On July 25th, 2025, Deluxe Age of the Primes Sureshot was revealed to the public at San Diego Comic-Con!
This was revealed on Day 46 of my count!
On February 8th, 2026, I found Sureshot in-store!

btw, sureshot is up for pre-order on amazon and i assume everywhere else. the release date says feb 1 2026 and there is also a transformation and review up on youtube with someone who somehow got that next wave already. i can send the link if you are interested. i do imagine that you may prefer to find him in the wild or otherwise experience the figure yourself but still i thought you may find that interesting.

i have a headcanon (for the Headmasters cartoon iteration) that Sureshot is terrible at paintball... but Pointblank is cracked at it, so he's constantly being pummeled with paint every time they play together. He's getting his paintjob ruined at the hands of his boss, it kind of hurts the ego.
The only way Pointblank loses during paintball is if Sureshot and Crosshairs team up with their Targetmaster partners and they all target Pointblank.

A deluxe AOTP Sureshot keeps showing up in rumored listings for the past few months. I'm hoping that he is real and won't be canceled like Legacy. SDCC's panel is... tomorrow, I think? Perhaps he will be mentioned.
I would love a prototype to look at, tbh. He'd be the ONLY figure I ever pre-order, lets be fuckin' real.

Sometimes I think a li'l too hard about Sureshot and I get sad-- then I think a little longer, and that sadness becomes motivation. I'm gonna draw him again when I get home from work.
Maybe if I think hard enough, my Targetmasters will get represented in media again.

I found a listing for a strange offbrand Sureshot and Spoilsport.

It really looks like a real G2/SG variant of him! Yes, G2 Sureshot exists, but the real one is a rebranded Optimus Prime.
