Here’s some expressions too!
Thanks to the wonderful combined efforts of @neethree and our artist, Saismirk, progress has been going smoothly for the creation of our in game model assets. Though we still don’t have much in the way of gameplay, since we recently restarted it from the ground up, I’m glad we can at least get this stuff going!
I wish I could post more often, but limited time to work on the project lately, due to other work, makes it tough! We’re still trying out best and will not give up on completion of our goals!
Work is hard, uni is hard, but not ded yet.

Out of Uni for the month so I’ve more time to spend on the project. Here’s some more stolen borrowed music and a totally original, definitely not just copied from DBFZ, transition draft for testing. Trying to come up with cool looking methods to mask scene transitions since I can’t animate models. Damn Unity and those few moments of hang when loading a scene tho.

Heya, updates have been kind of infrequent, but I’ve still been working on stuff over time! Uni and work combined have left me pretty exhausted almost every day so I don’t have much free time, but whenever I do I work on this project!
We’ve finally got some models of our own to test with, courtesy of our wonderful artist, Sai!
Her name is Ria Blues and she’s our testing NPC for now! We plan to have more in the coming months but the one is better than none!

Aside from that, we’re still working on getting new stuff done! A lot of recent progress has just been testing small elements and improving design/visuals/performance.
We’re currently building a new scene to test out some more new elements/mechanics and also improving our prior battle scene and gameplay! Still trying to find some ways to get some assets/props too! We’re still using cough”borrowed”cough music from other games, sadly...

Made some changes to Mori’s design, namely in her shorts and belt! I want to change more, but I suck at character design.
I changed her name to look and sound differently than prior.
Mioriasse --> Moriasse. Pronounced: Mo-Ree-Ah Hope-Light
I also adjusted her height, weight and style name for new development! She’s much shorter and lighter than before, especially compared to these two giants!
No actual gamedev updates, but here’s some commissioned art.
Maybe one day I’ll produce enough decent content to post, but currently I don’t think anything I’ve worked on recently has been worthwhile enough to post!

Long time no see! Here’s an update on some small stuff. Still working on little things and just recently I’ve been spending a lot more time on combat related scripting and the like. I’ve only been focusing on stuff like managers for stats, equipment, items etc, so I can have all those related mechanics prepared for when I really need them. There’s not much to show there but at the very least, I finally managed to start combo related combat stuff based on player input during the correct frames!
Still using Unitychan and some borrowed animations off the Unity asset store, but they’ve been pretty helpful in learning how to do this kinda stuff for the future and I’m still trying to find some proper 3D artists for models. I wanna try to make other combo strings aside from the one 4attack string in the video, but I’m just happy that I finally understand how to make it work! Got a lot of stuff to work out, of course and many many things left to do, but hopefully with a bit more time/effort I can make some better animations of my own and actually get some real stuff done for the future!

Been a while since I last posted any progress, mostly due to work and various other circumstances, sadly. Poor man gotta work hard. Not much progress has been made, at the very least not much I can show, but here’s a little thing I did recently!
Nothing major unfortunately, but here’s a new edition to things I’d like to have for my test World Map! I wanted to have a little dot trail following the player on the world map in the game, just for something a bit different than the standard in most JRPGs. It’s simple and just for a neat but of flair, definitely gonna spruce it up with other stuff to improve on it, though.
Otherwise, I’ve mostly just been working on coding and making things related to the battle stuff I’ve posted earlier. Some monster designs, character designs and writing a lot! Hopefully I can have something significant to show within the month!
