Every time you have GenAI make you an anime waifu with three titties and a dumptruck ass a family doesn't get to have a drink or bathe.

Every time you ask Copilot to write you a PowerShell script to stroke your boss' ego, a city experiences a brownout.

Every time you chat with your AI "girlfriend" a farmer doesn't get to water their animals.

Using these tools actively hurts you and your community, while at the same time enriching some shitheel who would happily step on your neck to make an additional dollar. Don't use them. Actively remove them from devices you own. Disable them whenever possible. Go out of your way to avoid them. It's honestly not hard. You've been using the internet just fine without GenAI hallucinating at you.

Have you felt any fears when starting as an artist? If so, how did you manage to deal with it?

yes and i still do. when i started as a full time artist i wasnt really in a position to have doubts about it. i lost my job in 2020 so i had to make it work, because my whole industry was closed down for a while. that helped me, since it was that or become homeless lol. being rock bottom can really help u get some shit together

also ive always been an artist, so i never considered that i couldnt do it, its like i was born to do it and there was no other path for me. like normal jobs freaking sucked for me i just never fit in and i was miserable so i wanted an out for as long as i can remember

but yeah i do still have anxieties and stuff, about money and about not being good enough. but those thoughts dont have to take over or change your path at all. just do it and have some negative thoughts sometimes. dont think too much just do. ooga booga

Untold hours later… and I’m still doing edits and color adjustments and doing my best not to panic. (And telling a reflection it needs to stop impersonating a shadow… 👀)

To be clear: considering how rusty I’ve become and how wild my anxiety has been, this has still come along better than I previously hoped. So that does count for something.

It was 100% watercolor until things got Goofy and then gouache and colored pencils got involved, bless them.

Finally finished with tweaking and detailing this 12" tall monster paw relic sculpted in @monsterclayusa ! ( Soft grade with a harder grade used for the claws) Hoping to turn this into a "lamp" so the eye and claws light up. I'll make a few blanks available but for now I'm just excited to paint one up once I get molds made...

Okay well. I'm at the lake and there are some kittens here who were very very clearly dumped!!

CAT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ALERT

I'm home now, and I was able to crate all the kittens together, they were very easy, and now they're safe and sound. here are the babies:

I'm going to take more pictures later. - all three are clearly clean and fed, they were dumped down here at a fishing spot by the lake, most likely JUST today, we come here often. - they're all on the Older side of kitten, basically teenaged, they appear bigger, but are much smaller than my adult cats. they all sound like kittens when they mew. - none of them appear to be sick. - they are incredibly, incredibly sweet. these were somebody's cats, they all like to be petted, held, babied, and spoken to. they followed me around. - they clearly love eachother, and all get along. BEST case scenario would be rehoming them as a trio, because they keep eachother calm and entertained.
