Nothin' special, quick little overnight edit! :) Check it out!
Und da s'Video woni devor gmacht han hehe. Whatever wenner Bock hend luegeds! :) ~N
Mis letschte Video woni gmacht han! Enjoy! :) ~N
Mainstream blabla.
Und doch wüssemer eig garnid genau was de Mainstream überhaupt isch. I meine bedenkt me, dass wenn öppis nid Mainstream isch – also „Hipster“ – und es denn vo allne Hipsters übernoh wird, isches das was vorene nid Mainstream gsi isch, Mainstream und es isch nümme „cool“. Jetzt was passiert mit dem, wo vorene Mainstream gsi isch? Isches nümme Mainstream, will etzt öppis anderes Mainstream isch oder isches immerno Mainstream, will eimal Mainstream immer Mainstream?
Er het gseit, was isch wennmer (theoretisch) ganz allei im Wald ufgwachse während und denn ine Grosstadt cho würed und mier chönnend üs alles kaufe, was mer wennd. Wär no interessant z’gseh, was i ichaufe wür, wäri nid jede Tag demjetzige soziale umfeld usgsetzt woni jetzt bin. I wür sehrwahrschinlich das kaufe, was mier persönlich passt, unabhängig devo was grad „In“ oder was „Hipster“ isch oder was „Mainstream“ isch. Wieso? Will es eigentlich scheissegal isch, was mier für Sache ah hend, willmer die Sache au nur ahleggend, zum üsem soziale umfeld öppis z’zeige. I meine für was sind Kleider da?
Ah isch ja au egal i verlüre mi wiedermal in so komische Gedanke über menschliches Verhalte, wo nieneds hifüerend.
I bin spontan vomene Kolleg gfragt worde obi chume und i bin gange ohni gross nah z’denke. Spöter in de Bar stelli fescht, dassi es Tanktop ahhan. D’Bar isch nid so volle gsi also isches mier scheissegal gsi. Ufeimal chunnt so en Typ daher, woni scho länger kenne, aber nie gross mit ihm was z’tue kha han und er seit : „Eh was willsch du mit dinem Tanktop da eh was hesch z’Gfühl bisch en harte Siech oder was eh?“ Er isch bsoffe gsi und i kennen, i han gwüsst er isch nid uf Konfrontation us und will nur blöd tue, aber glich hets iwas in mier drin usglöst. Es hetmi u huere hässig gmacht, dassme nid eifach miteme Kleidigstuck eis go trinke chan ohni dasme grad iwie inen Topf inegworfe wird, dassme sich ufspiele will, oder dasme Muckis zeige will, dassme zeige will was füren härte Siech meh isch ET CETERA. I has ahgleit, willi wohl drin fühle und nid willi irgendöppertem irgendwas bewiese will.
Okayokay beruuuhige. Und was z’soziale Umfeld ahgaht. Du wirsch sowieso beurteilt und inen Topf inegworfe, egal wie du di ahleisch oder was du ustrahlsch, warum sich also en Kopf drüber mache? Moralapostel Ende. ~N
2013 wird ganz neues Jahr! Oder vielleicht auch nicht..
Mal n'Blog auf Deutsch. Cheers!
Dudes & dudettes, sorry for the downtime. Was busy with school and final paper but should have more time now. More Blogs to come soon! :)
Education and School (Part Numero 1)
Today I wanted to blog about education. Why am I bringing this up? The answer is simple. Because at this stage I really don’t know whether or not the school I am going to at the moment is the right thing for me. To clarify some things: I’m going to a economy focused like high school. I have no idea how this could translate to other countries other than Switzerland. However, as I said this school is all about teaching me economics and stuff that associates with that, like for example accounting, law and all that ‘good’ stuff. Don’t get me wrong I actually find it very interesting to know how our economic system works exactly and knowing the basics about the state and the law but I just can’t picture myself doing this as a job – like for example a lawyer, trustee or banker - for the rest of my entire life. I consider myself as a very creative person. I like music a lot (Trying to learn FL Studio at the moment, so I could probably create some own songs in the future), I love editing videos, I like to write all sorts of things down and I can interest myself in learning a new language all by myself. I do have a YouTube channel, on which I post on - sort of - regularly . I know, the videos on this channel are just some pointless videos about gaming but I still love to do it. It’s doesn’t depend on the footage (gaming videos, vlogs or even a birthday video for my best friend) but on the effort I put into these videos. You know, in almost every other aspect of life I am a damn minimalist. Do everything with the least amount effort I’m good but when it comes to editing together videos however, I become a bloody perfectionist.
In the other hand I despise math and accounting with passion (I’m not particularly good at it too). So, why am I actually in this school when it obviously doesn’t fit my personality and my interests? The answer to this question is also simple. I am an idiot. Well, I was an idiot (I still am but not as often as back then. But I digress) .Two and a half years ago I decided to start this school. Why? Because there was no other particular way I was able to go. Let me explain: After the obligatory nine years of school 70% of the teenagers in Switzerland start an apprenticeship as for example businessman, vendor, bricklayer, banker, accountant or almost every job there is. The other 30% go to a higher school like for example a college and after that to a university. Unfortunately, I was – and still am – a very lazy individual and I didn’t even think of starting to work in a job with 15 years by no means. So I tried the entrance exam for a college. I passed the test, but my grade was only good enough to enter the economy focused school/college but that was not that much of a big deal back then. I had another three chill years of school in front of me right? (See? Minimalism at its best :P). As of now I’m a little mad at me for not choosing an educational way that really fits my talents and potentials. I kind of feels stuck in something that is not going to be that useful for my future. I think it’s important to know the law and our economy but working a boring job as a lawyer or an economist my entire life? Hell no! It’s not that I see it as a waste of time. It’s certainly helpful and I have learned and will learn many useful things in this school. I just feel like I could have done something ‘better’ during these 3 years.
I think the path I will dedicate myself on in the future will be something associated with entertainment. And by entertainment I don’t solely mean making people laugh but also making them think about themselves, and maybe help them. I mean I like to make people laugh and entertain them but I also like to get serious and talk about a topic I really care about. Maybe I could become an actor/comedian/blogger/youtuber? :P Well, the blogger and youtuber part is going pretty well so far.
But seriously, I really have no idea what to do in the future but I know for sure that I need to something that demands from me to be creative. And I need to earn at least some money to live off it and sustain myself. I don’t need to be a millionaire but a some monay would certainly be very much appreciated.. :P
To be continued…

The problem is my enemy and to defeat my enemy I need to KNOW my enemy. How do you want to fight a problem if you don’t even know WHAT exact problem you are fighting?
Neth in his 'Long live Word!' Blog
Long live Word!
Yes you read right. This is going to be a blog about WORD. Special idea, isn’t it?
First of all, I need to clarify some things about me first. Whenever I do feel depressed and/or bored, I like to open word and just write down what is going on in my head. Yeah.. that actually does sound a little crazy, doesn’t it? Judge me how you want, but this is the only way I can really find peace. These ‘manuscripts’, which I have written are never ever going public of course, just because of the fact that, firstly, they are written by me and only for me and therefore it’s none of anyone’s business what I write in these, and secondly, because they don’t make a whole lot of sense to a person who doesn’t know me properly enough. And apart from that most of the time they’re just a battleground of words in chaos, which don’t make any sense to anyone else but me. And sometimes even I can’t decipher these texts when I reread them some weeks later.
However, this act of basically writing everything down that goes on in my head is my way of letting off steam and frustration. Some people go to their best friends and some people just bottle it up inside themselves (which is NOT the way you want to go, believe me!). Going to my best friends and talk about it is also something that I like to do, but sometimes you don’t even fully understand your problem yourself, so how are you supposed to explain your problem to a good friend? And how is he able to listen and comfort you if he/she doesn’t even understand what’s going on? I’m not trying to say that going to a friend and talk about your problems with him is not a good thing because that would be a huge lie. I have some people that I really consider my best friends and I am so thankful that I can count on them any minute and day of the week. But sometimes if I face a crisis in my life, I’d rather try to handle it myself. Of course I let my friends know that I am physically not feeling right at the moment, but often I have a hard time explaining it reasonably to them so they can understand. When you have a big problem in your life, and I am not talking about a problem of short duration like a breakup, but about a problem that really affects you in a long part of your life like, for example, an anxiety disorder, you will find it very difficult to explain it to a friend of yours, so he/she really comprehends 100%.
As I said, I for myself like to just open word and start to write. I try to find a solution for my problem by sort of explaining it to an imaginary person. I think everybody knows that feeling, when you are really upset about something but you can’t really translate your anger or frustration into words, expressions and explanations. Opening word and write about my problem helps to actually get to know it. The problem is my enemy and to defeat my enemy I need to KNOW my enemy. How do you want to fight a problem if you don’t even know WHAT exact problem you are fighting? I think about it and I write down my thoughts and this really helps me to make real sense of my problem.
But you know, in the end everybody needs to fight their own problems in their own way. My way is thinking and writing and I can only recommend it to you. I don’t know whether or not it will help you, but it certainly won’t make things worse and it’s certainly better than bottling it up until you slowly destroy yourself from the inside. I assure you, you will get to know your own self better than ever before. And if you feel embarrassed because you are actually writing ‘to yourself’ for ‘no reason’ or you just think to yourself that you are a horrible writer, remember: No one is ever going to see your written thoughts and emotions anyways and you are free to think and write about anything you want. It doesn't even have to be word. A diary does basically the same job, I just prefer Word. And if you already write down your thoughts and emotions in any way: Well, even better for you! And if not: Give it a try! :) ~N
All religion, my friend, is simply evolved out of fraud, fear, greed, imagination, and poetry.
Edgar Allan Poe (via captainamericashousewife)
Last Blog entry was created in less than 2 hours while my humble self was a tiny bit tired. It's not final and has still has many mistakes in it! I will upload a final and revised version when I have time. Until then, ignore the mistakes and enjoy the reading! :)
Views, Faiths & Beliefs
DISCLAIMER: The following statements about religion only represent MY views and opinions. No insult intended!
I usually like to ask people who wear a cross somewhere, if they believe in god. Mostly they look at me in a very surprised fashion and respond that they’re not actually THAT religious but a cross is just appropriate for some reason. They wear it because their grandmother died or they got it as a present or something similar, but not because they actually believe in god. “It’s just appropriate because my parents taught me so.” many of them also say.
And with more and more people giving me the same answer over and over again I’m just starting to ask myself: “Am I the only one who puts hours into thoughts like ‘religion’?” or “What am I actually supposed to believe in a world where there are countless different faiths and beliefs?” A rational thinking being would probably tell me that I could get done a lot more if I invested all these hours of thinking into something productive. Physically do something that I can benefit from immediately. But I say: Thinking, shaping your mind, following thoughts and make conclusions that include your whole self as a thinking being is the most important thing in your life. You see, something substantial might be nice and good in the moment you get it. But after a while even the greatest and most expensive thing will be boring for you. That’s how we human beings work. A thought or a conclusion you made about your life can change your behavior and your habits. And this is going to change your life, even if it is a tiny bit. However, why am I bringing this up when we’re talking about religion? A belief is not something that is directly implemented into our brains by birth. It is (or at least should be) a result of us, making a conclusion of what we actually DECIDE to believe. You have to decide what you want to believe. Your father, mother or family may want to force you into a belief. But you are the only one that has to live with that belief. It’s your body and your brain after all. Discover the vast personality that is hidden inside you and you will get an answer to every question you have about yourself. I for myself have spent countless of hours, on thinking about my actual belief and trying to find some belief I could possible agree with. I started to look at other people’s beliefs. Maybe I can find some similarities between theirs views and mine?
After a long while I came to the conclusion that the only view I can really associate with is atheism.
Since then I don’t believe in any god.
I’m not trying to convince anybody, but doesn’t it sound a little stupid that, in Christianity for example, there is a bearded man somewhere ‘up there’ looking upon us and is basically playing chess with us? He is a VERY forgiving individual but if you don’t follow his rules and behave ‘right’ you go to hell and burn there until the end of time. Sounds promising right?
But despite all the Irony above, please don’t get me wrong. I don’t have anything against any religion or any member of a religion. You are free to believe whatever you want, and I will respect your views and beliefs as long as you respect mine. If you find comfort and security in a religion, I fully respect that!
However, I don’t believe in a god because there is no proof which can really convince me, that there is such a thing as a 'god'. A bible doesn’t prove a gods existence at all in my opinion. They were written by human beings like you and me, and therefore I just can’t consider that as an actual proof. Humans make mistakes and I think the bible is one of them. I am not saying that everything about bibles is false, it's just that there doubtlessly are a lot of paradoxes in it. You may be 100% sure that God does exist, but as proving it (at least to an atheist) is just simply impossible.
Another reason why I don’t believe in a god is that I don’t like to give away responsibility. But wait, that sounds stupid, doesn’t it? How do you give away responsibility when you believe in a god? Look, if you believe in a god, and ask him to protect you each and every day, you ARE actually giving away responsibility. You lay your fate into the hands of some dude you don’t even know if he really exists. I for my part like to be fully in charge of my life. If I f**k up at something it’s not the fault of a bearded guy in heaven. It’s entirely my fault and it’s entirely up to me how I make it right again. Also, if I achieve something great in my life, it’s not achieved by this 'god'. I did it all by myself.
And let’s be honest: Is it more satisfying if you know that you have achieved something all by yourself or if you only achieved it because you had help from heaven? Think about it!
So, In conclusion I can say: If you wear some religious accessories and don’t really know what they are for, your father, your mother or your family taught you a religion that you are not feeling comfortable with or you just don’t know what to believe, start to THINK, start to INFORM yourself and try to find a view, faith or believe that fits YOU, not anyone else. Don’t just walk through your environment with blinders. Start to ASK questions and try to find answers for them. You will not regret it! :) ~N
