i do think tim’s insistence on keeping buddie in limbo is hurting the show in that it feels like they’re scrambling for storylines or just throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks meanwhile there’s this huge well of stuff they can’t tap into bc the first domino of it all is buddie

#and unfortunately it’s a fools errand bc those storylines end up feeding buddie #if its about them then its only deepening their bond and highlighting their chemistry #if its about them with others it only makes it more obvious how close they are #and i don’t think it’s bad writing to follow the story where it’s going and it’s even bad writing at some point to insist that it diverge #simply for the sake of not following expectations #911
