i feel fine and normal and neutral about being the fattest person in the polycule and therefore the guy that cannot share or steal clothes from either of the other two. it is not triggering and does not remind me of being the fattest child in my family and always being in trouble for not fitting into hand me downs and needing new clothes. it also doesn’t trigger my eating disorder crazy style. i’m fine and normal and will not spiral about it.

My one boring tip to anyone in their 20s is to resist the temptation to rot in your room every time you get a free moment. Dismiss any neuroses you have about going outside and "being perceived". Be a dictator about it, plan your hangouts like they are binding commitments. No excuses! Go to the bar with your friends. Be kinda hungover at work. Socializing is like exercise; even if you don't feel like you want to, you should still do it because it's good for you.

socializing works a little bit like a car battery and alternator. if you continue to make yourself go out and do things, your social alternator makes it infinitely more manageable for you to continue to go out and do things. if you let yourself be completely idle for too long, the alternator doesn't get to keep charging your battery and eventually it runs completely down and it's nearly impossible to go out and do stuff with a dead social battery. you can always get it jumped again by a friend who's willing to do so, but as with a real car battery it's kind of a whole Thing and the first time out with a jumped battery is still really shaky and weird and anxiety-inducing and all of this could've been avoided if you'd just gone to the arcade or whatever

wanting to lose weight because on testosterone for weight redistribution and like muscle changes you have to lose weight and gain it back vs eating disorder brain FIGHT !!!!

like i don’t want to lose weight to be skinny. but if i lost like? considerable weight and then gained weight back maybe testosterone would FUCKING WORK and i wouldn’t look the SAME AS I DID a fucking YEAR AND A HALF ago :)

but i know once i start losing weight intentionally (the grief stuff im not counting) i will. it will be so hard not to spiral. but like. i don’t want to be a skinny twink tboy. i am mostly okay with where im at a lot of the time? but i want. testosterone to DO SOMETHING and it isn’t. so. i want to try that. but unfortunately ive had an eating disorder for as long as i can remember that until like 4-5 years ago was actively enforced and encouraged by people around me. so like. i’m Struggling with the concept.

also complicated feelings about my place in the kink community as a plus sized sub because so much of what you see is exclusively skinny-focused but that’s not the issue here
