"Hi!" Badgerpaw greeted enthusiastically, padding up to the other apprentice. "Do you wanna hang out, or something?"
"Hello!" Hollypaw responded back to the tom in greeting. The feline fluffed out her long, black pelt. "Sure! Where do you want to go?"

Wrenpaw padded up to Hollypaw tail twitching excitedly, "Can you believe you and I are already apprentices?" Wrenpaw chirped happily, " Training with you is going to be so fun!" she continued to mew, almost bursting with excitement
"Oh, hello!" Hollypaw greeted her cheerfully as the other apprentice approached. "I know, right?" The apprentice bounced on her paws in a lively manner. "It's so exciting! Who is your mentor, by the way?"

Glancing around, trying to find something to do, Hollypaw sat down with her tail lashing and sweeping the ground idly. Her gaze landed on Crookedpaw and, curiously, the black she-cat padded over towards the other. "Hello!" she greeted her, a cheerful tone in her voice. "I'm new here--what is your name, if I may ask?"
Crookedpaw looked up from her nest “hu? I’m Crookedpaw, who are you?” She meows.
"I’m Hollypaw!" the she-cat answered with a cheerful tone. "Crookedpaw? Cool name; it’s nice to meet you!"
"its nice to meet you hollypaw, may I ask who your mentor is?" she meowed
Hollypaw shrugged her shoulders in response to the she-cat. “I honestly have no clue,” she admitted in a genuine manner. “I don’t think I have one yet..? I’m not sure, though.”
"Of course you have a mentor, everyone has a mentor from the moment they become an apprentice, mine WAS dogtooth, until I had the accident." She meowed.
"The accident?" Hollypaw echoed, her voice laced with confusion. "What happened, exactly?"
"Its not exactly something I like to talk about…" She meows while staring at her back right leg
"Oh, I’m sorry," Hollypaw cocked her head to the side, all the while looking at her leg. "Can’t I at least know, though? I’m curious."
"Lets just say that it happened on my first day out of camp" she meowed "word of advice, be carful"
Hollypaw nodded, a small, disappointed frown upon her muzzle because she didn't get to hear the story behind the injury. "Okay," was all she mewed in response.
Mistclaw slowly walked through the camp, unsure of what to do now. Seeing the new apprentice, Mistclaw walked over to her. “Hello. You’re Hollypaw right?”
"Hello!" Hollypaw greeted her with a cheerful wave of her bushy tail. "Yep, that’s me! You’re…?"...
"Mistclaw," Hollypaw echoed her aloud, glancing around for a second before continuing, "That's a cool name!"

Badgerpaw nodded, glancing up at the sky for a moment. "I've heard this leaf-bare might be pretty bad, but that's alright." He flicked his tail. "I'm most worried about the mountains." Badgerpaw's ears flicked back. "I mean, what if the snow covers up a place where an edge is, and you think it's just ground there, but suddenly you fall off the mountain?" He squeaked.
"Oh," Hollypaw’s eyes widened out of fright. "I’d never want that to happen to any cat. It’d be real brutal and terrifying. I wonder if it’s ever happened before…?”
His paused for a moment, standing still for a second in thought, then shook his head, continuing on. “I don’t think so - or hope so.” He meowed. “Let’s keep it that way. I definitely don’t want to be the first!”
Hollypaw let out a purr of amusement. “Neither do I,” she meowed as she continued following alongside the tom. “Even if it has happened, I doubt whoever it was would still be alive.”
The small cat gave a shudder, imagining a helpless cat crashing into the jagged rocks far below. “I don’t think so either.” He shook his head, ears flicked back.
Hollypaw only nodded, staying silent as she continued to walk, idly observing her surroundings. “It’d be pretty cool if someone had survived, though,” she mused aloud after a moment of silence.
"They’d be pretty beat up," Badgerpaw commented, swishing his tail. "But, if they survived it, they’d definitely have a story to tell!" He purred, glancing at Hollypaw.
Hollypaw nodded in agreement, purring in response as well. “Maybe we should ask one of the elders!” she mewed thoughtfully. “They might have some stories to tell, if any.”
"I’m sure they do!" Badgerpaw nodded excitedly. "Some of the senior warriors do too." He purred happily. "I’m sure Ashstar knows some too. Maybe we could get Oakpaw to ask if she has any for us?" he wondered aloud.
"We should!" Hollypaw agreed, her tone of voice showing obvious excitement. Suddenly, though, it grew more serious as she added on, "We should be cautious about it, though. I wouldn’t want to accidentally bring up any bad memories that some cat might not want to remember."
"O-oh." His ears flicked back. He hadn’t considered that element of asking others - he was almost thoughtless at times, recklessly acting of his own accord. "I didn’t think about that." He commented, voice lowering with guilt.
"Maybe we should be wary with who we ask?" Hollypaw suggested, her head cocked to the side in question. "Hmm..who would be a good cat to ask about this?"
Badgerpaw nodded, glancing up at the sky for a moment. "I've heard this leaf-bare might be pretty bad, but that's alright." He flicked his tail. "I'm most worried about the mountains." "Hello!" Hollypaw greeted her with a cheerful wave of her bushy tail. "Yep, that's me! You're...?" Her voice died down and her pelt grew hot with embarrassment quick, just now realizing she hadn't a clue what the she-cat's name was when she probably should have.
