Believe it or not, these boys were my OG ship when I first joined the CR fandom. I wanted to scream when they became canon. I'm still screaming about it, a little.

I think people are more disappointed because they literally stabbed Eddie and shoved him into an elevator because everyone was paired off already and they had nowhere to put him so they put him aside until the end of the episode. Him being stabbed impacted literally nothing in the storyline. No one even knew until it was all over. There was no desperation to save him. Nothing.
