can i celebrate two overlapping pagan holidays at the same time or do i have to chose just one?
What does it mean when a deity is calling out to you?? How do you know if they're calling to you??
I figured out how to turn asks on... Exciting
Are there items that are required for an altar?
Is it true that dieties will... ask you for specific offerings? I've seen a few videos about people's "conversations" with their dieties, like where they'll ask for/demand specific offerings and items on their altars. I was just wondering if this is true... and if so, how often does it happen?
When they're talking is it like a regular person's voice, is it just a feeling, or something else?...
I got a candle for Lady Aphrodite today :) It's in a pretty teacup with flowers engraved into it, the candle itself is rose tea cake scented. This is the first candle I've bought for her... I'm so excited... :)
Does being a hellenist make me a witch?
please dont tag my posts as witchy or anything related witchcraft :( what i believe in and practuce is not witchcraft and while i respect witches, i am not one, i am a hellenist and a worshipper or Thanatos and Aphrodite. i am still new to my religion and understand that some witches use it for their practices, but i would appreciate it if my posts were kept seperate from theirs. i am not a witch and my religious practices are not witchcraft, please respect this. thank you :)
this flame is really hanging on, theres no candle left and hes still burning! such a small flame... the wick leaned against the side of the candle holder and its so small it looks like a little creature is looking over the side of the holder :) its like its breathing
its not much for an altar, its just a singular black candle, but im really proud of it so far :)
I just lit my first candle offering for Lord Thanatos, Im so happy right now
I have a sword that says "Venus Goddess" on it, thats covered in jewels, and engravings (mini sculptures?) of Aphrodite on it. Can I put this on my alter of hers or would it be inappropriate?
What does it mean when a deity is calling out to you?? How do you know if they're calling to you??
Do I have to ask the gods if I'm allowed to worship them?
How does "building a relationship with them" work?
Do I have to learn tarot to communicate with them, are there other ways to communicate with them if no, and do I have to talk to/communicate with them (is it similar to having a regular conversation with someone???)?
