Louis in iridescent velvet? Don’t mind if I do. I’m so ready to be emotionally devastated next season. The painting itch got me again so I had to finally paint LDPDL, I love him so much. I have so many ideas at any given time I have to remind myself to finish one before I jump to the next, but the iwtv demons won’t let me rest. Luckily I’m completely fine with that, and my goal for the coming year is to do increasingly more unhinged shit, so look forward to that (threatening). Cooking up some fun bloody Louis & Lestat, it’s pretty tame but I’m dipping a toe in.

tv shows don’t do deliciously ugly MESS like they used to, it’s all waay too pristine and palatable and perfectly marketable. which is why lestat becoming a rockstar to deal with centuries of family and vampire trauma all while being in a bitchy situationship with the husband he’s divorcing for the third time and being haunted by his dead daughter and reuniting with his non-binary undead mother-lover, and also meeting the journalist/newly-turned-vampire, latest favourite toy and obsession of his husband’s ex-husband, the man responsible for painting a picture of him he takes personal offense to that the whole world has read, while also reminiscing about his life and telling his version of a story everyone else has told but him, IS actually gonna heal my soul

In this week’s installment of ‘I can’t stop painting Armand!’. I started sketching this listening to ‘Beware’ by Deftones and it was a perfect combo. They’re the soundtrack to devils minion in my head. Also maybe dipping a toe into some Jasper/ Talamasca stuff soon cause I adore William Fichtners bone structure. But damn Assad Zaman is gorgeous, speaking of bone structure. @ IWTV casing dept, you really did find a painting in a human with him, huh?

Did I spend maybe a full minute gazing happily at his face on the back cover of a copy of hotel portofino at work today? Yes I did. Yeah.
