One aspect of 9-1-1 that I love is the found family.

I’m neutral on buddie, if they turn romantic and it works for the characters I’d be happy. If they remain platonic, I would still love them and be happy.

I love seeing friendship, especially between men, portrayed in such a beautiful light. For lack of a better term Buck and Eddie are each others ride or die. Soul mates can be platonic. Everybody needs friends you can count on no matter what. To me, that’s what they are. Guess we will see how this progress as the seasons go on. Hopefully we get many more!

This might be an incredibly unpopular opinion but I’m choosing to not give up hope. I do think they’ll find their way back to each other. I’ve always found it difficult to judge a show based off a few episodes. They are telling a story and we only have a portion of it right now. Sometimes couples go through shit, and they take some time apart to get it figured out. I’m curious to see how the rest of the season unfolds and hopefully we get a season 7.

I have never been a Buddie shipper. There is zero hesitation about Buck being Bi, it makes perfect sense for the character. I have just never gotten those vibes from Eddie. I’m assuming this is an unpopular opinion, and that’s completely fine. I am however super excited to see how this Tommy storyline plays out. Good on ABC for making it happen. I loved their whole talk and kiss at the end of the episode

I haven’t seen the episode yet, just the chips on here and other posts, so I could be way off BUT it seems like Lucy is just spiraling from the anxiety/self doubt she’s feeling. Tim hasn’t really done anything wrong and seemed to be quite supportive of her. The look on her face at the end of the episode when they have their discussion seems to show she realized she’s being a bit overdramatic about it all.

As someone who has spiraled about various things, and taken it out on my husband unnecessarily, I get why how it can happen. It doesn’t make it right but it’s like that’s the person you feel safest with so you don’t have to hold everything together. If that makes sense.

I can handle some angst and they’ll come out of this stronger. They are two emotionally mature adults who will work through it.

Just my two cents 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m not worried about Chenford potentially breaking up. This show doesn’t do unnecessary breakups. We’ll get angst for sure but that just makes the good times sweeter.

Season 6 won’t be a long season but I have a feeling it will be a good season!

Just doing a rewatch of The Rookie before the new season starts. Just finished 2x12. What do you think Lucy was thinking when Tim gave her ring back at the end of the episode? I love that moment between them and the looks seem to leave so much open.

Lucy loves UC work but I have this feeling that she isn’t going to end up pursuing it as her career after this next stint.

The show hasn’t painted it in a good light, ever really. First it was Isabel. She lost everything. Her husband, reputation and almost her life. Then Nyla. She lost her husband, and her kid. Who she had to fight like hell for and is much happier being out of UC work.

To me it seems like maybe they’re playing the long game in getting Lucy to the point of choosing Tim and the life they can build together over full UC work. Tim will support her no matter what but it’s a decision Lucy has to make for herself. Let’s see how the last two episodes go and then onto season 6!

We’ve had 7 episodes of Tim and Lucy actually together in a relationship. In my opinion, we’ve gotten some good content. Maybe not everything we all want to see but still some good stuff nonetheless.

I really enjoyed this last episode. I love the ease of Tim and Lucy’s relationship. To me it shows a real, mature relationship between two people who know they are meant for each other.

Imagine all the stuff we’ll get from here on out. The stories that we’ll get to see in the next season - I refuse to believe it won’t get renewed - It’s gonna be so good!

I’m here for Chenford. Big moments, small moments and everything in between

I really enjoyed this last episode. There were no Chenford interactions but it was a nice reminder that I don’t watch the show solely for Chenford. I enjoy them obviously, and they may be my favorite part of the show but the rest of the ensemble is great to watch in action too.

There are a lot of people upset by the lack of Chenford but sometimes it’s good to have a reminder that this is an ensemble show. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can understand where Tamara is coming from with thinking about getting her own place. Ive always viewed Lucy and Tamara’s relationship as one like sisters. As someone who has older sisters, with an age gap similar to what theirs would be, I can understand wanting to give them space. Tamara can see the difference in Lucy and Tim’s relationship compared to others. She knows they are in it for the long haul. I can’t see either of them asking her to leave but I can see Lucy moving into Tim’s place and leaving the apartment for Tarama
