such a heeseung thing to do
the specific lullaby i have in mind is the island baby one..... so soft and sweet
you lay your head on his chest so the vibrations echo through your body
n you tell him that his voice feels nice
he hums songs to you a lot on a regular basis
like in the mornings when ure cooking and hes hugging you from behind n swaying side to side
or when you jolt awake from a nightmare and he hums while running a hand through your hair
ugh just so so so endearing
sometimes when hes tired, he asks you to do it in return
n even though youre shy, you softly sing the lyrics against his temple
and then he understands why you want him to do this every night
like you are the last handful of water in the whole world, safe from slipping between his fingers
he cups your face and your hips and your thighs
you fit together so perfectly
and even when you toss and turn every five seconds
hes there to hold you again
even when you move away because the body heat is too much
he locks pinkys and waits until you ultimately scoot right back into his side
n he just cant help but bury his nose into your neck and smile against your skin
because he loves u so much
and he whispers the sweetest things to the shell of your ear
he hopes you dont hear the really sappy stuff π
but youre a light sleeper
and cant help but press a kiss anywhere you can reach as soon as he says it
he kinda just freezes.... and hides his face into your neck even more
you both fall asleep with zero (0) space between you
lets you play with his hands
we all know jake has the prettiest of hands
and you sure do love to play with them
because you fall asleep with your fingers messily intertwined with his
and its so imperfectly perfect
even though hes twisted at an extremely awkward angle that makes his arm go numb pretty quickly
because i feel like he really likes falling asleep with your backs against each other
so, as long as you have a nice rest, he'll bend and turn any way for you
and he thinks its definitely worth it when hes awoken by the feeling of your lips dragging across his red knuckles
you press soft kisses to each one, moving to do the same to the tips of his fingers
IT SOUNDS WEIRD BUT HE THINKS ITS THE CUTEST THING EVER
his favorite part is brushing past ur lips and watching them bounce back into place
n its your favorite part too because of the little giggles he lets out
so sometimes u pout n jut out your bottom lip a little bit
just to tempt him to do it
because you really think he has the laugh of an angel
he also likes to draw shapes on your cheeks
like little hearts or swirls
no matter what he does, it makes you absolutely melt
like genuinely your legs get weak and you feel so very giggly all of a sudden
you want him to do it forever
its the sweetest sort of intimacy youve ever felt
and it puts you to sleep right away
though that doesnt mean he stops doing it
hes a really good storyteller
and his voice calms you down a lot
so you ask him to talk about his day
and he does little sound effects
just to fully immerse you in whats happening
nd you cant help but smile
so when hes done telling you about his whole week, he starts to tell you abt the new drama hes been watching
but as you start to fall asleep, his voice becomes background noise
so he decides to tell you about it another night, and settles for pushing a piece of hair behind your ear
pressing a soft kiss to your temple
cheek kisses forehead kisses nose kisses
all the kisses just for you
he really doesnt care if you fall asleep or not
because doesnt want to either
so he settles for grabbing your face and rubbing your noses together
and you have to push him away
because he loves getting in your personal space
he really is a cat at heart :(((
he only gets this way as your both settling down for bed
and suddenly hes kissing every inch of your face n whining when you wipe them off
pretty soon he just. falls on top of you from exhaustion
the dance practice soreness has finally set in
and he pressed his lips right beneath your ear
peppering little kisses every now and then
keep in mind hes still on top of you
nd you both end up falling asleep in that position
before you push him off of you and the bed the next morning
lets you play with his hair
let's be honest, hes gonna fall asleep before you anyway
so he tucks himself into you
and you run your fingers through his hair
and its very soothing to you
because his hair is so soft and easy to brush through
and he cant help but let out low hums of satisfaction
so that soothes you even more
n you guys doze off in that position where he has his arms wrapped around your waist and your hand twirling the hairs at the nape of his neck
