Heya! This is my bloodswap AU: Transfusion (and my kidswap AU: Fosterquest)! Check out the about page for both for more info on each of these fresh takes on some familiar faces.

Okay, we know which trolls Godtier. Now, which ones die during Murderstuck in place of Nepeta, Equius, Eridan, Feferi and Tavros? And who's the one who goes crazy and starts murdering everyone?

Who said there has to be a Murderstuck?

(I hope that didn't sound rude that's a genuine question actually)

Murderstuck came about because of a particular need of the plot, caused by one particular character with one particular set of circumstances. It doesn't really work, trying to force this new cast into those kinds of roles on a narrative scale. If I were to make this a full story, I wouldn't be focusing on hitting the plot beats of Homestuck one-to-one because A.) that isn't necessary, B.) that isn't feasible without compromising several aspects, and C.) that isn't fun.

So is it Vriska and Kanaya who Godtier in this universe? Or is it still Vriska and Aradia? Or is it two other trolls entirely?

Hey there! I was taking another look at your Midnight Crew-Felt swap, and it gave me an idea: what if you swapped all the Carapace Characters with Leprechaun Characters? Like the WV with Clover, the PM with Itchy, and the AR with Sawbuck?

The thought of there being 15 exiles frightens and concerns me.

Rose (Land of Woods and Invention): Salamanders

John (Land of Shrieks and Shadows): Turtles

Jade (Land of Rhythm and Rivers): Crocodiles

Dave (Land of Junk and Ghosts): Iguanas

Main reason is because I love the idea of Turtles hiding in their shells at all the scary shit happening on LOSAS.

(Side note: karkat's my favorite, although that could be bcus he's my favorite troll in the og homestuck too lol. His accidental comedian gimmick is so funny)

Sorry to dance on your idea, but wouldnt it make more sense for doppel to use small tears in the fabric of spacetime? Using wrinkles sounds really cool, and is a clever idea, but im not sure how you'd step inside a wrinkle to use it as a portal

It's a nod to "A Wrinkle in Time." The book itself has its own explanation of how "wrinkles in time" would work, but I would instead like to refer to the following quote from the book:

"Just because we don't understand doesn't mean that the explanation doesn't exist."

(the tl;dr is something about folding the linear plane of time over itself and causing a wrinkle in the middle, allowing you to step from one end to the other seamlessly.)

So if the Midnight Crew are Leprechauns in this… Then are the Felt consequently then a very large group of Carapacians? Is Snowman also a Leprechaun?

Probably! That's how it was in v1 of this AU — in particular, Snowman was a leprechaun by the name of Pian0.

Apparently my idea for why the Black Queen was turned into a leprechaun was something about catching a leprechaun and being granted three magic wishes for its freedom but I cannot for the life of me imagine what the motivation would be behind this. Oh well

While I work on the alpha kids/trolls, I figured I'd warm up with my take on The Felt The Sharks, mob members working for Lady English (name not final). Their respective deals are as follows:

Slice (SS) is the no-nonsense right-hand of Lady English’s right-hand, and wielder of the powerful BUTTERFLY EFFECT KNIFE juju, which has the ability to excise moments in time and prevent their consequences from having happened in the present and future. Incredibly fond of clocks.

Hunker (HB) is the heart of The Sharks, unsurprisingly. He automatically rolls a Nat 40 on all skill checks (particularly those concerned with STRONGNESS) any time the Genesis Frog’s heart beats. Yes, the universe frog has a heartbeat. He’s a walking rhythm game boss.

Doppel (DD), being a refined tailor in the making, has a keen sense for literal wrinkles in the literal fabric of space-time and is known to use said wrinkles as portals to other points in time (before ironing them out with his CHRONOS WRINKLEFUCKER juju so nobody can follow him). He has the power to create time clones of himself from other points in the timeline, but said clones can only do what he was doing at that time.

Clutch (CD) has the ability to pull any item from any timeline out of his hat. He can only do so if the item fits, though. As a result, he usually resorts to yoinking pumpkins from random places and times. Paradox space sure has a lot of pumpkins, hope nobody freaks out about ‘em all going missing.

I'm unsure if I'll end up doing the entirely of The Midnight Crew uhh The Twilight Breakers since it'd just be turning them into powerless carapacians but we'll see how it goes.
