“No, no, I’m good. But if you see a white ferret don’t be afraid to pick him up and come find me. I’d appreciate it a lot.”

“No, it’s fine. Just watch your steps the next time you rush your way through the dungeons. I wouldn’t know, I wasn’t giving attention to anything today. You could ask the others if they’ve seen your pet.”

Leah nodded her head, “I will, I’m just kind of frantic right now, I’ve never lost him before.”

“ Oh no, it’s fine, ” Daphne shrugged off the apology. “ But a ferret ? I don’t believe I have, sorry. Where did you last see it ? ”

“I uh, put him down to look at a book and I guess he ran off,” She said adjusting the strap of her bag on her shoulder.

“Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you...You wouldn’t happen to have seen a ferret, have you?”

“Please, don’t touch that.” The literal snake managed to force herself to say the please part, as she kept her sweet faux smile on her face. She honestly hadn’t meant to intentionally drop the object she was holding but now she was bending down herself to pick it up. “It was kind of you to stop though, but I’ve got it handled. But thank you anyways.”

Leah refrained herself from grabbing the dropped object, “I’m sorry. Are you’ve got everything handled? I can help you carry things, if you want.”

“ To how many people will I have to say this, Merlin.. ” Sybil sighed keeping what looked like a dragon egg steady in her arms. “ It’s made to look like one, but it’s most certainly NOT. I do want a pet dragon, but even I wouldn’t go that far. At least not now. ” After spending nearly a month in the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary followed with a small holiday of beast climbing there was no way the Slytherin was going to miss out on taking something from there as a souvenir. The egg not being the only thing she got, an obsidian gemstone carved to look almost like a claw dangling on a string around her neck. Since not only witnessing, but being a part of the hectic events in the end of the last school year the scarlet haired witch seemed a lot better than then, but looks could always fool. She’d gone back to her no good ways, where being in her seemingly best state she had no big desire to throw venomous words for no reason at all at others. Instead all she wished for was to continue with her reckless behavior, without caring that much about what laid ahead. Either way, she knew she’d get what she desired sans putting her mind on it .
