Three days ago I would have laughed.
It feels like a fever dream that these three were once on the same team đ
god fucking damn it do some fucking research. the suicide rates in trans youth arenât a joke. people actually kill themselves. not out of spite and not to threaten anyone. the vast majority of trans people know exactly what theyâre doing and wouldâve gladly not had dysphoria if they had a choice. statements like this help push the idea that transgender people (particularly teens) are mentally ill attention seekers who go to the extreme just for funsies and choose to be the way they are, which couldnât be farther from the truth
youâre the one who havenât done your research though.
puberty blockers do not alleviate negative thoughts in children with gender dysphoria, finds study.
hereâs a compilation of various sources that shows that the majority of children grow out of their dysphoria into healthy homosexual adults.
a study proving that the suicide rates increase after transition and that sex-reassigned people have considerably higher risks for suicidal behaviour and psychiatric morbidity.
another study showing that between 80% and 97.5% of transgender children later detransition.
âmedical intervention may, in effect, become another form of âconversion,â whereby some children who would otherwise have grown up gay or lesbian receive âgender affirmingâ cross-sex treatments insteadâ.
there is significant evidence of transitioning being the new contagious social condition for teenage girls.
âevidence for puberty blockers use very low.â
transgender surgery provides no mental mealth benefit, another study says.
letâs talk then about the procedures and consequential effects of these long-term medical interventions you so easily dismissed:
a general overview regarding transition procedures and its effects.Â
a masterpost about puberty blockers.
hereâs compilation of several sources explaining the dangers of lupron.
the medical harms of hormonal and surgical interventions for gender dysphoric children.
gender transition procedures for minors must be considered experimental procedures at best.
âtransitionâ treatment harms kids, veteran psychiatrist at UK gender clinic says
please read what detrans people have been saying as well:
âfor the past four years Iâve been stuck as a child.â
âI was a transgender woman for 8 years â time I canât get back.â
âI was an unhappy girl who needed help. instead, I was treated like an experiment.â
detransitioning Individuals and stories.
this whole website is worth checking out.
a collection of detrans stories from female detransitioners and desisters.
another collection here and here.
if you repeatedly tell a dysphoric child the false statistic that they will die by age 35 thereâs a good chance they will believe you and it will influence their mental state. lgb youth got the âit gets betterâ talk. trans youth gets the âyou will die if you donât get what you want right nowâ talk. ellen page flat out said âchildren will dieâ regarding males not playing on female sports teams. of course children constantly hearing things like this will be suicidal. I feel like itâs similar to how you have to be careful not to ask children leading questions in cases of suspected abuse, because if done improperly, the child can start to believe they were abused even if nothing happened. they display signs of trauma and develop false memories. developing minds are easily influenced and itâs not something to fuck around with because the psychological consequences can be severe
the word âwomanâ was bad to describe us, so people said âfemaleâ. the word âfemaleâ was bad so people said âafabâ. the word âafabâ is now bad too (âtalking about afab experiences is transmisogynisticâ), and you apparently shouldnât talk about the experiences of âpeople with vaginasâ only, either.Â
discussing âradical feminismâ was bad, so people said âfeminismâ, but that was bad, too, so people just talked about âmisogynyâ, but that was a âterfâ dogwhistle, so people talked about âgendered socializationâ but thatâs a transmisogynistic discussion framework, apparently. So where do you go next?
Itâs not that the words were offensive, itâs that the power they gave to women to exclusively discuss ourselves and our problems effectively and accurately was. Itâs a silencing tactic. We could call ourselves anything as a sex class and itâd still be offensive that we found solidarity. You canât talk about, find community with, or protect women if acknowledging sex is banned, and you canât talk about womenâs issues if acknowledging sexism is banned.Â
Have you ever had a surgery?

âI've changed so much since that PSG Lindsay and I'm so proud but I'm so thankful for all the people and the experiences, all the players that I played with that helped me get to this point, the players that were in the stands today. I looked up at Tobin Heath when I was singing the national anthem and she had so much belief in me throughout this entire tournament, through my entire career and I was just like, 'Yeah, this is what it's all about,' so I'm thankful for all that. I'm thankful that I started my career here and I get to put on a gold medal at Parc des Princes.â
