I'm annoyed by the disdainful treatment of the fishboy in the episode 9 by literally everyone. "Darem, you're drunk, go home. Darem, you're a clown and a loser. Darem, you're the reason everyone's going to die." Darem: supports Jay-Den's family ritual, wishes Caleb luck, genuinely worries that Jey-Dan will be upset, is hurt by Caleb's statement that he doesn't need them (friends), and redirects Venari Ral's aggression toward himself so they don't hit the girls. An asshole, in a word 😭

hmmm yeah so i think i like darem/jay-den more because they have a real and deep connection that we've been watching develop on screen, while we don't really get the same with jay-den/kyle. we do have some sweet scenes where we see them bonding over stuff but the development of their relationship mostly happens off screen, and also (i might be wrong here but this is how i remember) we have literally never seen them being together JUST the two of them, with no one else around. not in a real intimate moment or, just, at all tbh. i love them and they're cute af, but because of all this, i can only connect with their connection (lol) on like a surface level or whatever. while darem and jay-den have had multiple scenes where it was Just them, in an intimate moment, bonding over stuff and on a deep level. idk I'm just rambling atp but. does anyone get me

I generally find it weird that on World's Day we spent very little time actually discussing other worlds but alas.

Seeing the way Darem acts face-to-face with Jay-Den as opposed to everybody else and you expect me to believe that he IS NOT PINING?

Darem takes one glance at Jay-Den and immediately finds his lips to stare at, there is ZERO platonic explanation for this.

And the jealousy over Kyle? ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Literally escalates just a little every single time we get all three on screen together.

I was honestly just hopeful for crumbs next episode. Like maybe an awkward goodbye. But no, it seems like we're getting an "Amok Time" homage with the two of them at the center. However, since it's 2026 and not 1967, I think there's a chance that if Jay-Den can save Darem from an unwanted marriage, the episode will end with them kissing and/or professing romantic feelings for each other. Though I highly doubt that Jay-Den saving him will involve a sweaty fight to the death lol.

Also losing my mind over that Starfleet Academy preview, I wasn’t ready to give up my Darem/Jay-Den dreams even after the last episode seemed to be pushing Jay-Den/Kyle more (still holding out hope for the polycule ending, personally 🤞🙏) but now we’re literally getting a whole episode centered around the promised in marriage to another trope? I love this song!!!!!
