LGBTQ+ Owned Etsy Shops
For pride month, I think it’s really important to support LGBTQ people who sell pride merch, so I’m making a list from Etsy, since that’s a platform I go on a lot.
First off, I own a shop myself, called the Queer Sphere, and I sell things like pride flag bracelets and pronoun buttons, so if you’re interested, go check that out! As for some of my favorite shops:
Bimblesnoot currently has some queer pride stickers, as well as stickers with cute dragons, which is always a plus.
RuthDoodle has beaded pride flag bracelets, as well as pride-themed fidgets and stims.
Astropuke has pronoun buttons, as well as buttons that say things like “no hetero.” There are also stickers with that slogan.
ThreadyToGo has hand-sewn pride patches and pride flag bracelets.
CatmintStudios has pride buttons, pronoun buttons, and some very cute stickers.
Riotcakes has pride-themed acrylic and enamel pins, buttons, stickers, and patches; they have a lot of items. (My favorite is a notepad that says “queer agenda” at the top.)
Go check some of these places out! It’s always good to support small businesses, especially during pride month :)

I’m definitely supporting this! 💕 Being black entrepreneur is not easy, especially if you lost your loved ones. Stay strong, sis!

ZENDAYA The Hollywood Reporter (Sep 2019)
Colorism is alive and well…I hate it so much. Everyone needs to love their skin and embrace all the colors of humanity.
Being Nigerian, colourism is something that I see everyday. Lighter skinned women are treated differently and regarded as more beautiful than darker women who will pay a ridiculous amount of money for skin bleaching products to emulate being “lightskin.”
I’ve been in stores and seen rows upon rows of skin bleaching creams and it’s disheartening because it sometimes feels like my skin isn’t desireable and society doesn’t want to talk about it.
Colourism is everywhere and anyone who chooses to make ignore that fact is contributing to the problem
I’m a black girl in America with a darker shade, therefore I understand the struggle. I’ve been told to bleach my skin, that I’d be prettier if I was lighter, that I would attract guys if I was lighter.
I used to be very insecure about the color of my skin due to these ignorant comments. And, when I looked for help and comfort from my mother, it was hard to accept it, being that she is light in complexion, light to the point where she looks biracial. Light with green eyes and naturally red hair, whereas she birthed a child with dark skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. She’d never understand.
Colorism is alive and well. It’s unacceptable. We, not even just black people, those of all nationalities, ethnities, and backgrounds who are deeper in complexion, do not deserve this discrimination and lack of love.
Don’t ignore such an ignorant thing. We hurt because of this.

“Impeachment is divisive, it could destroy the country!”
Also, people who say “it’s divisive” are living in a fucking bubble. America was NEVER a economic & racially harmonious utopia. Everrr.
Anyone who honestly believes that has intentionally been keeping their eyes closed, and covering their ears.
America has been divided.
The majority of the country wants impeachment anyways
146 years ago today Susan B. Anthony was arrested for attempting to vote. She died before she was able to cast her ballot legally.
Don’t disrespect her memory on November 8th.
146 years ago susan b anthony wouldn’t let ida b wells and other black sufagettes march with her unless she went at the back because she valued racist southern women’s opinions over genuinely amazing suffragettes who risked their lives when they could be arrested WITH NO CAUSE. back then a black woman could be arrested for sex work by talking to a man who was not related to her, black suffragettes who looked at a man the wrong way would be arrested.
disrespect the memory of susan b anthony, she fucking sucks.
Unlike Susan B Anthony, Ida B Wells did not die before female suffrage was passed. But she did die 35 years before she could vote as a black person. She had to watch for the last ten years of her life as white women got what she had fought so hard for while she was still denied it.
It will disrespect her legacy of anti-racist and anti-misogynistic campaigning by letting a fascist, racist, woman hater to not only beat the first female candidate for President but worse still undo all the work of America’s first black President.
Honour Ida on November 8th.
I love the turn out of this post.
Every time you reblog this, a white feminism upholder loses their wings.
