears now, his earing, scarf and whatever else being set at the table in his room.
Albedo shakes his head in sighs. Guess he has to talk to this 'Wanderer', who he has still yet to meet despite Aether mentioning him before, and get him to rest as well. They both return to the living room soon after this exchange.
Once everything is moved, the four change into clothing thatâs a bit more comfortable, and slowly begin to lay down one by one. Aether grabs a few books, of course. If heâs going to lay here for hours while the others sleep, he has to be doing SOMETHING. Not lay there contemplating his existence.
Thereâs idle banter for a good thirty minutes or so, chatting about what theyâll do tomorrow, what theyâd want for breakfast, anything really. Heizouâs the first to fall asleep, after he curls himself around Aether in an inescapable death grip to insure he wonât be able to leave in the middle of the night without waking anyone else. Kazuha falls asleep next in the middle of his speech, causing Albedo and Aether to chuckle and joke about it for a few minutes after. Albedo then falls asleep last, after wishing Aether a goodnight and almost saying âSleep wellâ despite knowing he wonât sleep at all.
Aether opens one of the many books heâs read before, in similar situations of the others forcing him to at least lay down with them. He wonât sleep, but itâs nice to have the comfort of people he trusts being beside him in a moment of repose such as this. They canât hear Aether but he speaks anyways.
Taking Genshin requests bc I fell into the fandom again and I need a direction to write in. After I do these 3, I'm gonna write smth for chasm and maybe even some au stuff eventually. since i main aether(and spent $160 on mistsplitter for him.), i tend to have a lot of random headcanons for him that lumine could fit into as well.

Here we are again! More Genshin at long last, but with 3 weeks of school and these last 3 most likely being my most stressful, updates will either be short but posted a bit faster, or long and posted slowly. Still figuring that out but enjoy!
Upon first meeting Xiao, he had no idea what to do with you. Cloud retainer said she found you alone and fighting off hilichurls. You seemed strong enough and held your own, but she had her mind set once she learned you were half-adeptus.
Which now lead to you and Xiao being left together in Wangshu Inn. Left to your own devices. Luckily you were quiet enough around him.
Wow is Xiao confused abt you
He has like, zero idea how to deal with you.
You're really quiet, and just playing with little hydro birds you made. Not really too concerned with Xiao tbh
Like he's there ig
He kinda just had you close by him since he's supposed to be in charge of you, but when he had to fight, he tells you to stay far behind him.
Once he becomes a bit more used to your presence, he'll maybe interact with you more. It's mostly just him asking if you need anything or want to go somewhere specific. That's pretty much it
If he goes out to fight and you come with him, he might pick you up to set you somewhere specific to hide. Mostly does that though when a LOT of enemies will be flooding in, so he needs you out of sight completely.
You've only been injured during stuff like this once. He dodged an arrow, but forgot that with where you were hidden, if that arrow didn't hit another foe, it'd hit you. He whipped his head around when he heard a whimper from you and saw you fall from the tree that he put you in.
Immediate panik
Ran over to you ofc and let go of a breath he didn't realize he was holding when he saw it was just a small slash on your cheek.
You weren't crying or anything, but once he came over that was like the first time you actually reached at him to carry you.
He did and fought everything else while carrying you and was very much so angry about ur tiny little scratch.
Once you were asleep, he went to go fight stuff to blow off steam lol. Small little guy with a lot of rage
After that, he actually puts you EVEN FARTHER away from where he fights. Maybe even leaves you with Hu Tao or Ganyu sometimes.
You warmed up to him more after your little injury, and if he's just standing around Wangshu Inn, you sometimes just ask for him to carry you.
He starts to think it's a little cute. Even Xiao cannot refuse a tiny (Y/N)
"Xiao? What do you have?"
Xiao, holding a smoothie and you. "A smoothie, Goldet."
Goldet eyes (Y/N) "Sure. Only a smoothie."

Diluc x Child!Reader (PLATONIC!), Reader has Pyro Vision, some angst(lies its more than some), fighting, blood warning, and some swearing
After leaving the cave along Albedoâs side, you come to in a small bed. Toys shaped like abyss mages are littered around the room, as well as and actual abyss mage
Now youâre a kid
A not very smart kid considering you almost died once following a seelie
So, you go over to the abyss mage and ask to play, because your little kid mind is focused on playing with the seemingly cute fluffy thing and not on where you might be.
When you tap it, it nearly jumps into the wall. Def regretting offering to watch over you now
It entertains you for a while, until an Abyss Herald walks in, and you drop your toy, hiding behind the abyss mage.
Like bro this thing is 3x your height what is that
The Abyss Herald tries its best to be careful with you and is really trying not to scare you but itâs stupidly hard since itâs so massive.
Eventually it lures you out with toys and brings you to Albedo, in which you are elated to see a familiar face.
He calms you down when you ask a thousand questions on whatâs happening and where you guys are, to which he answers you question of where you guys are with âWe are home.â
Home??
Youâre still super confused bc you thought Mondstadt was home but okay i guess
The entire place looks like itâs ruins that are somewhat maintained, various abyss creatures lurking about and heading places.
Albedo and the Abyss Herald take you to a lab that has another smaller bedroom connected to it, and you learn that this is where Albedo and you will be staying from now on!
The glowing crystals that are stuck to the walls and ceiling catch your eyes as you stare at them, and you attempt to read the weird language written on some of the walls. Overall, it looks basically the same as the Dragonspine lab, just a few minor differences but not enough to make too much of a difference.
You go to the room connected to the lab and see the number of childrenâs toys in the various toy chests in the room, and you feel your little child heart explode as you start to pull out all the toys.
The time you spent there included a lot of playing and training with your vision and natural abilities as a homunculus, which led to you being able to summon animals varying in size and type to come to your aid, as well as being able to set traps made of pyro.
After a few hours of just playing after training and forgetting everything else prior, like the blonde woman, you hear a knock and a familiar voice. âNow, now, it seems like someoneâs having a lot of fun without their uncle, hm?â You turn around to see Kaeya leaning against the doorframe and you immediately run up to hug him.
âLook at how big youâve gotten over the past few months! Someoneâs certainly growing fast.â He jokes, lifting you up into the air while you giggle.
Though, you are confused. âWhy are you here too, Uncle Kaeya? Did you see the blonde lady too?â Kaeyaâs face seems to darken slightly, and he looks a bit upset.
âUncleâs...always been a part of this place. Just so happens that I came here after arguing with your dad over...things.â
âYou argued with Albedo?â
He seems a bit shocked by your words, you think of Albedo as your father now? Well, itâs better than still being attached to someone who left you, he knows that feeling all too well.
âAh...never mind it. Letâs play for a while, alright?â
âYAY!â
Now with Diluc, and this is about a few weeks after you get to the ruins
Dear GOD, the guilt is eating him up inside
Like heâs thinking about you 25/8 and he feels so bad about leaving you, but when heâs upset, he always has the need to isolate himself from the problem. Which in this case was you lol-
After arguing with Kaeya about leaving you like that, heâs re-thinking everything he did. So, he goes back to Dragonspine in hopes of finding Albedo
And boyÂ
He got a surprise when he learned that Sucrose was in charge now after Albedoâs, and your, disappearance.
When she tells him that sheâs the Acting Chief Alchemist, heâs now worried about where you are since he left you in Albedoâs care.
âMaster Diluc...(Y/N) is missing as well...and Jean has also reported that after your argument with Captain Kaeya a few days ago, all traces of him have gone missing as well...â Sucrose reluctantly chirps out.
Dilucâs heart DROPS.
Oh shit
Oh fuck
His friend is missing
His brother is missing
His KID is missing
He turns his ass right back around and runs to search for you 3
Like heâs tearing through anything in his way to find you
And when heâs struggling to get any leads, he goes to someone who seems to know a bit too much about the Abyss
He goes to find Dainsleif for leads, and explains what Albedo told him months ago about possibly having to leave, and you being a homunculus.
Dainsleif goes to find the traveler for help, which Aether immediately comes to their aid when he hears the Abyss is involved, which means his sister might be connected to this.
Diluc goes to get help from Jean and Amber, really anyone who can help
They all go to another cave Dainsleif had been looking into and are greeted with resistance from the Abyss.
Diluc is absolutely RAGING. He wants his kid and brother, and he wants it NOW.
Aether is using the 3 elements he has collected as of now to tear through the Abyssâs forces.
Jean is doing her best to heal the others from any injuries while fighting, and Lisa is close behind guarding her blind spots.
Amber is taking a shot at any moving enemy and is throwing baron bunnies left and right.
Even knights of Favonius have come to save you 3 from what they think is peril
The area youâre in is on full alert, gathering any homunculi and protecting them all in one area. Albedo grabs you and runs to the area being guarded. Kaeya is close behind helping you stand back up whenever you trip and fall.
Youâre panicking and crying as you run, scared since no oneâs explaining whatâs happening. Your knees are bleeding with how many times your fallen onto the rocky ruins flooring, and your hands are scratched from hitting the floor. You look to see another small family of homunculi with a child thatâs crying, and the mother is wounded from what mightâve been a falling rock. The father is armed with a claymore and seems to be a guard.
âPapa!â You call out to Albedo, âWhatâs happening! Why are we running?!â You scream through tears from fear and pain. He looks back for a second, but doesnât answer.
The tunnel shakes from fighting happening where Diluc and the others are, as it seems the fighting is destroying some of the cave systems. Albedo stumbled as multiple people fall into him, and the floor gives out beneath you. Kaeya and Albedo both reach down to grab you, but youâve already gone too far down, you hear them scream for you as you fall into the darkness below.
When you hit the bottom, you know you fell unconscious for a while, the ache in your head says it all. Not to mention the blood thatâs seeping from it and pooled under you.
You get up despite the pain in your body screaming for you not to and wander the darker caves. You can still hear fighting; you can hear the rapid running and screams of people above.Â
You limp and lean against the wall, still crying somewhat as you feel your vision fading, even if you canât see much in the darkness anyways.
You grab the pyro vision that has been attached to your hairpin made of falcon feathers and hold it to your chest, trying to summon anything.
You hear the crackle of fire as a small fox made of fire brushes against your legs, and it reminds you of the one in Dragonspine. It chirps at you, even though it sounds more like distorted fire crackles, trying to light a way for you.
You follow it through the cave, and occasionally stop to catch your breath at a rock to sit on.
â...I want Papa Albedo back...I wanna go home...I donât wanna be scared anymore.â You sit and cry for a while, the fox curling around you.
After sitting and crying for a good few minutes, you hear loud footsteps coming closer and closer. You get up in case you have to run, but then are greeted with an Abyss Lector. It offers a hand to you, which you take quickly to have some sort of an anchor for support while you cry. It carries you off to the other areas of the ruins, and the fighting gets louder.
You hear an Abyss Herald shouting orders to Abyss Mages and Hilichurls, and you also can hear voices such as Diluc and the others. Part of you is excited to see him, but it quickly dies out when you remember how he left you, and now you want nothing to do with him.
When the Abyss Lector entered the room with you in its arms and Diluc caught sight of you, he began to see red once he saw your injuries. â(Y/N)! LET GO OF MY CHILD!â Diluc ignored the other enemies and chased after the Abyss Lector that had you, which Jean quickly scolded him for and chased after Diluc with Aether close behind.
You could hear Diluc screaming at the Abyss Lector, you could hear his calling out to you, but you chose to ignore it. You were still angry at him, and you had every right to be. You felt anger at Diluc build up in you, and you could feel the air around you become hotter. The Abyss Lector took note of this and saw the chance to use it.
It turned and attacked Diluc, Jean and Aether, using the pyro energy you were emitting to combine it with its own electro abilities to create an explosion.Â
Right before it struck, a shield of ice blocked it, and Eula was beside them. âI canât have you lot getting injured now, can I? Letâs get (Y/N) and then get out of here. Albedo and Kaeya have already been located.â Jean and Aether nodded, and Diluc was already prepared to fight.Â
The Abyss Lector looked down towards you, and you glanced up at it. âChild...lend me your strength...â You looked back to Diluc, who looked somewhat sad, and when you returned his sad face with and angry glare and nodded to the Abyss Lector, it only got worse.
You summoned a larger fox made of flames to assist the Abyss Lector, and combined with the Abyss Lectorâs powers, it led to many explosions in the area. Diluc kept asking for you to stop, trying to reason with you, but youâd only scream back in anger.
â(Y/N), please! Just comeback with us!â
âNO!â You screamed with tears in your eyes. âYOU LEFT ME! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING! YOU LEFT ME ALONE AND YOU DIDNâT COME BACK FOR ME!â You kept commanding the fox to attack, and it already left some burns on Jean since it was too large to easily dodge. Dilucâs heart ached at your words, but he understood your anger.
â..I did leave, and Iâm sorry! It wonât happen again, I promise you, (Y/N).â You really want to believe him. You really do, but anger blinds you as you keep attacking even when the Abyss Lector is weakening.
When the Abyss Lector finally went down, Jean, Eula and Aether kept the fox busy while Diluc approached you. You were crying and flailing your arms and legs. You were tired. Beyond tired, your injuries were slowing you down too.
Diluc lifted you while you tried pushing him away, hitting his shoulders to make him drop you. He didnât let go, he held you and kept apologizing for leaving, even if he knew it wasnât enough, it was something.
You stopped hitting him, and just laid in his arms while he tried rocking you to sleep. It calmed you enough to let Jean heal your wounds, and you sniffed here and there while Diluc carried you out the caves.
When you FINALLY got back to the manor, boy were you tired and on your last leg before sleeping.
Like if you stood up you wouldâve just fallen back down and slept on the floor
Diluc was clinging to you and kept apologizing, even after you forgive him kinda
You still feel a little distrustful, scared he might just leave again, but you both are making a start to being close again.
When night falls and he tucks you into bed, you remember a question you havenât asked him in a while
ââŠDiluc..?â
âYes, (Y/N)?â
âHow did you find me..?â
He stops, a bit hesitant. Then, he comes over and sits next to you.
ââŠYou weâre surrounded by dead Abyss Mages and a nearly dead woman. She was being crushed by rocks from a cave in. She mustâve known her time was up. She said she was a researcher, called herself Platinum. She asked if I could take you and raise you in her stead, and if possible, take you to her sister, Gold. Iâm not sure who is Gold woman is, but I donât think I can handle being away from you again.â
âOhâŠokay. Thanks for telling me, dadâŠâ
He stopped, and smiled. âOf course, (Y/N).â

Okay so another update on how Little Fire Plume is going
It wonât be posted until after next week since I have a huge testing week coming up and Iâm super stressed about it, and Iâm gonna take the time to relax this weekend before i continue working on Little Fire Plume
With how itâs been going so far, sometime around next weekend it should be out!

So once you return to the manor, you are super confused on what Albedo meant.
You keep it secret as he requested, but you noticed that Albedo visits much more often, claiming he âMightâve found out why (Y/N)âs âvisionâ is so unstable.â
Eventually he shows you the markings on your back via a sketch
It like a pyro symbol, but there is a golden diamond shape similar to one on Albedoâs neck in the center of it and there are swirls around it.
After testing thingâs out with various things that contain cryo and hydro energy, he noticed that whatever it is, or you yourself, seems to deactivate once coming in contact with cryo or hydro.
Though heâs starting to think that itâs just you that seems to be shutting down once coming in contact with it because you seem so tired after.
Diluc is picking up on the fact that Albedo whisks you away much more frequently after the day he let you play with Diona.
Albedo claims itâs just because of him trying to figure out the constant fire hazard you are, but Diluc just doesnât believe that quite as well.
So once Kaeya starts also coming along with to take you with Albedo, Diluc decided to start following you. Which led to...well.
âKaeya, Albedo. What are you doing with (Y/N)?â Kaeya nearly jumped out of his seat once he heard Diluc creeping up from behind at Albedoâs lab in Dragonspine. Albedo sighed, slowly turning to face Diluc.
You, still being oblivious to the possible seriousness of the situation, had no idea that Diluc was slightly trying to intimidate them both. âPapa! Mr. Albedo was telling me about the pretty design on my back!â And then you slipped that out. Great.
Diluc was beyond confused, but then Albedo nodded towards Kaeya, and they both knew they had to come clean since this was Dilucâs kid.
So here we are
Diluc is trying to be as understanding as possible, but once Albedo explains the whole homunculus thing, he can feel his heart drop
(My personal headcanon is that eventually Albedo will have to be called back to whatever remains of Khaenriâah, and since you are a homunculus, that includes you, dont ask me to explain it here i got it from a friend okay, but maybe in another post i will)
Diluc is beyond upset that heâll have to forfeit you to something you donât even know exists, and neither of you will have a choice.
Youâd leave with Albedo at that time, and thatâd very likely be the last time youâd see Diluc.
In Dilucâs mind, you are his child, by blood or not. Having to give you up seriously breaks his heart because heâs already been with you for years.
Albedo explains to him that theyâd seemingly be on auto-pilot and unable to break out of it.
Diluc looks over at you, and he feels like a few tears might fall there and then.
When you look back at him, you just smile and wave.
He hates this.
He hates that he might, no, that he WILL lose you.
He hates that this is what you have to be, whether you like it or not.
A thought in the back of the Dilucâs mind says to leave you. Turn away from you and just forget you exist to make things easier when you leave him.
But he doesnât want to do that to you, because someone your age wouldnât understand why their father up and left them without a word. (HA he went to get milk)
He decides he needs time for it to sink in, so he asks for Albedo to care for you in that time.
Itâs been about a week since you last talked to your father, and you miss him greatly. You keep asking when you can see him again, and Albedo can only answer with âEventuallyâ
A month later, you start losing hope to see him again, because now you havenât seen him in Mondstadt at all.
And finally at months since youâve seen your father, you give up. Youâre young and canât handle a wait that long. You decide to instead cling to Albedo more often since heâs been taking care if you during the time, and you sometimes slip out calling him âDadâ. He never protests it, and even smiles at you sometimes when you do it.
Though you swear sometimes the mechanical ticking of a clock behind you.
One day, Albedo just stops in the middle of an experiment, and you start to become more and more tired.
And there is a woman with short blonde hair and a tall creature behind her at the entrance to the cave Albedoâs lab is in.
