Watch my six!
how it genuinely feels
No thoughts just retired!ghost who gets along better with bugs than people...
Sure, he goes to therapy, but that's only to fill the mandatory requirements price set for his allowance. Sessions are spent stubbornly answering questions in the vaguest terms and only reassuring his therapist that he has no intentions to hurt anyone.
Truthfully, he doesn't have any intentions to hurt anyone. For the first time since his forceful retirement, ghost feels somewhat balanced.
All because of the various bugs he keeps in his apartment.
An entire wall enclosures specifically curated to each critter inside. Beetles, isopods, millipedes. Each one hand-selected by ghost, lovingly raised. Something about the company of such small creatures loosens his tongue, has him mumbling "I'm home. Rough day, store was out o' my bread." To them.
Where ghost is a sealed vault to anyone else, his bugs know everything. He whispers to them each night, vents about his day, tells them about the weird duck he saw by the park.
He also tells them about his crush. You, the neighbor who always brings him cookies.
"I really like 'em, betty," ghost tells his beetle over dinner, sprinkling food into her enclosure "real nice. Never judges me. Great ass too–"
The...only downside being that ghost doesn't realize just how thin the walls are. Nor the fact his bugs share a wall with your bed.
...maybe one day you'll get the guts to actually talk to him.
Break In
PAIRING: Jason Todd x Reader
SYNOPSIS: "Sure, baby." He smiles down at her, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes, twirling it around his finger before tucking it behind an ear. "You'd think after the last-"
His body catches it before his mind does, and she watches in real time as Jason tenses, then trails off, the amusement draining from his expression. "What is it?" She whispers, confused. Her hand curls around his, squeezing.
Their front door breaks into splinters with a loud bang.
NOTE: It's actually been ages
MASTERLIST
"Let me up!" She giggles, trying to squirm away from under him. Jason is heavy, mostly muscle, and has no problem pinning her down with his body weight. A lazy smile stretches across his face, eyes glinting with amusement. "Jason!"
"Nah, you had so much to say earlier." He digs his fingers into her waist and yanks her back down under him easily. "Where's all that attitude now, huh?"
Rare were these days, where the Gotham smog cleared to show hints and flashes of the stars speckling the night's sky through their apartment's window. Days where neither of them came home with their shoulders set heavy, the slight weight of the world on them despite the years both of them have had to assimilate to the fact that that just is part of living in this city.
She doesn't even remember how they started play fighting, just that there had been a playful jab here, a chase around their kitchen table, laughter, and then the soft impact of Jason tackling her onto the couch cushions before dragging them both to the ground. Always careful, despite his strength, always cautious to cushion her landing physically and metaphorically.
It's carefree, for a moment. She's just her, and he's just Jason, and none of the darkness outside the rusty hinges of their front door exists.
Reaching around him, her fingers tangle in the hair near the back of his head, and she tugs him down. Jason fights it for a moment, just to see her giggle and then he relents, kissing her firmly, taking his time because God knows so much of it is already behind him. "I'm letting you win this time." She mumbles into his mouth, and Jason can't manage to hold back a snicker while he pulls away.
"Sure, baby." He smiles down at her, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes, twirling it around his finger before tucking it behind an ear. "You'd think after the last-"
His body catches it before his mind does, and she watches in real time as Jason tenses, then trails off, the amusement draining from his expression. She moves to sit up upon sensing the change, but a hand to her shoulder pushes her back down and still. "Stop." He says, head cocked to the side, brow furrowed in concentration.
"What is it?" She whispers, confused. Her hand curls around his, squeezing.
His eyes narrow. "I think-"
Their front door breaks into splinters with a loud bang.
Jason swears, immediately throws himself forward to cover her body with his own, arms around her head as pieces of wood fly over the couch. Her hands come to grab at him in shock, and once the dust settles they only have a moment to pull away and make eyes contact before Jason is ripped away and thrown against the coffee table hard enough to shatter the glass.
"What the fuck?" He snarls, sitting up with a wince, adrenaline catching fire in his blood. "Who-"
When Jason's finally calm enough to blink the sudden wave of anger out of his vision, his back stiffens. Caught between the smoking barrel of a shotgun and a headlock, is her.
To her credit, she doesn't look panicked. If the pinch in her brow is something to go by she's furious, but there's a controlled glint in her eyes that tells him she's tampering down her real fear to unpack later.
"Stay down." The man says. Two others in similar cloth masks scatter around the apartment, pulling out drawers and shoving things into bags.
Jason stands, and the man shoves the gun against his girlfriend's head hard enough for her to stifle a groan. He catalogues the sound, remembers it for when he'll pay it back tenfold later.
He's cautious, but knows that the man likely won't pull the trigger so soon, not when he has easy leverage against him. Was this a random robbery, or a personal attack on him, is the main question. By the looks of it there's nothing to suggest that anyone is really interested in Jason aside from keeping him from making a move.
"The fuck do you want?" He snarls, hands bunching into fists. Something dark thrums right under his skin, infecting his blood with a poisoning green that Jason has finally come to co-exist with.
"Nothing personal." Jackass 1 says with a shrug, and the inflection in his tone suggests he's smiling. "Running low on cash, my boys and I gotta keep the lights on."
No way Redhood just got caught in the middle of a random robbery.
If Tim was here he'd be laughing.
Jason feels the farthest thing from amused.
If this were just his place, he'd be less bothered about it maybe, but it isn't. It's theirs. Something crafted from years of living together, every corner holding something of value may that be monetary or sentimental. His and his girls. Their bed where they sleep every night, their kitchen table they use for those sleepless nights, their living room Jason often than not collapses in after a long patrol. Echoes of them live in the rooms, and it's one of the few sanctuaries Jason feels he can shed his armour without the fear of it getting thrown back in his face.
And now it's been tainted.
Drawers emptied out, photo frames on the floor, and a gun pressed to his girl's head.
The freak goes to say something else, maybe to taunt him or demand the location of whatever he thinks he's going to find, but nothing but a howl comes out of his mouth as Jason watches the woman he loves rear her head back and crack it against the bastards nose, her free hand pushing the barrel of the gun away from her temple just as it goes off.
The noise is deafening, leaves a ringing in her ears that's almost unbearable, but the momentum is enough for her to shove the man off and stumble against one of the walls, hand pressed against her ear in pain. She trusts him to handle it, trusts him enough to squeeze her eyes shut and focus on not throwing up all over their new rug.
'Atta girl' Jason thinks viciously, and after sparing a glance just to see her whole and in one piece, he launches himself forward with an amount of grace surprising for a man of his stature.
Jason snarls, rips the gun out of the man's hand and slams the rear end of it into his head, kicking him hard in the chest to send him crashing into the wall. The other two men have abandoned their pillaging in favour of pulling out small knives and jumping into the fray, trying to take him down.
Like hell.
They go down easy, further proof that this wasn't a professional job, just an unlucky encounter for both ends.
Jason disarms them both, knocks them out, and leaves them on the ground before picking up one of their knives and approaching the first guy on the ground who's struggling to push himself up against the wall.
He grabs the man by the hair and yanks it backwards painfully, standing over him with a scowl. "Bad day to be you, shithead."
Then he drives the knife straight into the man's wrist that held the gun, twisting until he's screaming and Jason can feel his bones crack and separate. He leaves the blade in their, tightens his grip on the bastard's head and slams it down onto the floorboards to knock him out.
Silence. The noise is over as soon as it started, the threat neutralised, but Jason still feels the tell-tale anger coursing through his veins. It's a struggle to soothe it, to remember that this isn't who he is now, that taking the lives of these three men would not make him feel better in the long run no matter how much his fingers itch to pull the trigger. Shaking it off, he turns to more important matters.
He's by her side in seconds, a hand on her back and urging her to straighten up from how she's standing all curled into herself.
"Hey." He breathes, voice dropped to a lower register. "We're good, it's alright, c'mon."
She shakes her head.
Alarm rings through him. "What's wrong?" Jason says, shifting to stand in front of her, hands on her shoulders. He practically pulls her upright
"Hurts..." She grits out, pale. "I...I can't hear clearly. Ringing." "Shit." She inhales with a shudder.
"Let me see." It comes out firmer, and this time when he tries to tilt her head up Jason doesn't let her fight it.
Blood drips down the side of her face, slick between her fingers that were pressed against the wound. Jason's breath hitches sharply as he brushes away her hair to inspect the damage. It's nothing severe, the gun firing just grazed the side of her forehead but everything's still intact, and she's still breathing, and Jason hasn't lost the best thing to ever happen to him over dumb Gotham luck-
A hand winds around his wrist, one that he hadn't noticed was shaking. "I'm fine." She finally says, blinking hard a few times and straightening up. She wobbles, and offers him a weak smile when Jason immediately steadies her by the waist. "It's okay, Jay."
"It's not." He swallows, glancing over his shoulder at the wreckage of their home. Bloodstains and dents in the walls, possessions thrown around, and blankets torn up. Now that the adrenaline is wearing off, a heavy sort of sadness settles in him.
"I don't care about all that." She says softly, holding onto him as the tinnitus starts to fade. The sound is still dizzying, but much more bearable now. "Just that we're alright."
Jason lets out a long breath, and allows himself a moment to bury his face in her hair, breathing in her scent. He winds an arm around her, digs his phone out from his pocket with the other.
The screen is cracked.
"That'll need stitches." He mumbles, pulling away to frown at the bleeding again. "We're going to the cave, Alfred'll help."
Tired, she settles for a nod. They gather the few essential things they need and Jason kicks aside one of the men in front of the door roughly to get past and back outside. There's a little bit of satisfaction in that.
Tonight he'll watch over her, stay by her side and hover. That's just what he does, what Jason has always done after a close call. His bones ache with the need to protect, to stay close, to safeguard. Tonight is for soothing that rush of anger in him that he's barely keeping a leash on, just enough to make sure that she's settled and recovering well.
Tomorrow, however?
Tomorrow, the Red Hood goes hunting.

Parings: mechanic! Jason Todd x Single mother! Reader
A/n: this wa supposed to be a one shot but I just couldn’t get them tg by the end of it. I didn’t want to drag it either! So part 2 soon
By the time you got to the mechanic, the screaming had been going on for more than an hour.
This week was really a week from hell.
Kali just wouldn’t stop crying. You thought you had hurt her or maybe she was sick, so you had taken her to the hospital.
$2000 added to your never ending medical debt for colic.
And if you weren’t struggling enough, then you were fired from your job.
5 months, your boss had said, was more than enough maternity leave. Apparently he hadn't been the one recovering from thirty-eight hours of labour while caring for a newborn who screamed through every waking hour.
And now some Gotham hooligan had smashed the windows on your car. They hadn’t taken anything, luckily, but the thought of someone invading the space where you put your baby disgusted you.
Maybe you should get it cleaned once you get a new job.
If you ever do.
Money would be the death of you, and poor Kali would have to live with it.
You needed to pull yourself together.
You pulled into the run down shop waiting for the owner to open the garage door. You were met with silence for 5 minutes and you tried your best not to doze off.
Should you have booked an appointment?
you were really just a mess.
The painful creek of the garage door could only give you a second of relief before kali started screaming even louder.
Lord.
It was like you were killing her.
The man you assumed was the owner stood behind your car as you pulled in glaring intensely at the baby through the window.
You hoped he wouldn’t make a big deal of the crying. But it looked like he already was.
It was only when you got out of the car that you could get a good look at him. He was impossible not to notice. Broad shoulders, scarred forearms and dark hair that looked like it hadn't seen a comb all day.
Under different circumstances you would be flustered, he was very attractive and you were very lonely. But you were too tired to feel anything but exhaustion.
Plus it wasn’t like you had much of a chance l, with your bare face and unwashed hair. Hell, you were wearing the same tracksuit you’d slept in.
Whatever, the last thing you needed right now was a man.
“Hi um, im sorry if this is a bad time, I know I didn’t book an appointment, but um,”
“We don’t do appointments sweetheart. What’s the issue?”
His voice was gruff, husky and it sent a shiver down your spine.
“It’s the front windows,they’ve been..um smashed”
“I can see that”
The man scaled the car and then bent down to open the hood. You hobbled around him, peering over his shoulder and pretending you knew what the hell you were looking at.
He looked up at you raising an eyebrow
“Your baby okay?”
Fuck, Kali had been screaming and you were just calmly inquiring about your car. Gosh, he probably thought you were a terrible mother.
“Sorry yeah, she-uh has colic, so um, she won’t stop. She’s fine but I’ll just take her out so you can look at the car.”
You opened the door reaching carefully into the back seat.
“hey baby, your okay”
Kali’s tiny face was bright red, her fists were clenched so tightly, you wondered how something so small could hold so much emotion.
As soon as you lifted her into your arms, she instinctively curled into your shoulder, but the crying didn’t stop.
“I’m sorry” you murmured to both the mechanic and the baby.
“She’s been like this all week, I’m happy to wait outside until your done”
He turned didn’t even look up from the car, replying without skipping a beat.
“Don’t apologise. S’doesn’t bother me.”
Your face involuntarily flushed. His words were blunt but his tone wasnt cruel, more matter of fact.
For a few minutes, only the sounds of rattling tools and Kali’s cries filled the garage.
You bounced Kali gently on your hip to soothe her, but the motion only brought a sharp pain, reminding you that your body still hadn’t recovered from giving birth.
Everyone said that three months would be enough. But the way you were going you don’t think you’d ever recover.
Kali was worth it all. You would do it a thousand times again for her.
“I’m Jason”
The man said suddenly, looking up from the engine.
You gave him your name, with a small bashful smile.
“How old is she?”
“Uh three and a half months”
“Hm”
That was all he said. And for some reason, you appreciated the silence, over the sympathy or advice that everyone else had given you.
“Engines all good, just the windows. I’ll order you some glass.”
That had to be costly. A sharp feeling of dread twisted in your gut.
“How much would that be?”
“About $700, including instillation costs”
Seven hundred dollars.
You looked to the floor, trying to mentally add the figure to your budget. But between medical bills, rent and utilities, it wasn’t looking good.
If you fixed your car, there was no way you could afford groceries. Especially with formula prices these days.
Your eyes immediately started to burn.
“Is everything alright?”
You laughed, it was a terrible sound, hollow and exhausted.
“Yeah um it’s just, I don’t think I can afford that”
You looked down towards your feet.
“I’m really sorry for wasting your time, how much do I owe you for the check up?”
He studied you for a moment before looking at Kali, who was still crying softly into your shoulder.
“You can’t drive it like that, it’s dangerous.”
“You’re right. I can’t.”
You sniffled looking anywhere but his face so he couldn’t see the way your eyes were watering. You blinked back the tears.
“I’ll figure it out thank-”
He cut you off before you could continue.
“I’ll sort it”
“Wha- I can’t”
“Free of charge”
Your eyes widened.
“I’m not letting you do that.”
“I wasn’t asking”
No. You refused to be indebted to another person. He seemed like a nice guy, but who knows what he’ll ask of you knowing you owed him.
“No. I’m sorry I can’t”
You were crying now, and it was stupid it was all so stupid.
You unlocked your car fixing Kali into her seat before Jason spoke again.
“Ma’am I’m sorry I didn’t mean to upset you.”
“It’s fine it’s not you. I’m-just- it’s me.”
“What about a discount? I can’t let you drive home like this.”
You just couldn’t accept his help. It felt wrong, like you were a failure.
But you desperately needed it.
“How much?”
You squeaked, your voice barely audible.
“$250.”
You frowned. Jason wiped his hands on a rag, completely unbothered.
“That’s no where near $700”
“It’s what your paying”
“You’ll lose money.”
He looked at you like that was the dumbest thing you had ever said.
“It won’t break the bank sweetheart, I’ll be okay.”
You closed your eyes trying your best not to burst out in tears. Again
“Thank you.”
His lips turned upwards in what looked like the beginning of a smile.
“Really. Thank you. This helps me and Kali so much you don’t even understand.”
“S’nothing. Glad to help.”
You smiled. This was possibly the only win you had this week, or this year.
-
When you walked into the hallway of your building, you realised there were shoes in front of the apartment next door.
Man shoes.
Great, that meant that it was time to browse for a new house.
You had almost gotten evicted because of Kali’s crying last month, thankfully the landlord had some sympathy and gave you some time to figure it out. The neighbour moved before you could.
Unlocking the door, you put Kali down in her high chair making her some dinner. You couldn’t breastfeed, because of the state you were in after the birth. Too weak.
And so you never started. Would’ve been easier though. Cheaper that’s for sure.
After feeding Kali you put her in her crib, and to some miracle she fell asleep immediately. You almost started crying in relief.
You had so much you needed to do, but you passed out before you could even think about it. Better you sleep now and worry later.
Though your peace didn’t last long, only three hours later you were woken up by screaming.
There was no way this was normal.
You gently reached for the baby, checking her diaper, and trying to soothe her, when you felt a spell of dizziness.
Right, you hadn’t eaten.
Rocking Kali in your arms you opened your cupboards, empty, to no one’s surprise. You eventually settled on a can of beans, which you ate once the baby finally calmed down.
You decided you’d go to the grocery store tomorrow, you just needed some milk and you could maybe bake a batch of sub-par cookies. Hopefully they’ll be good enough to make sure your neighbour doesn’t complain.
You fell asleep thinking about it. Hopefully if imagined having an understanding neighbour, it would happen.
Well he hadn’t complained so far.
-
The next morning, after your little outing to the store, you started on the cookies, it took longer than it should have, between tending to the baby, and cleaning up here and there. But by midday you were finished and decided to deliver them before they got cold.
Once the baby was napping you stepped outside, nerves twisting in your gut. Surely he would at least appreciate the gesture.
You knocked on the door taking a step back, and trying to quell your nerves.
But when the door opened, to your shock you saw Jason. The mechanic.
He looked just a nice as yesterday, in a grey tracksuit and hoodie. He looked more human somehow.
“Oh it’s you. Hi”
“Hi”
He replied, leaning against the doorframe.
“I made these for you, to apologise for the noise last night, but I guess I don’t really have to explain”
“You don’t.”
He paused looking around seemingly for Kali.
“You also didn’t have to.”
“Yes I did, especially now that I know it’s you.”
“It was nothing”
Furrowed your eyebrows
“Well it wasn’t to me”
The corners of his mouth lifted into a smug sort of smile.
“I’m not here most nights so no need to apologise.”
You almost jumped in joy. You didn’t have to find a new house. And you had somehow found a sane neighbour. He might even be better than having no neighbour.
Your luck was finally turning.
“Well still. She cries all hours of the day, and you have to sleep sometime.”
Jason didn’t reply, you had begun to understand him a little. He didn’t speak unless he needed to, and even then it was short, blunt replies no more than two or three words.
Maybe you’d get more out of him as you got to know him.
Jason looked down at the plate before taking it. You felt nerves twist in your gut.
“Don’t expect anything special..I didn’t have much”
“Smells special. Chocolate chip?”
You felt heat rising to your cheeks.
“Mostly.”
“Mostly?”
“I ran out of chocolate halfway through”
He let out a low hum, like he understood, or maybe even was amused.
“Resourceful”
You grinned at that, looking shyly to the floor.
“More like broke, but I appreciate it.”
The second it left your mouth you wished you could take it back.
The last thing you wanted was his pity.
In fact, you were hoping you could be friends. It would be nice to talk to someone who wasn’t a baby.
Though somehow he seemed entirely unbothered by the statement, in fact he even seemed entertained.
“They’ll still taste good.”
“How do you know? You haven’t even tried it?”
“Gotta feelin”
His answer was so fast that it caught a smile out of you.
God.
You couldn’t remember the last time someone had made you smile without trying.
A tiny cry drifted out from your apartment.
It’s like she could sense your joy
“Sorry that’s-“
“The boss”
You blinked
“Sounds like the boss is awake.”
He continued with a little proud look on his face.
You chuckled at the sight.
“Well thank you again for yesterday”
He gave you a swift nod
“Don’t mention it.”
“I mean it. I won’t forget it”
“I know, just don’t forget to pick it up on Friday.”
You smiled.
“I won’t, thank you Jason!”
Jason watched you hobble back to your apartment and waited until he heard the door click shut.
It was only then that he looked down to the plate in his hand.
He unwrapped it.
The cookies were.. questionable.
Some were slightly darker than others, and they were all incredibly flat, like pancakes.
He chose the ugliest one.
Bit into it.
He took a second trying to decide if he liked it or not.
They were actually weren’t bad.
He reached for another without a second thought.
After having his fair share of cookies he placed them on the kitchen bench and glanced at the shared wall.
The baby’s cries filtered faintly through it.
He frowned, they sounded different than they had at the mechanic shop.
Shorter, sharper.
Almost like she was uncomfortable.
Damian had colic when he was younger, he remembered not knowing what to do with him.
It was hell, and he wasn’t even his mother.
He wondered if you had someone to help you. He noticed you didn’t wear a wedding ring, and he hadn’t heard anyone come past.
He really hoped you weren’t alone.
The sound of his phone buzzing brought him out of his thoughts.
Dick: Family dinner tonight, Damian is asking for you.
Jason typed back with one hand
Jason: working.
Dicks icon flashed on his screen. He declined the call turning off his phone.
From the other side of the wall Kali had finally stopped crying.
Jason found himself hoping that they were both asleep.
-
When Friday rolled around you found your self excited to leave the house.
You had seen Jason in bits and pieces over the past week, having small conversations whenever you’d see each other.
You started to really enjoy his company.
He just made you feel sane for once.
You stood infront of the mirror trying to tame your hair with damp hands. After five minutes of struggle you decided it would just be easier to let it down. If you couldn’t get it to work now, you weren’t gonna.
You fit Kali in her favourite little cream knitted onesie, pulling the matching hat over her wispy locks.
Her hair was a colour that didn’t run in your family. You had to assume it came from her father. The thought made you cringe.
You loved it because it was her. Not him. You reminded yourself.
“There”
You smiled tapping her nose
“Now you look prettier than me”
Kali rewarded you with a sleepy little coo.
Your heart melted.
That was definitely a lot better than crying.
-
The door creaked as you stepped inside. You were immediately greeted with the scent of grease and oil.
You cringed gently pressing Kali’s face into your shirt.
Jason was underneath a truck only his legs showing another mechanic greeted you from the reception desk.
“Hey gorgeous can I help you?”
You flushed at the pet name
“I’m here to pick up my car”
Before the man could answer Jason was right infront of you.
“I got it.”
He wiped the grease off his hands on a rag before nodding at Kali.
“Nice hat”
You looked down at her smiling.
“Thanks”
“I didn’t mean yours”
You laughed
“I figured.”
The other mechanic looked between you too with raised eyebrows.
Jason ignored him.
“Just give me a sec”
He disappeared into the office.
The other mechanic leaned back on his chair, a painful groan filling the air.
“Didn’t ever think I’d see Jay smiling”
You blinked
“He smiles?”
The man laughed
“Exactly”
Jason appeared Back from the room holding a piece of paper.
He handed it to you.
An invoice.
$250
You stared at it.
He really had kept the price the same.
“Again, I’m happy to cover it”
You rolled your eyes
“I think a $450 dollar discount is enough”
You pulled your wallet from your bag.
Two hundred
Twenty
Fifty
2 tens
A five
Two more fifties
And an another five.
All the cash you had before your final pay check.
You slid the notes into his hand.
Jason didn’t bother counting them, just waved the keys in Kali’s face.
She let out a little giggle.
You tried not the cry at the sound.
You took them.
“I can’t thank you enough Jason, really.”
He gave a short nod.
“Come take a look”
You followed him outside.
Your car looked…
Normal.
The new windows glistened in the sun, it was cleaned and polished.
There was no more glass in the seats.
You let out a laugh of astonishment.
“You cleaned it.”
“Had glass everywhere.”
Your brows furrowed
“You didn’t have to do that.”
“S’where the kid sits”
Your throat tightened.
He’d thought about Kali.
You tried not to cry.
“Jason…”
“It’s done, you have to take it”
You were gonna cry. You were gonna cry for the second time in this stupid store. You were in his debt. Greatly.
“I don’t know how to thank you.”
“You already did”
“The cookies?”
He nodded.
“They were good”
“I don’t believed you”
“Finished them in a day, had to hide them from my brothers”
“You don’t have to lie”
“I’m not”
His face was completely serious. You burst out into laughter.
“I genuinely cant tell when you’re joking.”
He frowned.
“I’m not”
That only made you laugh harder.
Jason watched you for a second.
A small genuine smile etched onto his face.
It was so cute.
“You should smile more.”
It left you before you could even think. Jason’s smile disappeared instantly.
“Why?”
You shrugged
“I don’t know it suits you.”
He looked away his ears going a subtle shade of red.
“Hmph”
You immediately regretted saying it.
“Sorry”
“You apologise too much”
He blurted, Kali let a squeak from her carrier.
“Boss agrees”
You giggled.
“Shush both of you.”
-
When Jason got home from his shift it was nearing 4:00am.
He was exhausted.
And worse.
He couldn’t stop thinking of you.
He felt a strange sense of protectiveness around you that he couldn’t understand.
He kept listening for the baby near the walls. Though he had heard it less lately. She had been sleeping more.
Jason groaned.
He needed to stop.
It was none of his business.
He decided he need a distraction. His bike was perfect for that. He 100% wasn’t allowed to have it in here, but the scrawny landlord was too scared to say anything when he carried it in.
As soon as he began he was interrupted by two frantic knocks on the door.
He already knew who it was.
“Jacey open up”
Dick.
Jason reluctantly opened the door. Dick stood there holding a takeaway bag.
“Why didn’t you pick up my calls?”
Jason nodded to the bike raising his eyebrows at Dick.
“Busy”
Dick gave him a skeptical glare
“Clearly”
He walked through the door, slamming into Jason’s shoulder in the process.
He let out a huff.
“You know you tell me your fine, but a fine person would reply to my texts”
Jason scoffed.
“I did.”
“Working.”
“I was”
Dick fell back onto the couch, pulling a burger out of his bag.
Jason tolerated Dick but he couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being tested. That Dick would take one look at the unpacked boxes, and the barely organised furniture and report it back to Bruce.
Maybe he was just paranoid.
“You move in okay?”
“Mhm”
Dick kicked his feet up on the table.
“You know we can afford to get you into a better apartment. This place is a shithole at best.”
Jason huffed, Dick wasn’t wrong. But he hated cushy. What was the point of having some mansion when he spent more time at the shop anyways.
He liked the noise too. It relaxed him in a way the manor never did.
“I like it”
Dick laughed, throwing the rubbish from his food at him.
“Hey who am I to yuck your yum?”
A shrill cry echoed from behind the walls
Dick cringed.
Jason didn’t.
“Baby neighbour?”
“Mhm” jason hummed in between bites of his burger.
“Cute”
Jason shrugged.
“Very loud.”
“Parents seem alright?”
Jason paused, thinking of what to say without giving too much away.
“Just the mom”
Dick noticed his hesitance immediately.
“You’ve actually spoken to her”
Jason tried to act like he hadn’t been thinking about you right before he had arrived.
“She was a customer.”
“And?”
“That’s it.”
It was the truth as much as he didn’t like it. Though, Dick didn’t look too convinced.
“And somehow you know she lives alone?”
Jason shot him a look.
“Ive got eyes”
Dicks grin widened, he had a look on his face like he had won the lottery. Jason couldn’t stand it.
“What?”
“Nothing”
“Just say it so I can kick you out.”
“You like helping strays”
Jason rolled his eyes. What the hell did that even mean? He didn’t like that word, stray. If anything you were taking him in.
“Shes not a stray.”
“No?”
“No.”
His smile widened if that was even possible. Jason was disgusted at the sight.
“What is it now?”
“Nothing. Just, you seem pretty defensive over a customer”
Jason rolled his eyes.
“Get out.”
-
The apartment was quiet for once.
Usually you’d take that opportunity to sleep but you needed to finally face your financial dilemma.
You needed to find a job.
Scrolling through the possible workplaces you couldn’t find anything that suited you.
Waitress
You couldn’t be on your feet for that long.
Data analyst
What?
Personal assistant
Maybe
You saved the tab for that one
You were brought out of your search by a knock on the door.
You froze.
Please don’t let it be the landlord, please.
Oh.
Standing in your doorway was, Jason, holding a stack of pizzas.
He scratched the back of his head before speaking.
“Hi”
“Hi”
You replied, eyes flicking in between him and the food.
“My idiot brothers ordered 12 pizzas to my house as some sort of prank, I was wondering if you were hungry?”
You let out a hearty laugh.
You couldn’t remember the last time you had a real meal. Living off of various canned food and toast.
Your mouth watered at the thought of pizza.
“What toppings?”
He sighed at that his brows furrowing.
“The fuckers only put olives”
You burst out in laughter at that. It wasn’t just the prank, it was more so the astonished look on his face.
“What? how can you not like olives?”
“Well I can’t get through 12 pizzas on my own so take them.”
He pushed the boxes into your arms and you took them stepping to the side. Couldn’t hurt.
“Did you want to come in?”
He paused giving you a curious look.
“As long as it’s ok with the boss”
You grinned.
“Shes asleep. So as long as she stays that way, we’re fine”
He paused like he was pondering saying something before he spoke.
“Haven’t heard her cry in a minute, been doing better?”
You tried not to cling to the tone in his voice. He just sounded like he cared.
“She definitely still cries, but yeah, better”
You leaned into him like you were gonna tell him a secret.
“And get this, she slept through the night last night. It was beautiful”
His eyebrows rose, as an almost celebratory grin etched onto her face.
“You gotta watch out for her, you may be raising the next Batman.”
You laughed.
“If shes anything like her mother, not happening.”
You made a gesture for him to come in and he followed you into the kitchen, looking around the crowded apartment.
“Sorry it’s not very clean”
That was a lie, it was actually the cleanest it had been in a while.
“Cleaner than mine”
“I don’t believe that”
He scoffed.
“It’s true”
He took a second sitting down in your dining room. The sight was almost comical. He looked like an action figure in a dollhouse. Hunched over to fit into the small chair.
“I’ll get some plates”
“You don’t have to”
“I want to”
You rummaged through the cupboards before producing two similar-ish plates.
“Sorry”
“For what?”
“They don’t match”
He chuckled, looking between the plates.
“They’re plates”
“You always so practical?”
He thought about it for a second before shrugging
“Mostly”
You snorted looking down at the pizzas
“You serve yourself because I don’t know how much you eat”
He chuckled at that
“I think I could eat the whole thing, minus the olives”
“Maybe 12 was an understatement from your brothers then”
He rolled his eyes at that.
“Don’t remind me, what am I gonna do with all this food?”
He paused, a smirk etching onto his features.
“You think big boss can help us?”
You started laughing at that.
“Pizza infused formula sounds pretty good to me”
He cringed, opening his mouth to say something before your stomach cut him off with a loud growl.
You froze heat rising to your cheeks
Jason looked up.
“I skipped lunch.”
And breakfast, but you kept that to yourself.
He nodded in understanding before putting half the pizza on your plate.
“Eat.”
You smiled ripping off a piece, but before you could take a bite, a loud wailing sound rang out from your bedroom.
“Opps sorry, one second”
You sprang up a little too quickly, the room tilted in response.
You hand shot to the back of Jason’s chair to steady yourself.
He was already on his feet
“You okay?”
“Yeah.”
You weren’t. Gosh. You needed to get a hold of yourself. He probably thought you were the biggest mess.
“Just got up too fast”
He frowned.
“Are you sure?”
You nodded.
“I’m okay, you don’t need to worry about me”
You forced a smiled, though the look on his face told you he wasn’t convinced.
But before he could say anything else, Kali let out another cry, a louder one. And you quickly stumbled into her room.
Jason watched you disappear down the hallway. Once you were gone, his eyes drifted to the kitchen.
Sitting beside the sink was your pantry you had left open.
His eyes lingered on the shelf.
Salt.
Canned corn.
Instant noodles
Two cans of formula.
And half a loaf of bread.
Jason realised then.
She didn’t skip lunch.
She didn’t have it.
His chest tightened.
18+ MDNI i'm ovulating! :: simon riley x fem!reader
ever since you and your husband, simon, decided to have children, you've been on each other nonstop, fucking on every surface in the house and knocking over several expensive items while lost in the heat of the moment. doesn't matter. he'll replace them with the ungodly amount of money he has in his account.
he'd bend you over the counter every time he finds you in the kitchen cooking, a thin sundress hugging all your delicious curves just right, images of your swollen belly flooding his mind, full and round with his seed. the food is forgotten every single time. only you and putting a baby in you on his mind.
he'd fold you in half when you're in bed reading, wearing only a tank top that gives him easy access to your tits and leaves your belly exposed and a pair of shorts that accentuates your perky ass. he'd tear them off you and put your legs over his shoulders as he splits you wide open for him.
he finds you absolutely irresistible in every state. you know it as a fact. it bleeds over in his every word and action. yet it doesn't make your worries go away. still, your mind wanders. would he ever get tired?
you push the thoughts away. a feral need bubbling inside you as you think about your husband, his scarred lips on your hot skin, bulky weight pressing you into the mattress as his burly arms cage your body beneath him, broad shoulders holding your legs beside your ears, a large rough hand wrapped around your throat while he's buried to the hilt inside you.
you're ovulating. and you need him right now. so you call him. "si, i need you." and he's on his way. doesn't matter that he's on base in an important meeting. he's leaving right away, ignoring price's shouts of protest. he'll understand when simon tells him later. his wife needs him. and there's nothing more important than that.
you're pouncing on him as soon as he walks through the door. he catches you with ease as you wrap your legs around his waist, kissing him with an untamed desperation.
"sorry, si. i know it was important—"
"doesn't matter, love."
"by the way, i'm ovulating."
"bloody hell, woman. lead with that next time."
immediately, your mouths are on each other, lips and tongues latching onto one another, kissing, nipping, biting every part of skin you can find, covering in saliva and marking each other, hot and heavy, your hands moving desperately across the other's body to grab every piece of flesh.
you're discarding each other's clothes when you mention it. breathing shakily as your movements subside, looking away from his intense eyes, you finally tell him.
"si, i'm worried that it becomes a chore."
he stops.
looking you over, an expression of utter disbelief takes over his face.
"a chore?" he finally speaks, voice laced with subtle mockery.
you look into his eyes for a moment, only to shy away again and look down.
he guides you to lay back on the bed as he hovers above you.
leaning in, dangerously close, his lips graze yours. he grabs your jaw to make you look at him, eyes darkened as he speaks in a deep voice.
"you think fuckin my wife is a chore for me?"
you don't dare to respond.
his lips capture yours briefly, only to slide down to your jaw, then your neck, coating your skin in a string of saliva as he glides down to your collarbone, tracing its line with his lips as his hands find your breasts, squeezing as if it's a warning to your previous words, his calloused skin a delicious contrast on your silky smooth one that makes you go wild. his lips wrap around your hard nipples, sucking and licking as you moan softly for him. he chuckles at your reaction, causing heat to spread across your cheeks.
he grabs your hips, kissing your exposed belly and covering the expanse of it with his hand, gently touching as he thinks about filling you up, all soft and swollen with his seed growing inside you. his hard cock throbs at the mere thought of it, dripping precum onto the sheets as his hips jerk forward involuntarily and he humps the mattress.
his lips reach your mound and he stops just above your slit, lifting himself up on his hands. his adoring eyes marvel at your beauty, drinking in the literal work of art splayed out before him. his pupils are blown out, eyes completely black as he looks at you and leans in, rough fingertips sliding up and down your wet slit, spreading your arousal along your folds.
"you think i'd ever get tired of this pussy?"
you gulp audibly. his hot breath fanning against your lips, he cups your pussy with one large hand, his middle finger sliding through your folds and teasing your entrance.
you gasp. "please, si..."
you grasp his shoulders in a desperate hold as he goes on teasing you.
"please what, darling?"
a sly smirk spreads across his face, only adding to your frustration.
"please. i need you inside me, si." you beg, "please, si. need your cock so bad."
in that moment, he thinks you're the most beautiful you've ever been, pleading so sweetly for him, sprawled out beneath him like an offering, all for him to take.
his lips are on yours in an instant, spreading your legs further apart and pushing your knees to your chest before propping them over his shoulders.
he slides into you so easily, your soaking wet pussy ready to take him in, thick throbbing cock splitting your needy cunt open. his lips never leave yours as he lets out a groan into your mouth, mixing with your whiny moans as you're all stretched out by his fat cock.
"fuck! look at this greedy pussy," he breathes in between kisses, bottoming out inside you, "so fuckin wet and desperate for me."
giving you no time to adjust, he starts thrusting in and out ferociously, yet with the meticulous precision of a man on a mission.
"fuckin swallowing me whole, baby." he grunts, "like you were made for me."
his relentless assault on your needy cunt leaves no room for you to breathe, only choked out moans slipping through your lips.
"fuuuck, siiii.... ahhh—"
"fuckin pussy was made for me." he groans in your ear, "made for me to fuck. all mine. forever."
his strong hips slam into you, heavy balls slapping your ass repeatedly as your wet pussy squelches to accommodate his hefty size. the obscene sound echoing through the room.
"gonna breed this pretty pussy, love." he hisses, "so fuckin tight f’me. so, so lovely. "
your hands run across his muscular back and biceps, nails raking over his skin as you lose your mind entirely in an overwhelming state of bliss.
you're a fucked out mess, your hair splayed all over the pillows, skin dampened with beads of sweat, eyes squeezed shut in pleasure and mouth falling agape with broken moans as your husband ruins you.
"fuckin look at you, love." he says, " you're so fuckin beautiful."
"siii, please— ahh..."
"i know, baby. i know. let it out. let me hear you."
of course you obey, letting him hear your desperate moans as you beg him to fill you up.
"you think i'd ever get tired of this?" he says, delivering a particularly sharp thrust that knocks the air out of your lungs, "think again, sweetheart."
he reaches over, large hand wrapping around your throat, not squeezing, just holding in a secure grip. his eyes are fixated on yours, darkened with lust, yet filled with an unspoken sincerity.
"tell me what you want, love. want me to breed you? huh?"
"yes— yesss plsss sii ahh— fill me up... breed me"
a familiar sensation starts approaching, a tightness coiling inside your belly, your moans and whimpers turning higher, walls growing tighter around him, signaling him that you're close.
"let go for me, baby. cum on my cock."
he's fucking you so vigorously your head spins wildly, fat tip reaching far deep inside you and slapping against your spongy cervix over and over again.
in less than a moment, you're flooded with an all-consuming sense of pure ecstasy, screaming his name as your muscles convulse and shake beneath him, your soaked cunt clamping down on him and creaming around his shaft.
"that's it, love. give it to me. good girl." he groans, "so fuckin tight, baby... ahh— gonna milk me dry."
his thrusts turn faster and shallow as he reaches his peak. he holds your trembling body tighter and fucks you through your high as his own orgasm approaches. a deep growl escapes his throat as he empties his balls inside you. it's filthy how much he cums. loads and loads of thick white cum painting your womb, his seed filling you up to the brim, plugged up by his cock still seated inside you. and he hopes that it will finally take this time.

And what, pray tell, is so wrong with that? Must a king lower himself to the vocabulary of insects? Must an academiac explain his reasoning to kindergartners? There is no shame in knowledge nor is there in verbosity. Quite the opposite, they are to be celebrated. But I guess this is the world we are forced to inhabit. This world... This planet, teeming with life and all its infinite possibilities. And you would dare dilute it, so that a simpleton's mind could comprehend it? I will not stand for this. Thinking about ghost who loves fat!reader...
You know he loves you, there's no secret about that. Ghost is far too blunt and uncaring to put up an act. Still...you notice how underneath the fat he's all muscle and strength and fit. Underneath your fat it's just...fat.
"Lovie? Wots wrong? Yer not eating yer food." Ghost narrows his eyes on his first night back from a two month op.
You've made his favorite, the exact meal you cooked on your first date together. Rich, creamy pasta and buttery garlic bread. You don't touch it, despite how much you want to, despite loading ghost's plate up with two servings.
Instead, you pick at the salad you've come to hate over the past weeks, and mumble "I'm uh...I'm trying to lose some weight, si."
"Huh?!" Ghost gasps, sounding absolutely devastated. "Why would you do that, love? What's wrong, did I do something??"
"What– no!" You flush, avoiding ghosts face even when he takes your hands, "it's just...isn't it embarrassing? Walking around with me when you look so good? I hear what people say..."
People astonished that someone as hot as ghost would take pity on an ugly, fat thing like you. With your double chin and belly that hangs out of nearly every pair of jeans you own.
Ghost, he makes an absolutely wounded noise.
"Embarrassed? Fuck, no lovie. Do y'know how 'ard it is keeping my hands to myself in public?" Ghost grunts, doesn't hesitate to walk around the table and kneel by your seat, looking reverent up at you "how much i want to just leave it all behind and move away with you? How i think about you, all of you, during bad missions?"
Ghost moves the salad out of the way like it personally offended him, spoons that delicious pasta and your favorite amount of sauce onto a plate instead. "I want you, got it? C'mon, eat. Need yer energy before I eat you tonight."
That makes your face burn with more than just tears. So you eat, and god is it good. Ghost smiles with every bite, happy to share this moment with you, happy to keep you fed, happy to have you.
cw: cheating, bad relationship, Soap x reader, Simon Riley x reader, yearning Simon, asshole Soap.
When Johnny first started bragging about his new missus to the team, Simon didn't think much of it.
With Soap, new girls came and went. This one shouldn't have been any different. That should've been the end of it.
Simon couldn't have given less of a shit.
But this one seemed different.
____ always looked so unhappy around Johnny.
Like the first time Simon met her.
Johnny had introduced her as his girl.
Few drinks later, she gently tugged at Soap's sleeve as the music changed.
"One dance?" Johnny didn't even look at her.
"Nah. Not in the mood, doll."
Simon simply watched from the other side of the room. He wasn't the dancing type either.
Hell. He'd probably step on her feet every ten seconds.
But if dancing meant wiping that sad little look off her face…
He would've become fucking Michael Jackson.
She'd visit the base every now and then just to make sure Johnny had properly eaten.
Always carrying a bento box.
Rice. Meat. Vegetables.
Enough food to feed half the bloody task force.
Sometimes she'd bring sweets for the whole team, too.
The moment she left, Johnny popped the lid open.
"Tch. Don't like this."
Without a second thought, he shoved the whole thing across the table.
"Anyone wants it?" Simon frowned.
The fuck?!
Simon would never do that.
Never.
If she had made that lunch for him…
He would've eaten every last grain of rice.
Hell, he'd lick the damn container clean before letting somebody else touch it.
Days kept passing, and Johnny kept running his fucking mouth.
Complaining.
Rolling his eyes whenever her name came up.
Like loving her was somehow an inconvenience.
How she wanted to dance.
How she always worried if he'd eaten.
How she texted him good morning every single day.
Then came the night at the bar.
Simon hadn't meant to look. Johnny didn't care enough to hide it.
One hand around another woman's waist.
Then..
...a kiss.
What the fuck was wrong with him?!
How could anybody cheat on such a perfect bird like ____?
If she were his… He would've thanked every God willing to listen just for letting her choose him.
Still. As furious as it made him…
That wasn't what finally broke him.
It happened back at base.
Johnny started talking about his first time with the missus.
"She's always asking for kisses. Wants hugs all the bloody time." The whole room laughed. Simon looked up from the paperwork in front of him.
"And don't even get me started on sex. She keeps trying to make it all romantic while I'm just trying to stick it in—" Johnny never got to finish that sentence.
The lieutenant's fist broke his nose before anyone even realized he'd moved.
"THE FUCK, RILEY?!" Blood poured down Johnny's face while he stumbled back, holding his nose. The room fell dead silent.
"I'm taking the missus away from you."
"You what?"
"Heard me."
Without another word, he turned around and walked out of the base.
Somehow, he ended up standing outside their apartment.
He wasn't even sure how he'd gotten there.
He just knew he'd started driving.
Now he was here.
"Oh… You're Johnny's teammate, right?" She smiled politely.
"…Yeah."
"What brings you he—"
"You know he's cheating."
Her smile faded.
"You already knew. You're not stupid." She didn´t answer. Didn´t have to.
Simon clenched his jaw.
"…Take me instead." She blinked.
"…Excuse me?"
"Take me instead of that fucking asshole."
"You don't even know me."
"I know enough." She looked away.
"I'd treat you better. The way you deserve." She turned to stare at him.
"…Why?"
For the first time that night… Simon hesitated.
Then he didn´t.
"I'd never make you beg."

I know I can treeat youu beetterr, than he can...!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Please give me a Simon Riley like right now ToT
The team has been trying to help Simon get better at flirting.
It started off with Johnny noticing how Simon’s gaze often lingered on you, the newest truck loader.
Then he blabbered it off to the entire team. So yeah— Simon may have banged his head against the wall in his quarters and slept that night thinking about choking Johnny.
But here he was, after a long day of being convinced to talk to you.
You had just finished unloading the last truck of the day and what better time to talk to you than now?
“You gotta be confident and bold with your words, L.T.” Kyle’s words.
“No, you have t’ be funny. Make ‘em laugh.” Johnny’s words.
“If all things fail, just ask ‘em for coffee.” John’s words.
Simon took in a deep breath and smiled (the best he could. He doesn’t smile often). You didn’t even catch it either; he was wearing his damn balaclava. “You just started working, yeah?” he asks, stuffing his hands into his vest. Confident, check.
You took off your gloves and patted your sweaty forehead with your arm, “mhm! About two-ish months ago,” you tell the older man, giving him a polite smile.
A quiet hum fell from Simon’s lips as he rocks on his heels a bit, “Once saw y’ trippin’ over a box,” Simon says bluntly. Funny, check.
You stared at him, blinking twice and half expecting him to finish his sentence.
He didn’t.
Instead, the two of you had a staring contest while Simon’s face burned behind the balaclava.
“You can trip on me,” Simon suddenly adds. Funny and bold… check?
Your brows knitted a bit, “what…?” you ask with an awkward laugh.
Fuck.
This wasn’t going how he imagined it to go. He imagined him coolly leaning against a wall or something while complimenting you.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
“Do you have coffee?” Simon changes the topic, his entire face blowing up with steam.
Off to the side, John stared at his teammate with a heavy sigh and rubbed his temple. “Bloody idiot asked for coffee,” he mumbles.
Kyle shrugs a bit, “T’ be fair, you did say to ask for coffee,” he says, defending his lieutenant.
“Implying to ask for a coffee date,” John replies bluntly. “Fuckin’ disaster of a man.”
Warnings: praise kink, hand pinning, sex while a literal crime is happening outside, reckless vigilante behavior, inspired by a scene in Narcos, MDNI a/n: I fear Jason would actually do this in one of his more deranged moods. The others are probably more willing to leave you high and dry, finish the job, and come back later. Jason knows Bruce raised enough children to cover his ass.
Jason Todd is probably one of the few vigilantes who would rather finish what he started with you than rush off to help with the burning building caused by a car explosion a few streets away.
Don't start thinking that Jason doesn't care about Gotham. He loves Gotham, actually. Enough that the city has shaved years off his life and been the reason for his demise more than once. But does he care enough to pull out of the sweet, velvety walls of your pussy?
No, actually.
Bruce raised enough Bat-children for that particular reason.
You tried to get up when the first blast rattled the windows, but Jason was far faster. One broad hand caught both of your wrists and pinned them above your head while the other dragged your ankle to its rightful place over his shoulder, rough fingers curling around your calf as he settled his weight over you again.
"Jason, you have to go. What even was that?"
"Car bomb," he practically purred, pushing the leaky tip of his cock back into your pussy like the explosion had been nothing more than a minor interruption.
You tried to form a protest. Really, you did. But your protest amounted to little more than slapping one of his biceps when he cooed about how wet you were for him. His hips moved in slow, lazy strokes, making it increasingly difficult to remember the rest of the lecture you had prepared for him.
Another siren screamed somewhere outside, followed by the distant crackle of fire and shouting. Red and blue light flashed through the broken blinds of his safehouse, moving over Jason's naked body in restless streaks. It illuminated the sweat running between his pecs and caught in the pale scars scattered across his chest as he folded you deeper beneath him.
His green eyes never left your face, not even when another siren joined the first, while Gotham continued doing what Gotham did best.
Falling apart.
"Y-you need to go, Jay," you insisted, forcing the words between the moans slipping from your lips as he continued hitting that weak spot
"In a minute," he answered with a wink and a firm squeeze around your wrists.
God, Jason could be mean when he wanted to be. Today just happened to be one of those days.
Apparently, a minute meant whenever he was finished pulling every pretty sound he could from your lips, listening to the wet drag of your pussy around his cock whenever he found the spot that curled your toes.
"Couldn't leave you like this. So needy," he muttered against your throat, planting a constellation of kisses along your skin. The scrape of his stubble followed each one, rough enough to leave you warm before his lips soothed over the same spot. "Look at you. So wet for me."
"Jay," you breathed.
His palm pressed against the bulge his cock made low in your stomach, buried so deep inside you that you could barely breathe. You had a perfectly good argument prepared about how wrong it was for him to still be inside you while people were probably panicking in the streets, but then he pushed your leg farther back and rolled his hips again, and suddenly civic responsibility became a very difficult concept to hold on to.
"Gorgeous," he mused against your throat, kissing the hollow beneath your collarbone.
He finally released your hands, only so you could claw at his broad shoulders while he cupped your breasts. Jason muttered under his breath about how soft you were and how perfectly your breasts fit into his palms while you melted beneath him.
"I know, baby." His thumb and forefinger circled your nipple as it budded beneath his touch with a soft tug. "Gotham's falling apart." His teeth grazed your throat, leaving behind a mark that would darken by morning. "It does that every night."
The radio on the floor beside his helmet and your overnight bag had been going off nonstop by then, voices overlapping through bursts of static.
"Red Hood, respond."
Tim.
"Hood, I didn't come to Gotham to pick up after you. Where the hell are you?"
Dick.
Obviously, Jason was far too occupied to turn off the radio or do anything about the situation outside.
His grip around your breast tightened as his thrusts grew harder, matching the desperate movement of your hips. The mattress shifted beneath you while he watched your face with an unbearably smug, yet adoring look.
"Pretty thing," he groaned, eyes falling shut as his dark brows pinched together. He muttered about how close he was before catching your mouth with his. "What if I just let the city burn for you, hm?"
A burst of gunfire cracked through the radio and echoed from two streets down, sharp enough to make you flinch and tighten around his cock. Jason only paused long enough to listen, still toying with your breast as he cocked his head slightly.
"Modified M4," he confirmed against your pout. Another burst followed, as did his hips. "Cheap suppressor, too."
The radio crackled again with several increasingly annoyed demands to know where he was. Jason groaned for an entirely different reason and pressed his forehead against yours. His fingers left your breast and slipped between your bodies, finding your clit with practiced ease.
Your back arched before you could stop it.
"There you go," he praised, his mouth brushing across your cheek. "That's it, dove. Let me feel you."
His roughened thumb moved in slow circles, cruel and steady.
"You gonna come on my cock?" he asked, his voice dropping lower. "That what you need?"
The words kept spilling out between kisses, each one rougher and more desperate than the last.
Then Dick mentioned something about tracking Jason's suit and dragging him out himself.
That finally got a reaction.
Not the reaction Dick wanted, obviously.
Jason hooked an arm around your waist and hauled you upright until you were straddling him, your knees sinking into the mattress on either side of his hips. His hands settled at your waist, thumbs pressing into the soft flesh of your sides as he guided you down again.
"Then we'd better finish before he gets here."
"Jason, I swear to God - "
"Yeah?" His green eyes glinted beneath lowered lashes. "Tell him how good I make you feel."
You made an offended little noise, but Jason only laughed and caught your lower lip between his teeth before kissing you again.
"That's my baby," he murmured, hands tightening around your waist as his thrusts grew meaner beneath you. Chest pressed against yours. The sound of skin hitting skin and all the lewd noises of your cunt filling the room. "So soft. So perfectly made for me. Don't know how you expect me to leave when you feel this good."
Outside, sirens wailed. The radio kept spitting out his name. Red light slid through the blinds while Gotham tried to tear itself apart a few streets away.
"You are genuinely the worst vigilante in Gotham."
"But I'm your favorite," Jason laughed as he pushed himself impossibly deeper.
You could bite, scratch, curse, and remind him that people were literally depending on him, but he answered every protest with another kiss and harsh thrust.
He was not leaving until both of you came.
And even then, Jason Todd had never been particularly good at stopping after one round.
