[Amane is healing Seiji in the medical tent. After a while, the light from the healing rod fades and Amane opens her eyes.]

Amane: That should do the trick. How are you feeling?

Seiji: Much better, thank you.

Seiji: Phew… It's finally over.

Amane: Yes. It may have taken many years, but we’ve finally avenged our people. My father, Saizo’s father, and so many others… They can rest in peace now.

Amane: …

Amane: Seiji. There’s something I wish to ask you about.

Seiji: What is it?

Amane: Is—Did you happen to see Nagame?

Seiji: No, I did not. It’s odd. I was sure he’d be with the rest of Kotaro’s forces. Perhaps he was away on a mission.

Amane: I see… I hope that’s the case.

Amane: Then…what about Kaze? Did you see him? Was he—Did he truly join Nohr?

Seiji: I’m afraid so. I’m sorry, Amane.

Amane: I see… Thank you for telling me, Seiji.

Seiji: …

Amane: …

Seiji: Are you alright?

Amane: …Yes, I am. Or rather, I will be—I have to be. We’ve got more battles ahead of us.

Seiji: You’ve decided to answer Saizo’s call.

Amane: Yes. We don’t have much of a choice, to be honest. Our clan’s—our village’s fate is ultimately tied to Hoshido’s. And he isn’t one to ask for help lightly.

Seiji: Mizuki Seiji of Igasato. I’m with Saizo here. You must be Prince/Princess Corrin. I’ve heard much about you, though none of them are good, I’m afraid.

Saizo: Seiji, where is Amane?

Seiji: Busy tending to the injured. [coolly glances at Kaze] It’s for the best.

Kaze: …

Seiji: Right then, shall we? Temporary though this arrangement may be, it’s a pleasure to be working with you Nohrians.

Amane: Better. We’re past the worst of it. Was that all the antidote we had?

Seiji: Unfortunately. We weren’t exactly planning on needing enough for an entire army.

[If Nagame was killed (defeated by someone other than Seiji)]

Amane: That is true. Amane: …I should get back to work. Please continue to look for any information on the poisons they were using. Seiji: Understood.

[Else, if Nagame is alive (undefeated or was defeated by Seiji)]

[Enter Corrin and Nagame] Corrin: I found him! This is who you’re looking for, right? Seiji: Yes, thank you. Nagame: What do you want from me? Seiji: Your expertise in poisons, of course. You are a Kagemori, yes? Amane: Wait, you can’t possibly mean to ask him for help. He’s our enemy! Corrin: That’s in the past. There’s no reason why we can’t work together now. I’m willing to place my faith in him. Sakura: I-If Big Brother/Sister trusts him, then I will too! Amane: Lady Sakura… Amane: …I understand. I have no further objections. Seiji: Wonderful! That just leaves you. Are you willing to help us? Nagame: As if I have a choice. Lead the way.

[Amane sends up a flare. Scene cuts to Seiji.]

Seiji: So he’s finally lost his patience. Wonderful. I was starting to get tired of waiting.

[Seiji turns to the ninjas behind him.]

Seiji: The time of reckoning has come! Time to show them what happens when they mess with Igasato!

Mizuki ninjas: Yes!

[The ninjas disappear into the trees. Seiji unsheathes his blades.]

Seiji: Right then. Let’s go.

[Amame and Seiji become playable units.]

=== Talk: Amane & Saizo ===

Amane: Saizo. There’s something I need to tell you.

Saizo: What is it?

Amane: Mokushu has captured your fellow retainer, Kagerou.

Saizo: What?! Did you see where she was taken?

Amane: Yes, but only in so far as a dense thicket in the east. It’s obviously the entrance to an outpost or stronghold, but with how lightly guarded it looks on the outside…there’s no question it’s a trap.

Saizo: Tch. Coward.

Amane: It’s high time he pays for what he’s done. Let’s go, Saizo.

[Before combat]

Saizo: You will answer for your crimes, traitor.

Nagame: …

Amane: Go, Saizo. Leave him to me.

???: Phew, that was close. Is everyone alright?

Corrin: Thank you. You are…?

Amane: My name is Amane, my lord/lady. I’m a friend of Saizo and Kaze’s. Please forgive me for being direct but I’m afraid you’ve walked into a trap. The Mokushu army has us surrounded.

Corrin: What?!

Kaze: She's right. I sense a large number of enemies around us.

Azura: Could it be…a trap from Nohr?

Kaze: I don’t think so. This shuriken belongs to a Mokushu ninja.

Zola: I think he’s right. Those are not Iago’s illusions. They’re real ninjas.

Hinoka: How convenient. Come here, runt.

Zola: Awwk! Please remove that blade from my throat!

Hinoka: Not until you tell us what’s going on.

Zola: Gah! Your guess is as good as mine! Perhaps Nohr has made an alliance with Mokushu.

Kotaro: The deformed one is correct. Our kingdom has made an arrangement with Nohr.

Corrin: Who are you?

Kotaro: I am Kotarou, daimyo of Mokushu.

Corrin: And what is your quarrel with us, Daimyo Kotarou? We merely seek passage through your territory.

Azura: Yes. Our understanding was that Mokushu is an independent nation. Yet you are now beholden to Nohr?

Kotaro: Beholden? Pah! Mokushu is beholden to no nation. Our interests simply happen to line up with those of Nohr for the time being. Once Hoshido is defeated, King Garon will grant us considerable new territory. We’ve long been waiting for a chance to expand. And this war is the perfect opportunity.

Corrin: So you’re a war profiteer. How noble.

Kaze: Gods. The famous daimyo of Mokushu turns out to be a scheming politician. I don’t even have words for how disappointing that is.

Kotaro: Only the ambitious prosper in this world. Grow up, foolish Hoshidans.

Azura: So that’s why there were no wars in Mokushu. We were careless to not think of this possibility.

Kotaro: Indeed! Now that I have you all in one place, I can end the war today. I look forward to building a castle on the smoking ruins where Hoshido once stood.

Corrin: We won’t let that happen! Let’s go, everyone!
