Given up on not being sporadic with these posts, haha. But they’re nice when they happen right??

Apparently Cleveland has some fancy and yummy restaurants. Luckily, Stefuf didn’t let me go to Panera for the millionth time this week and we went to Moxie instead, where the food was SO GOOD. Above is the grilled filet with butternut squash, vermicelli, kale, gruyere “fondue”, winter herbs, and below is the truffle risotto, a dish that was quite delicious and highly recommended by the waiter, though apparently often overlooked.

went to Shanghai Lounge with Shanghai peeps for Shanghai soup dumplings. not quite like the real Shanghai, but very close and quite photogenic.

All-American comfort food right here at Nando’s in Dupont Circle. Chicken flavored with mango-lime and lemon & herb sauces, corn on the cob, fries, and good ole mashed potatoes :)

FILOMENA WITH MY LITTLE FOR RESTAURANT WEEK! Everything perfect in the world. Appetizers (sweet Italian sausage and Italian Arborio rice rolled and stuffed with mozzarella and bolognese meat in bread crumbs), entree (shrimp, crabmeat, scallops, fresh mozzarella, and ricotta cheeses stuffed in black pasta sheets and covered in creamy lobster sauce) and the best part, DESSERT: triple chocolate mousse cake and mango/white chocolate mousse cake <3
