ARYA GREY:
ย ย ย ย Hudsonโs words tore away at her soul, like a knife cutting through flesh. Arya hadnโt been expecting the truth to hurt so badly. Especially not when sheโd known it all along. The only problem was, what did she do with her truth? How did she write off her own emotions? She hadnโt been completely fair to Erin, but if she admitted that, was she being fair to herself? The more he spoke, the more she found herself blocking out his words. Overwhelmedย didnโt even begin to explain the way she was feeling. And if Arya wasnโt careful, she knew she might explodeย โ or worse. Sheโd show him just how vulnerable she was truly feeling.
ย ย ย ย Staring at the floor beneath her feet, Aryaโs voice was quiet when she finally spoke up.ย โI think you should leave. Or at leastโฆ donโt talk to me. Sorry, I just canโt do this right now. โ Turning on her heels, she grabbed the flashlight and headed back toward the storage room. While it was nothing fancy, it was a whole lot better than sticking around there.
He holds place for what felt like an hourย โ mind & body fiercely attempting to align with one another once moreย โ before nodding slowly. Part of him was already coming to regret the way this plight panned out in itโs entirety. The acid upon his tongue leaving nothing but a musty aftertaste as he allowed himself to take a brief step into Aryaโs shoes. The other part of him, however, knew that while his words did not debut as pleasantly as they could haveย โ the message itself still needed to be conveyed. And while his friendship with the woman would probably never rekindle after thisย โ perhaps the one she shared with Erin... would.ย
Without a single word, Hudson makes his way to the front door of the establishment. One palm reaching to situate his hood onto the crown of his head while the other reached for his sodden umbrella. Pausing momentarily to look over his shoulder at the brunette. He wanted to apologize. He did. Despite their differences, the last thing she deserved was such malice. But nothing emerged from the repression of his lips. Fingers curling around the knob of the door before pushing it open; the frigid winds and showers greeting his warm skin almost immediately. He pushes open the umbrella, making his way down the the murky and bare avenue.ย Opting to face the wrath of storm Mysticย โ instead of Hurricane Grey.ย
END.
