I just had a thought regarding a post I saw a bit ago (can't find because I have the blog blocked for reasons that will become apparent very quickly)

The post basically said transandrophobro was a real thing because the discrimination trans men face is different from the kind of discrimination that other minority groups of men face, and that trans men face more biggorty than other groups of male minorities (eg men of color, gay men, disabled men, etc)

This is a bad argument for a miriad of reasons, and is such a white point of view to say "yeah black people have it rough but they got nothing on a spicy white boy such as myself." but then I realized. While there is no term for the racism black men face. There is a word for the intersectionality of anti-black racism and misogyny; misognoir

So. There's an intersectionality between another kind of biggorty and misogyny. And people will ignore it's existance. Because the men. The men of that minority don't face it. So clearly it isn't real. And I just. It's so frustrating because if you think about these arguments for 5 seconds and listen to literally anyone affected by them, you realize just how stupid misandry and transandrophobro and all that other stuff is.

Side note, I don't think I've ever encountered a transmasc person of color who's treated misandry and transandrophobia as real. So am I calling it white nonsense? Yeah pretty much

Transandrophobia was coined by st-dionysus, an indigenous trans man. There are hundreds of trans men of color talking about transandrophobia on this website alone, so either you havent been paying attention or you're ignoring them and dismissing their words while assuming they're white.

Also, Black Misandry has been a concept in Black academic spaces for quite a while now, addressing how anti-black racism intersects with manhood to result in a specific form of racism most commonly experienced by Black men.

And when trans men talk about the fact that their discrimination is different than other minority [cis] men, that's just measurably true, esepcially when you compare the treatment of trans men to cis queer men.

Trans men face forms of oppression that other minority men don't face, such as medical misogyny, certain forms of reproductive violence, and well, transphobia!

Also, very notable how when someone says trans men you assume "spicy white boy". That is racist.

Ok I know this is super old now but I work at a post office and I was curious about the price so I did some digging and I still don’t have a definite answer because THE REASON it says “no shipping services available” is because all shipping services were actually suspended to Guam at the time. As in no packages, parcels, letters, or mail or any kind could be sent to Guam. So not only is it mind boggling that it got sent so far in the wrong direction of its intended destination, but because nothing should have been able to get in to Guam period.

You QUITE LITERALLY could not have sent these cookies to Guam if you tried.
