meet The Crown Pirates, a ragtag team from all across Kiluto! organized by their determined young captain, Lucia, they each have their own motivations for joining the crew. together they will draw closer and mature through their adventures.

TCP will be a YA action-oriented fantasy series, drawing inspiration from modern animation, video games, and manga. full of satirical tropes, humor, emotion, and pop culture references, you can expect a lighthearted tone and steady pace for the first arc. each protagonist has a world of their own and functioning as a crew brings out both the best and the worst of them. follow along with the quirky cast as they explore Kiluto and get familiar with each other!

AAAAHHH this is a project i have been wanting to share for so so long and i’m overjoyed that its finally at the stage where i can do so!!! 🥹❤️‍🩹 since summer ‘22 my 3 younger siblings and i have been working on a series set on our original planet called kiluto. ofc i was tasked with all the illustration! XD this is just the core cast, PIRATES!!

and yes, we intend to produce some kind of series out of this! it will likely end up being a web comic, but we are still in the early phases of conception so nothing is set in stone. stay tuned for more, i will be consistently posting art, info, and updates! keep in mind this is just a nonprofit passion project and we are just a bunch of teens (+ yours truly). we’re just seeing where this will take us!

I miss when ads were a single click and then they’re gone. Now every ad has a minimum of three phases where you watch a video, exit the still frame of fake gameplay, and then exit the app download. That doesn’t even touch on the ones that forcibly take you to another app after opening a tab in safari without you ever touching the screen.

I hate advertising. I hate that you can’t do anything without companies jumping down your throat with mostly bullshit ads. I hate that billboards exist. I hate that every company unanimously decided to make their ads longer and longer. I hate that ad blockers try to charge you money and there are in app purchases to remove ads. I hate that my attention has become commodified. I hate that there’s nothing I can do about it.
