i have almost finished giving all my blogs the appropriate makeover to match their new icons and, once i’ve done that, i am going to continue toying with the idea of making amara and jacob pond blogs.
an update on the chaotic inner workings of hope’s mind; i am considering giving lee webb, rowena macleod & . . . yeah, i’m gonna go here even though it’s a new muse; amara, their own blog, as well as creating a saviors sideblog on negan’s account. that’s just my mind right now. what can i say? i am who i am.

＂ YOU ACTUALLY LIVE HERE? ＂ question is asked cautiously, uncertain if she believes. claire has heard all the 𝚛𝚞𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚜. it’s the reason she’s here; hunter instincts pulled almost immediately in by a building with such clear 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, wanting to investigate further. possibly not her smartest idea, but then, she never claimed to be einstein. what she isn’t prepared for, however, is an actual resident making themselves known, and now she’s dealt with the predicament of trying to decipher if this stranger is alive or 𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚍, fingers flexing to resist the urge to reach for weapon just in case. ＂ like . . . 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 - 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵? ‘cause i feel like those are two completely different things. ＂

Annoyance. Aggravation. Acceptance. — The three A’s commonly felt whenever crossing paths with any of the Saviours. For whatever reason that stupid fucking whistle has been following her everywhere as of late, or at least that’s what it feels like. “Every turn I take.” That teeth grinding song comes to mind and she’s quite positive it wouldn’t be above him to belt it out just to get on her nerves, but instead she interjects once more with a heavy sigh to follow. “You’re tracking the Crossroads too, aren’t you?”
＂ HAVEN’T YOU REALISED BY NOW? — we’re everywhere. ＂ that was the beauty, or arguably 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, of the saviors. as they grew in numbers, so did their strength & these days, it’s hard to find any case they aren’t throwing their weight into. magnus can be considered neither the brains or the beauty of the pack. he’s barely part of it at all; a 𝚐𝚛𝚞𝚗𝚝 worker kept around merely as collateral, and yet he still beams with pride, the arrogance in his smirk as he turns to look at her clear. ＂ 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘪𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, ‘specially when it comes to the crossroads. boss seems to have a particular 𝚐𝚛𝚞𝚍𝚐𝚎 with those bastards. ＂
Lily had been keeping her distance for the most part. For multiple reasons. For one, the information of her having a second uncle had only just been relayed to her as he was stood before her; and secondly, because of the knowledge that he was apparently cohabitating his body with an archangel, one which she'd had a rather unpleasant experience with the alternate universe counterpart of in the past. Apparently her family saw no reason to hide who she was to him, so when he began to ask her questions she finally spoke up to him. "Dean," she answered directly, not bothering to offer any more information to the stranger she was still wary of.
＂ THAT WEIRDLY MAKES SENSE. ＂ he doesn’t know his brothers. not really. has been shown little 𝚐𝚕𝚒𝚖𝚙𝚜𝚎𝚜 into their lives here & there; brief appearances that barely count for anything, tied in with whatever tidbits michael whispers in his ear which can’t always be considered 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. however, as unfamiliar as they may be, if he had to look at ‘em and pick the cool sibling? dean ( 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦, 𝘴𝘢𝘮 ) somehow fits that profile. don’t ask him to explain how. hands rub together, an almost anxious movement because truthfully? — adam has 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚘𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚗 how to do this. all those years trapped in the cage with only the devil & yourself, in a manner, to talk to took quite a permanent hit to social abilities. ＂ i mean, i don’t really know him that well, but . . . you two look alike. 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘸𝘭. ＂ head nods a couple of times, as if agreeing with his own statement. ＂ yeah. same scowl. ＂
there is blood risen in rouge and violet tints along the curve of clarie's cheek, evidence of the hunt that could have gone much worse had he not been there when he did. however, that doesn't mean that he doesn't wish that he was there just a few minutes earlier to prevent the rip of her shirt, where claws come too haphazardly close to tender flesh. ben is not without ruinations himself; with purple supernovas blossoming beneath his own eye, and against the column of his neck. though he knows that with time, the violet and the swelling will dilute into nothingness, per his own experiences of being roughed up on hunts. "funny, 'cos i think i've read in that handbook that thou shall not have a stick up one's ass and thank the other hunter for saving her." he grits out the last of the sentence, on the verge of a scowl. "or something like that."
＂ FIRST OF ALL. — you absolutely just made that up on the spot. 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, and secondly? i already told you i didn’t need it. ＂ a defense that she’s apparently willing to go to the grave repeating, even if it isn’t the slightest bit 𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚎. unsatisfied huff abandons lungs as fingers tug at now - torn sleeve, an attempt to see if it’s salvageable. it isn’t. ＂ damnit, this was my favorite jacket. ＂ pause is taken after quiet murmur, another realisation soon washing over. ＂ it’s also my 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐣𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭, so . . . great. ＂ she finally looks at ben, properly looks as opposed to the narrowed - eye glare she previously threw his way, and it’s only then that claire becomes aware of his own injuries. 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘩𝘦𝘳. ＂ are you okay? ＂ it sounds part - genuine, part - demand, because showing any kind of 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚛𝚗 doesn’t come easy to a girl always trying to act so tough.
"Oh I'm sorry, do I not look enthused enough about the idea of you coming home bloodied and bruised? My bad..." she muttered as most of her attention went to gingerly placing a dressing on the small scratch Claire had acquired above her brow. When the bandage was placed she looked Claire back in the eyes, breath caught in her throat slightly at the sight of that smirk that was going to get her in trouble some day. Lily cleared her throat, eyes darting down to clean up the first aid kit as she spoke again, "I understand the hunting. What I don't understand is why you insist on doing it by yourself," she chided, looking back at her, "not even my family does that. And they've been doing this their whole lives."
＂ IT’S NOT EVEN THAT BAD. — i’ve survived a lot worse, y’know. ＂ and somehow she expects loved ones to find 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚝 in that. claire doesn’t mean to cause them stress or concern; it’s just been a long time since she had those 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 around her / the ones that notice when she isn’t there, that panic when they see blood or bruising, or both. 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, the supernatural world found her and somewhere along the line, claire apparently decided to make that everybody’s problem. she forgets that even without mom and dad, there’s still people in her life who worry, only remembering moments like these, when eyes meet, an unexplainable 𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚖𝚝𝚑 that somebody gives a shit washing over. ＂ better that way. don’t need the extra baggage weighing me down. ＂ what blonde means is, she doesn’t need the extra loss. hunting alone also meant not losing anybody else, except maybe herself. ＂ besides, i don’t know if you’ve noticed, but i’m lacking a little in the family department these days. ＂ it’s a little harsh. the people here, at jody’s, that’s 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 now, but guards are up & almost impossible to knock down, except . . . ＂ unless this is your way of asking me to invite you next time. in which case, 𝘪 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯. i bet we’d make a pretty badass team. ＂
his weary and tired eyes show far more signs of age, how much he'd been through since then, and even the ghost of her. “ it ain't exactly like we're livin like the high-life. 'ya know it don't even pay much. ”no it didn’t pay at all the finer things in life were but trivial things, no he had backroads, diners, drive-ins, and dives. more explicitly dive bars. the life wasn’t a stable one, from motel to motel, town to town. thankfully the elder winchester took solace in the confines of the bunker. a proper room of his own & a place a to rest his head at night.
“ nah, i know better by this point. if couldn't persuade 'ya years ago.. ” the elder winchester says with a bit of a dry chuckle, it was a a battle he knew he’d lose and not that he had any right to tell jo whether she can hunt or not. she was strong enough and even grown enough to make that decision, but, he’d be damned if he lets her go it alone. their was a sense of regret that still lingered between them, three years passing, and yet it still didn’t feel any different. the unspoken words between them. the wrong place wrong time. dean was hell bent on not loosing anyone else. their loses piled a mile high the blood that coat his hands, people he’s gotten killed, and or died for the good fight.

HE’S DIFFERENT TO HOW SHE REMEMBERS. — older, with an even heavier weight bearing down on his shoulders than before. jo doesn’t completely know 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 she’s missed. there’s a lot to catch up on, when someone comes back from the dead, but she’s seen glimpses. little bits here & there that were shown to her when osiris pulled woman from peace in an attempt to punish; enough to know that whatever he has been through, it’s a lot. and yet, weariness aside, he’s also the same. still stands with a poise and speaks with a gruff that makes him so very 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫, the one she used to sit at roadhouse bar with all those years ago. 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳. it’s how she knows he’ll let her stay, even before he’s answered. ＂ what can i say? i’m stubborn. ＂ it’s a trait she gets from mom. maybe father too, but his personality is a little harder to remember. lips stretch into a smile and she releases a laugh, a sense of fondness washing over as she hears dean’s nickname for his home. ＂ the batcave? you’re not gonna start dressing up in armor too, are you? or speaking in that really, really 𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚙 voice? ＂ her own tone lowers playfully, as if to provide an example while hand reaches out for the pack of beer she brought with her. they were meant as a bribe; a way to soften him up if he tried to tell her no, but now, they’re simply a gift to be shared between 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 as jo realizes bribery was never necessary. ＂ as tempting as unclean sheets & creepy night guards sound, i think i’ll risk missing out on the fun and stay here instead. ＂ top of one bottle is knocked off before she passes it over to him, helping herself to another right after. ＂ thanks. i appreciate it. the real world is a little intimidating when you’ve been out of it since 2009. at least if i’m here, i’ll have you to catch me up on all the important stuff i’ve missed, like . . . 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘷𝘳𝘪𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳? and how many star wars films are there now? ＂ there’s more she wants to ask. 𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚙𝚎𝚛, personal questions, though jo treds light, not wanting to overstep. those are the kinda conversations they need to ease into and that’s okay. they’ve got something she didn’t think they’d have again now, which is time.
Her gaze was lowered the moment the words left her lips. She never intended to be so rude, but her emotions were beginning to betray her as they crept out in less than ideal circumstances; a side effect of a young girl like her forcing herself to appear okay. Truth was she wasn't quite sure where she was heading, she just knew she wanted to be somewhere else. Trembling lips finally uttered words, "I just wanna go home," as she held back tears. Would she have dared to try to trek all the way back to Kansas herself if she hadn't been caught? Possibly not, but there was no denying that she held the desire to ever since she'd arrived at Jody's.
SHE CAN’T PRETEND TO COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHAT LILY IS GOING THROUGH. — they all have their stories, especially in this world. jody found out about the supernatural world as a grown ass adult and she’s the first to admit she 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚞𝚐𝚐𝚕𝚎𝚍; so caught up in loss & anger, unable to process despite seeing 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 with her own eyes. the thought of going through it as young as lily is right now? it’s no wonder the girl is aching to return somewhere familiar. ＂ to kansas? oh, honey. ＂ it’s bound to happen. she warned the boys keeping a kid in the dark won’t 𝚎𝚗𝚍 well, but as they’ve already established, jody isn’t lily’s mom. the final decision isn’t her call. ＂ 𝘪 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳, but going out there all by yourself isn’t the answer. why didn’t you say something? we could’ve come up with a plan. ＂

made the call to work. they weren’t overly happy, but i did it & i’m now rewarding myself by watching edward cullen blatantly gaslight bella swan in a hospital corridor aka twilight.
feeling anxious because even though i’m doing better chest infection wise, i’m not one hundred percent, so i know i need to call work tomorrow to tell them my doctor is going to certificate me off another week, but that’ll be my sixth week & i just get blah abt things like that.
