The bullying was what had allowed Kurt this now rare opportunity to get close to Blaine with the sociopath’s interests equally invested in their interactions. He’d been bullied too, that was what had made him this way, and ultimately the similarity made him a little bit obsessed with Kurt. He liked spending time with the other boy, and being kind had earned him the position of trusted confidante, which had allowed him to both hear about the misery Kurt had endured and stay close to him without putting him off with his little habits.

Like putting a knife up against the Hummel boy’s throat. Little things.

Seeing Kurt respond to him was thrilling and fascinating. He was still open in posture, as far as Blaine could tell. He wasn’t frightened, he wasn’t pulling away. But he was humbled, mumbling; he looked so small. The magnetic pull that Blaine felt that drew him closer could be seen in his hazel eyes as well. “Is your heart racing? You don’t look scared.” He looked Kurt’s face up and down once, then reached out a hand. Would this push Kurt away physically? It was an interesting question, and he knew just how to get it answered. “You know, this is the perfect weather for sharing a blanket.”

There was time Kurt was scared of being bullied for the way he dress to the pitch of his voice. Now he could look fear in the eye and say he didn't care. With knife that was against his throat, he knew that if he was going to have his throat slit, he would rather it be without fear in his eyes. Plus, he knew that Blaine wasn't going to hurt him the way Bullies have done to him. Maybe he has put too much trust in the other.

Kurt just couldn’t find it in his heart to be afraid of the one person he trusted with all of his secrets. He could get a little mad for the joke he had made just moments ago and push his hand away as a way to show it. “My heart is racing. It’s because I knew you wouldn’t hurt me.” He reached out take Blaine’s hand in his own with a small coming on his lips. He chuckled at the comment about sharing a blanket. “Let’s share a blanket.”

Kurt was unaware that Blaine was a sociopath with how kind he was to him through all of the bullying. If someone was tell him that he was one, he would laugh like it was some kind of joke they were playing with him. He would be naive about things that strike as odd. A knife that was placed to this throat should of been enough to tell him something was wrong and yet, he wanted to think it was a bad joke of Blaine’s part. If only he knew the truth about the other, but would he run away from it or be another victim?

He was just glad that metal object was no longer at his throat. He did see this look in those hazel eyes that was different from the innocent eyes he had come to get lost in. Or way he didn't seem so remorseful for scaring him like that. He didn't want to point it out to make Blaine mad or accuse him of lying. “It’s okay.” He mumbled. “I just wasn’t expecting it. That is all.”

i want to write relationships that are complicated.

i want to write the on-again-off-again relationships. i want the screaming matches and the cancelled dates and the hurt feelings and the second guesses and second chances. 

i want to write people who completely shake up each other’s daily routine and flip their entire world on its axis. i want them to drive each other crazy and question why they bother sticking around and then remember the way their partner laughs or see them in a moment of vulnerability that tells them ‘this is is why i stay. this is why i love you.‘ 

i want to write relationships with struggles. with class differences and financial divide. two people who are so completely different they somehow complete each other. i want the jealousy and the feelings of inadequacy that goes with it. 

i want to write people who aren’t afraid to be honest with their partner. who aren’t afraid to say ‘yeah you’re being an asshole’ followed by ‘but i still love you, you idiot.’

i want the first time they see their partner cry and the morning after their first intimate night when everything feels so right.

i want people who get so used to one another that they stop going the extra mile. i want the ‘you don’t make the effort because you already have me’ argument.

i want relationships that challenge each other to be better people and make each other question their beliefs and moral compass. 

but most of all, i want to write relationships that are real. that make you feel something. i want to go on the emotional rollercoaster right along with them.

that’s what i want.

Kurt thought it was a normal night for the two of them to watch a movie while chatting about the events of the day. He thought they were getting along well since they always talked through problems. What he didn’t expect was Blaine to put a knife against his throat for a joke or whatever was on his mind. At first, he didn’t know what to do with a sharp piece of metal to his throat and then, he put his hands up in surrender to play along with his game for that moment. “Blaine, what are you doing? If this is some kind of game, it’s not funny anymore.” He stated with not knowing whether to be scared or have a laugh about the whole thing.

                    As Kurt spoke on, Sebastian found his full interest being invested into EVERY word that fell so BEAUTIFULLY from his lips. Something about it made everything sound like a song without even having to sing. The Warbler liked how Kurt;s voice sounded when he spoke, it was genuinely calming. Sebastian found it HARD to discover something calming in his life. Home life was always something interesting and not in the good way. His house was so silent and empty that his head began to sound like the LOUDEST place in the world most days. Always so much chaos with the karma his attitude brings along with it too. Eyes were practically radiating a FIRE and complete INFATUATION over the well-dressed boy. ❝I fail to see why competition would get in our way at all. Personally? I find the whole enemies out of neutrality thing to be kinda hot.❞

                    Noticing the obvious blush on Kurt’s cheeks, a grin spreads across the Warbler’s face. An urge to make him blush over and over again spiraled in his head. Sebastian just COULDN’T seem to take his eyes off of the other as he sat across from him with his coffee lightly gripped in his hand. He was so used to the more rugged types he would meet at the gay bars. French men were always so hairy too back when he lived in Paris still. But this Kurt Hummel, he had a softness to him. No over-exaggerating in the claim that his blue eyes and pretty smile made Seb become lost. 

                    ❝So – how serious exactly are you and your little boyfriend, Kurt? Are you doing the whole open relationship thing or do you just have the skill to be extra sneaky?❞ he says in a teasing manor, letting eyes scan him up and down with ATTRACTION for him boiling to a HIGH. ❝I can only IMAGINE it’s hard to stay committed to one man alone with the attention you must get. Probably have closeted men chasing after you ALL the time. You don’t find boys like you just anywhere. So many boring guys around here, I think I began to wonder where someone like you was hiding.❞ 

                    Kurt didn't have a proper REACTION to all what he was hearing because this wasn't his boyfriend. He didn't have a problem with the Warblers or anyone for that matter, but he was a little SUSPICIOUS as to why he was being flirted towards. Yet, he didn’t do thing to stop this from happening.  ❝There is nothing wrong with friends on the other side of the competition.❞ He was not going SPILL any secrets of what New Directions were planning for Sectionals this year, but they knew they were going to win. He also knew that Sebastian idea was for them to be more than friends kind of vibe.

                    No one would flirt with Kurt unless they were his boyfriend or wanted to be out about being gay in Lima. He could easily feel those emerald hues ROAMING along his upper body which made him lift his free hand to fit the collar on his shirt. He wanted nothing more than reach up and slap himself in the face for having these thoughts, but for now, he could only MENTALLY slap himself for those thoughts. He took a small sip of his drink while he looked around with hues to be sure no familiar was around. Sebastian Smythe just knew what to say to keep him blushing.

                    ❝We are serious. I wouldn't CHEAT on Blaine.❞ Maybe this would make Sebastian back off just a bit from him. He wouldn't have to hide the fact that someone was flirting with him that wasn't his boyfriend. Still, it didn't stop from mentioning the ATTENDANCE from men and closet for that matter. ❝I have been hiding in this town because it is homophobic.❞ He admitted about Lima, which was not a secret to anyone living here. ❝It’s not hard when you like who you are with.❞ He raised an manicured eyebrow at the promiscuous male.
