“Y/nnnnnn, you really are exaggerating, all the boys on this planet would be grateful to have you, you are an amazing human being who loves more than the love received. So, don’t worry, your single ass won’t be single for too long!!!”

“Awwww, Hyuck, i didn’t know you had it in you, but you amaze me every time.”

“Oh, just shut up already, you ruined the moment like always!!! But tell me what happened to make you so depressed, not that you weren’t like that before.” you could hear the mocking in his voice and that made your blood boil.

“Oh God if you were here even mark wouldn't have saved you!!! But, to answer your question, I tried to confess to that boy I’ve told you about, asked him on a ‘date’, made myself really pretty so that he’ll fall in love with me even more, but GUESS WHAT?!?”

“Pls don’t tell me he rejected you...”

“Even WORSE, he was kissing another girl!!! Could you believe that?!?”

“The AUDACITY!!! Tell me his address and he will get a taste of my fists!!!”

“Hyuck darling, we all know you can’t hurt a fly, even more a human. But I will drop his contact, don’t return with a purple eye though, that’s all I'm gonna say.”

It only took an eye contact, a very close eye contact with probably one of the God’s favourites, to feel that unexpected tingle down your spine and every fibber of your body. He’s eyes could hold all of your world there, shining brighter than the sun itself. Plump lips, so perfect, so kissable, maybe if you could get closer, just a little closer, it wouldn’t hurt anybody right? Just a little closer, just a little- “Yo, Y/n, are you dead?? Already??Y/n?!!”

“Hyuck I think I somehow ended in heaven and saw an angel!!” you whispered, still amazed by the beautiful stranger in front of you. And he laughed, the angel in front of you laughed, and that was the most divine sound you’ve ever heard and the cheesiest thing you probably said to yourself. “Yeah, I understand, you definitely cracked your head open.”

“I am pretty sure that I caught you very well and that your head is intact, but hi there, I am Johnny, your angel.”. you could drop dead right there from this embarrassment, not that you would complain, it might be the best death, in someone’s arms, an angel himself too. “Y/n don’t be shy, answer the gentleman!!! Don’t be stupid, answer him!!!” and that was your cue to end the call and let Hyuck to boil with impatience, this was your moment, the universe gave you a moment.

“You could really say that you made me fall for you,,,,and that was really bad, sorry, I am Y/n.” he laughed again still looking at you, seeming like he was trying to memorize all of you, every sparkle gleaming in your eyes, the smile that never left your face since you first saw him, everything.

“Someone up there must really love me, please pinch me, you are so perfect I must be dreaming.”

“But how was heaven when you left it sir?”

“better off, ‘cause I found you!!! and I know what will be on my wish list this year.” and those orbs started to deeply look in yours, going straight to your heart which was already in his hand. “You won’t ask me what it is?”

“Wouldn’t that be the secret between you and Santa? It won’t become true if it’s said aloud.”

“I am sure Santa won’t be upset if I tell you- your kiss is on my wish list.”

If you’re looking for the personification of the bad boy stereotype, look no further than Lee Donghyuck. His legs were clad in ripped black jeans and on his shoulders always lay his signature black leather jacket. His usually bruised knuckles were adorned with silver rings and the cigarette that hung from his lips all made him look like the typical bad boy out of a cheesy 90s romance film.

It’s hard to explain someone who haven’t loved anyone yet, what love really is. Technically it’s like the addiction to cigarettes, an easy addiction, maybe the weakest of them all, but the one who takes your everything the fastest. Still the relationship is doubled by feeling - everyone loves differently, in another rhythm, just a little or till they get burned.

You loved with all your heart, loved deeper than anything, but as fast you fell in love, the faster was the fall. It was love at first sight, literally, like an invisible string pulled towards him and you won’t ever forget that day. Where time suddenly stopped and everyone was moving in slow motion, just you and Jaehyun making eye contact, in a room full of people but feeling you were the only ones there.

You and Jaehyun were the perfect couple, the inseparable one, where him was part of you and you were part of him. And after 2 years you already had a past together and common memories and marks from him: the phantoms of past bruises (from when he got drunk and became a little too much), salty eyes (from all the harsh words and thoughts that were put in your head by him) and scars on your heart (from every time he broke your heart, but you forgave him anyway, everyone makes mistakes right?). And just like your cigarettes, he was jealous and possessive, keeping you for himself and asking always to prove your loyalty. For Jaehyun, you gave up your own person, the friends that were always there, even before him, the cheerfulness that always was present around you and in return you got some anxiety attacks and the fear of what he would think if you did that.

In these 2 years, to prove your addiction to him, you pulled almost half of million tickets at the lottery of unhappiness combined with the dark part of love. You were stupid, but eventually you woke up. But how to fall out of love? How to escape from an obsession, the mental blockage that directs all your thoughts to one person?

There are three ways: death, boredom, unforgiveness.

Well, death wasn’t really an option, even though you thought about it a couple of times, but it was the easiest way, and you will let him win, mama raised no quitter, you won’t ever let him win. you will come back from the undead just to mock him. Boredom, even if you could, you wouldn’t get easily bored of him. With all his goods and bads, Jaehyun was still an amazing, but maybe not for you, all the raw and mean things surface when the two of you are together. The problem with this method is that it’s missing, you won’t be aware of the break-up and why this didn’t work. The love will remain there, waiting for you, patiently, till your last breath. And if you forget why you broke up, you will fall in his claws all over again.

The most efficient way to fall out of love is and it will always be giving up forgiveness. When you try not to forget them anymore, the magic smoke that protected all the defects will disappear too.

“Jaehyun, let’s break up.” Don’t forgive him anymore for his domineering attitude.

“Y/N no! You can’t do this, I won’t let you do this! Do you hear me?!? I love you!” Stop forgiving him for the addiction he pushed you into.

“Let’s break up Jaehyun because you never loved me, you loved the idea of me, be honest with yourself. And if you ever loved me, let me go now.” Don’t forgive him anymore and you will fall out of love forever.
