I'm losing my absolute mind at some of the shit surrounding Pokemon BDSP. So first of all:

The two games are literally the exact same ROM but with a single flag determining the version you're playing

Many people have confirmed this works, they've compared the code for both games and literally that single piece of data is what determines which Pokemon encounters you get, some visual elements, etc. If you buy one, all the data for the other is in there too.

So if you download both games onto your system, congrats, not only did you spend an extra $60 for a game that you technically owned already, but you have your storage clogged by a bunch of redundant data.

Speaking of data!

There's a huge day 1 patch coming that among other stuff patches in the music for the game.

The game was literally so rushed that they didn't have time to implement the actual music for the game before shipping it out.

Here's the placeholder music that you'll hear if you don't update the game before playing it, with godawful MIDI instruments:

This is hilarious and all but it also speaks volumes to the state of this franchise and the immense amount of crunch that the developers for these games are under.

Apparently she tried to call her dad but it was 3am and he was obviously sleeping so she called my husband and he not only came to find her but fished her glasses out of the hood of the car (she’d dropped them while looking inside), drove her to the hospital, and told her to take the day off. She insisted on coming back to work so he used his lunch break to watch TV with her to make sure she didn’t doze off (concussion risk).
