“Aw, the girls are already fighting about who is going to be the prom queen at my side? Adorable.”
“I don’t know why they’d want to be next to you --I mean, you’re arrogant, and not very handsome.”
Connor sighed as he leaned back in his chair, shaking his head slowly, “I’m sorry, Honi. To bore you, obviously.”
“No, no! You’re not boring me, like, at all.” She flashed him a smile, and nestled the side of her head on his shoulder. “Enlighten me with your knowledge.”
“You’re pretty cute. Now go on, talk to him before I start liking him as well.”
“I’m cute? Come on. No guy in the right mind would date a Kavanagh.”
“I don’t know... He is pretty cute.”
“I’m rambling too loud again, aren’t I?”
“Yeah,” Honi responded, trying to muffle her chuckles with her palm.
Second chance: Honi and Nate.
When he saw her smile he couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows at her in confusion. Every urge told him to help her up and grab her books and just say he was so goddamn sorry, but he couldn’t. That wasn’t him any more. “Why?” His tone was low and grumbled, giving off the impression that he couldn’t care less.
She rolled her bony shoulders in a shrug, a sincere smile expanding across her rose petals. “Because you’re everything to me... You’re my family.” Her eyes met his for a few moments before she turned around and began walking away; she couldn’t take it anymore. He used to be so kind and loving... Now he was everything she feared he’d ever be, or worse.
"… — And my spare blocks got even more boring when they decided to starting limiting the internet usage on the computers in the library."
“Uh, I-- Are you talking to me?”
When the server you need as if your life depended on it completely crashes and your weekend is turned to shit instantly. I swear, my life just keeps getting better and better.
"You can always do something else... Like, go to the beach or something."
Task: One
HEEERE!
OOC:
HEY ELLIE!!!
OOC:
hey!!!
Second chance: Honi and Nate.
In the moment that Honi had pushed him and began jabbing him, Nate instantly grabbed her wrists firmly, but not enough to cause any harm or irritation to her. When she leant against him, Nate hesitated for a few moments. A year ago, he would have embraced the smaller girl and held her close to him telling her everything would be okay, but not anymore. It was moments like that which lead to ultimate disappointment and weakness. A few moments after, he immediately pulled away from her and put some distance between them again. The sight of Honi honestly hurt him — a lot. Especially knowing that he had caused this. “It’s whatever.” Was the only thing he could make out without giving away the guilt he was feeling.
Her eyes widened, and once again she had the urge to hit him. But she didn't, her mother wouldn't approve of it, she would punish her for doing such horrid thing. Smiling like she did when trying to keep hold of herself, she turned around and reached for the books that lied on the ground. "Okay. ." She said flatly, ready to walk away from the snobby male. "It was nice talking to you. . I missed you a lot."
OOC:
Good morning!
Second chance: Honi and Nate.
Stupid. That’s exactly what he was, and there was really no denying it any more. Not academically anyway, just in any other region. “That’s because I didn’t want you to get involved.” He shook his head frustratedly. The sight in front of him made a wave of nausea pass over him. If there was one thing Nate stood for — or well, used to stand for — it was standing up for the weak or defenceless, or just people in general. And yet here he was, completely going against his beliefs. “No, Honi. I can’t.” This time he took a step towards her. “Why do you even care in the first place? Go on, tell me because I can’t comprehend it.”
When she looked at the cruel teen that towered before her, you could no longer see sadness in her eyes, all that she could do was feel angry. Without hesitating, she shoved him against a locker and punched him repeatedly in the chest. She was weak, so it probably didn't hurt him, but she wanted to do it. When she finally got tired she leaned against him, mumbling that "She was sorry," and that "It was all because she loved him and cared for him."
OOC:
I'm back!
Second chance: Honi and Nate.
Nate simply looked down at the younger girl. Everything she was saying was true, and he actually agreed with it. He didn’t like who he had become either, and that’s what scared him the most. “If you don’t like it, then don’t even bother with it.” He removed her hands from his chest before taking a step back from her and shrugging his shoulders slightly. “It’s not your business, Jesus Christ.” Admittedly, he did feel guilty about saying what he did to her but he wasn’t about to admit that, nor give away any signs of it. He didn’t deserve her — or anyone that used to be a part of his life a year ago, for that matter. “I don’t expect you to take my crap,” Nate started in monotonously, looking her straight in the eyes. “I just expect you to not get involved with it in the first place.”
All she wanted to do was help, and this was her reward? She shook her head in exasperation, trying to resist the urge of slapping him hard across the face. "You're so stupid. . I wanted to get involved, but you just wouldn't let me." Her honey gaze met her shoes, fearing she might tear up and get mocked by the male before her. "I care about you, can't you understand that?" Her shoulders began shaking, and she tried to muffle the sobs that emerged from her dainty lips by placing a smooth palm over them.
