Irl events kicked Fein’s possessive behavior up to 100, right when Infume wanted the most leeway. So many friends so close, but Infume had to stay right by Fein’s side.

The first time Fein locked Couri outside on the deck overnight to punish Infume, Couri got really sick. Infume ended up crying over it in bed, and when Fein tried to comfort him, Infume pushed him away/swatted at him. Then Fein warned Infume against that, and Infume started to freak out at the idea of upsetting Fein and him retaliating against Couri. Had a panic attack bad enough he threw up. Then Infume fell asleep cuddling Fein (Fein’s choice), basically purring himself to sleep, both self soothing, but also trying to suck up to Fein, so he wouldn't hurt Couri again.

Infume wanting to be with/comfort Couri, but Fein told him he'd be pissed if Infume got sick from Couri, and that also freaked Infume out real bad. Because the last time Fein really got mad at Infume is what led to Couri getting so sick.

(To clarify, Fein isn’t happy Couri got sick, and is genuinely trying to take care of him now.)
