continuation on the infume meowing/barking for 5 gifted, he is so whiny and sad rn because Evbo came into ghosties chat and also told him to bark, and ghostie is bullying him slightly and trying to get him to bark and he sounds so embarrassed and whiny but HE'S STAYING IN THE CALL, AND HE IS THE ONE WHO GETS HIMSELF INTO THESE SITUATIONS. he is exactly where he wants to be.
also he just barked after all of the protesting... and after that ghostie immediately said "im ending stream" and started checking in with infume "are you okay, are you fine" and he just replied with "im here" and she called him a corgi and he's just still so whiny and protesting. they still went on for a bit but ghostie is asking infume who to raid.

and he started saying something about "now the,,, now the puppy dog is...." and then kept repeating no and asking ghostie to end her stream(he was regretting starting that sentence so badly). so, they are staying on call i assume. This, is so chaotically written i apologise but things just kept happening and OH MY GOD INFUME PLEASE.
This guy was being bullied and it made him feel some type of way about it and ghostie must've realised because that end was kind of abrupt (and also the immediate checking in, asking if he's okay) just... so many things to think about...
oh. my. god. i cannot believe this is real.
the bark, the immediate regret. the way he says "i'm here" when asked if he's okay because he doesn't want to admit he's not but doesn't want to lie either. he's so whiny when ghostie asks him who to raid because his brain is too overwhelmed with everything to make such a simple choice. and the puppy dog. he genuinely sounded like he was breaking down in tears, repeating no's. ghostie tries to tease a bit more, get him to finish his sentence, but it became way too much for him, so he starts begging "end stream, please end stream" and that's when ghostie finally catches the severity of it all, repeating "here, here, here" as she sends off the raid, making sure infume knows she's doing it, and they are about to be left alone. oh, wow.
it's also not the first time they stay in call after ghostie finishing her stream (mainly known to me because once ghostie undeafened before the raid went through and you could hear them start talking; but also because ghostie always deafens in call before saying goodbye to chat, not leaving it), and they definitely did this time. infume all embarrassed and ashamed and needing reassurance that he's okay. oh, he's definitely all curled up in his chair, hiding in his hoodie. maybe in his blanket too.
and yes, infume always gets himself in these situations, gets himself bullied and whines and cries but stays exactly there because it does make him feel some type of way. ghostie knows it, hence the continuous playing with her food teasing infume, but this went further than usual (at least on stream). oh wow.
there is something to unpack here. because infume meowed multiple times (basically without prompting too, for his standards, like he really wanted to have an excuse to meow), but barking? that's what broke him. why? have we embraced the catboy but are too ashamed with doing the same with puppy headspace? why do we view meowing as less embarrassing? have we just been meowing a lot in private, for some select people, but barking is a new territory? really interesting. i will be pondering that.
