RELATIONSHIPS: What comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned?

For some of you, this is referring to future energies. The reading was meant to be about the general public instead of romantic interests, so I encourage you to ask the question with this in mind. I think your reputation precedes you a little, in the sense that distant people may have heard of you before they actually come into contact with you, either in person or online. What comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned has something to do with the ideas you spread. People also think about the conversations they’ve heard about you; the conversations that started because of your words and actions; the talks, gossip, and news people spread about you.

For some of you, if you are a public speaker or just someone who shares your thoughts with others, people could repeat what you say a lot, and these things get passed on from one person to another person like quotes or sayings. If you are a writer, your writings may be shared from one person to another person. So when your name is mentioned, these quotes, ideas, and opinions come to people’s minds because other people repeat them. Other people may also add their thoughts to it, so it becomes another conversation, and another, and another — but it’s related to what your existence, your name, your actions, and your words have brought up.

It’s also possible that your name reminds people of that act itself. Since it feels like people gather around and talk and spread something related to you, people are reminded of this social interaction when your name is mentioned. You may also be known as someone who fights for justice, calls out bad behaviour, stands for the right things, or corrects the wrongs in your environment. Some of you may have done this sneakily, filed a report without anyone finding out at first, acted as a whistle-blower, got information about certain things, etc.

For many of you, there’s a name attached to your identity since this topic talks about when your name is mentioned, but whether you do this anonymously or not, people see you as someone who does what is necessary, someone who risks doing the difficult thing for the sake of justice and morality, someone who wants to balance something out in your environment. For some of you, it’s giving the “robin hood” vibe; your behaviour may not be seen as one hundred percent palatable or nice, you could be breaking some norms here, but it is seen as necessary by people. If you are not doing anything specific like that, this could be talking about your way of life, something about you feels socially loyal and connected, but not afraid to break norms for the right reasons.

What comes to people’s minds is the understanding that you do those things and live like this not only for yourself, but because you’re loyal to your moral values, principles, and other people (e.g. your community, the oppressed, people who were wronged, people who are in the same position as you). It’s interesting because I think a lot of people could have misunderstood you at first, or they might have misunderstood you and then realised that they got it completely wrong — what they thought you were was actually the opposite of who you are. We have a lot of “twins” imagery here and “The Hound” card talks about how the dog was killed by the owner after the owner found the dog with its mouth bloody and red. The owner thought that the dog had hurt his son, but the blood in the dog’s mouth was actually from a snake that the dog had killed (before the snake could hurt the child).

So you could be doing something good, but people misunderstood you, and they later realised that you were right all along, that you were on the right side, that you are kinder and more loyal than they thought you were. Other people could also be hearing about this misunderstanding, so when your name is mentioned, people are reminded of this whole thing. People trust you. They think you are trustworthy. Some of them think that they should have had more trust in you; it’s just that the situation might have been a bit risky and blurry, and they weren’t brave enough to choose your side because they didn’t know where you were going. When your name is mentioned, they are reminded of this feeling. People believe that you are on their side, and that they can actually rely on you, that they can trust you to care about other people too, that they don’t have to worry about you betraying them.

Some people may also see similarities in you. So when your name is mentioned, they are reminded of their own qualities that they see in you. For other people though, there’s something about you that makes people feel a bit… disgruntled. It’s not the fact that you do all of those things. I think this disgruntlement has more to do with how other people react to you. So there’s a group of people who don’t quite like how you are being celebrated, how you are seen, how you are being received, etc. I’m not sure what you are doing here, but this group of people may feel a bit discouraged, unsatisfied, and wondering if they can get their share, wondering if they can continue doing what they love like before. It’s not that they hate you as a person, I’m not feeling strong hatred here. But maybe they compare themselves to you. Maybe they feel like you have all the good things and they have scraps.

If you are doing something creative, intellectual, impactful, significant, or something that rocks the boat, people could wonder about their own fates after your impact. They could wonder about themselves and what they are doing in their lives. It’s like they see you doing something in your life, spreading important information and ideas, standing for something worthwhile and righteous, and then they look at themselves and find their own lives kinda boring. So your name reminds them of these things.

For some of you, you cause creative blocks in other people. The more your name is mentioned, the more blocked they feel. Some people may think that you are being too righteous about your moral values and worldview; when they hear or see your name, they may feel like they’re being judged by you. But I think this is just them lashing out because they feel bad about themselves. It’s not because they truly hate your moral stance. I don’t know, I feel like you can indirectly make people feel bad about what they’re doing or not doing in their lives.

People think about your blessings when your name is mentioned. They think about your money, and the wealth that is coming towards you. There are a lot of talks around you. The attention is on you. When your name is mentioned, people may get zoned in, pay their utmost attention to the conversation, and want to add to the conversation. When your name is mentioned, other people think about this behaviour. They think about the people who admire you, look up to you, celebrate you, support you, spread your ideas. They think about how much support you have. Some people may also believe that you are set for more financial opportunities because of this, you have wealth coming your way. When your name is mentioned, people think about your success, your triumph over your competitors, your opinions, your intelligence, the way you bring material opportunities your way.

I feel like your whole reading is addressing energies at your workplace or social group. Your name may remind people of your win and other people’s losses. Some people could believe that your victory happens at the expense of some other people, or your victory comes with other types of stress and uncomfortable adjustments, and so people are reminded of these when your name is mentioned. Despite the whole gossip vibe, I don’t think people spread false information about you. It is possible that the news may be exaggerated a little or a little embellished though. For example, if you are seen as someone who speaks up against injustice, people may exaggerate and say that you completely obliterate your opponent, or that you are very strict about integrity, moral, or how a community should work — even if you’re actually pretty chill in real life. It doesn’t feel like criticism though.

Looking at the context, this could have something to do with workplace, industry, organisation, business, accreditation, status or position at work, rules and regulations. So what people think about when your name is mentioned may be directly related to your career path, the type of work you have done, what you choose to do in life, where you choose to go in life, the responsibility you choose to carry, the limits you break, the expectation you subvert, the burden you let go. People understand you in this context, or people’s perceptions of you are influenced by this.

When your name is mentioned, people are reminded of how tough and brave you are, how hard you’ve worked, how you have chosen to take a path less travelled, or how you have managed to get yourself out of a burdensome and restrictive system. Some of you may have poured yourself into other people, helped people or sacrificed something for other people. But you’re choosing yourself this time, and so when your name is mentioned, people think about this.

People feel protective of you, honestly. Some people feel this way. They worry about the path you are taking. They find your choice a bit idealistic and unpragmatic. Some people think that you sacrifice yourself too much for other people, or you choose certain things without considering the practical constraints and other challenges. People see you like the general public see Pisces or Neptunian individuals — there’s this dreamy, soft, idealistic vibe about you that make people wonder if you’ll be alright doing what you do. I’m not getting this energy strongly though, so this prejudice may not be prevalent at all, it could be one or two haters thinking this way. Hearing or seeing your name could remind these haters of their opinions about you: they are reminded of how idealistic they think you are, how you are not seeing things properly, how you have more things to learn. But I’m not getting strong pushback from these people; they don’t come up to you and start shit, mostly because of how confident and certain you seem. Some of your haters may want to influence other people into believing what they believe, but I don’t think it’s working.

I think your name mostly brings up conversations about your decision and path. There’s something that you have chosen here, something you have changed, something you’ve decided to commit to OR stop committing to — and your name brings up this topic. People talk about you, mostly behind your back and in closed groups. Your name reminds people of the news, conversations, gossip that they have heard. Similar to the previous pile, your name could also remind people of these social interactions: people think about how people talk about you or how often people talk about you (i.e. the focus is not necessarily on the content of the gossip itself, but on the fact that there’s gossip). If you have received opportunities or rejected opportunities, your name reminds people of this. People think about how you remain resolute or focused on your ideals and individual path instead of whatever offers that come your way.

For some of you, when your name is mentioned, what comes to people’s minds is your sibling. For others, what comes to people’s minds is what you have said to them — your latest messages to them: your texts, calls, online posts, etc. Your name also reminds people of other people’s protectiveness over you. Some of you are treated as though you are quite sacred, like your inner fire needs to be tended to so you don’t get burned out or lose yourself. Another group of people may think that other people’s protectiveness over you a bit patronising sometimes, because people treat you like you can’t make decisions on your own, like you need to be shielded, or like you are naive and gullible.

Context: The Hanged Man Rx, Ace of Pentacles Rx.

There were a lot of cards that wanted to come out when I shuffled the Archetype Deck, so it is possible that people have a lot of opinions about you, and a lot of different opinions about you. It is also possible that who you are as a person isn’t very clear to people, or you seem to have multiple different traits in your personality. So when your name is mentioned, different aspects of you come to their minds, depending on which part of you that they connect with the most or that brings out reactions in them. But there’s a pattern in the cards here. I think for your reading, a lot of what comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned centers around your spirituality or religion, your worldview, your perspective. This can also be about your philosophy, your values, your mindset, and the changes that you have made in these areas of your life.

The people whose energies coming up strongly in your reading here are probably your coworkers, your classmates, your housemates, your peers, or people who value material life and are more concerned with the tangible: money, material achievement, bills, career, and so on. I’m not looking down on these people, it’s important to care about the material aspect of life. But with Ace of Pentacles in reverse next to the Hanged Man in reverse, there’s something about your spirituality and enlightenment that may be in contrast to people’s ways of living, hence why this part of you stands out to them. I wonder if you have made a personal change that involved shifting the way you looked at things, e.g. getting rid of old beliefs, healing traumas and other setbacks that were caused by your past.

People think about your past, what you have experienced before, your pain and struggles and limitations (especially if these are related to external establishment, like institutional religious beliefs, government and law, cultural and family norms). It may also be something that people talk about, or speculate.

They could think about the surveillance and limitation you may be under. I feel like it’s something that’s strongly tied to your past though, like your past beliefs or your previous worldviews. People could think and talk about how you have changed. If you haven’t experienced a massive change in your worldview, then this could be talking about your unique worldview. There’s something unconventional about the way you see things (like, you are outside of what’s mainstream) — this is what comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned.

People also think about the healing and cleansing you’ve done, how you handle your past and previous challenges, how you seem to be moving in a more peaceful direction. People think that you are healing, you are still clearing out outdated and harmful ideas so that you can achieve more peace in your life. Some people see that you are someone who does inner work and address your own personal issues. There’s something abstract that you are loyal to here (e.g. values, principles, worldview, belief), and people think that your commitment to healing is due to this loyalty. People think that you are loyal to who you want to be, what kind of life you want to have, etc. So when your name is mentioned, people get an impression of hard-earned peace, hard-earned healing, hard-earned grace.

People also think about your sharpness — you could have a sharp and discerning mind. Your name reminds people of how far and deeply you see things. People think about your ability to understand cycle, repetition, pattern. People think about how you regained influence over your mind, especially if you have been controlled, influenced, or propagandised by external establishments. When your name is mentioned, people think about your government, your superiors, or the people who have (or used to have) control over your life.

For example, if people know about your controlling parents, then they may think about your parents when your name is mentioned. People think about your softness — you seem peaceful and harmonious — but there’s something about your surroundings that feels strict and structured to other people. But despite your softness, people also think that you have stubborn resistance in you that motivates you to break whatever chains that are holding you back.

If you have recently got into a contractual agreement, been offered a contract, rejected a contract — this comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned. They could think about what type of partner that suits you, or what type of partner that you could be looking for. They speculate and wonder if you are in a relationship, who your partner is, when you are going to be in a relationship, your past relationship, etc.

This could be about romance, but it doesn’t have to be. This could also talk about job contracts. If you haven’t received a contract or got into any agreement, people could also speculate about the possibility of you doing this in the future. People think that this contract can be the key to a better position in life for you. I’m not getting negative energy from this, so I don’t think this contract has anything to do with a lawsuit. It feels more like a commitment than anything else. Overall, like I said, people see you as very committed as a person. They could speculate about the commitments that you have made or haven’t made in your life. The people in this “Gossip” card are looking at the woman who’s wearing the ring. So people don’t just think about your commitments and how committed you are, they talk about it.

I’m not getting a strong positive or negative energy from this. But there could be people who speculate about the commitment(s) that you have, trying to make it seem more negative than it actually is. It’s like you making it known that you are not interested in marriage, and people think and talk about this. Or you making it known that you actually want a marriage and want to be a stay-at-home spouse, and people think and talk about this. Or you rejecting an employment offer because you prefer something that’s more aligned with your spirituality and worldview, and people think and talk about this. Some people may also wonder if your past experience influences your stance and what you choose to be committed to today. So when your name is mentioned, they think about these things.

What also comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned is the gossip or talk surrounding you. Similar to another pile, it’s not just the content of the gossip itself, it’s the fact that people gossip or talk about you. Some people think about how attractive you are, but you also feel a bit inaccessible. As if it’s not possible for people to be with someone like you even when they find you attractive, particularly because of factors that can control your life (e.g. factors like your government, country, religion, race, family, etc). There’s a feeling of being surveilled.

I hope you are alright, not to scare you, of course. But it feels like, to other people, it’s either you are being surveilled or you have some eyes on you. You are being eyed by some people, it could be for good or bad reasons. If we consider the Ring card, this could be talking about companies and organisations that want to work with you too. But to the majority of people who know of your name, they view this entity in a slightly negative light. This “Authority Figure” card just reminds me of the 1984 book by George Orwell, because there’s literally just an eye illustrated on the card.

Overall, I just got the impression of you escaping a restrictive system, the external and internal limitations, and searching for something more peaceful, and more aligned with your worldview and values. So at its core, that’s what people think about when your name is mentioned.

What comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned: Conjunction [Alliance, 51]. Ghost. Mentor. Fox [14]. The Rooster and Sunflower [Communication, XLVII]. Discovery Rx.

This pile is interesting. So the message for you here may be related to something that you are doing or have recently done. It’s related to how you move, the actions that you take, the direction you are taking, your daily activities, the ideas that you pursue, the activities or passionate interests that you pursue, places you go, how you make your dreams or wish happen, how you live your life. I think people are very curious about you. You seem like someone who cannot be tied down, contained, or held in one place.

You are interesting. There’s something that you regularly do or have been doing here that is seen as refreshing and intriguing. The way you move intrigues people. It’s like people watch you live your best life, doing whatever you want, going after what you want, trying what you want, living life as though nothing deters or worries you; there’s this mystical, unexplainable pull that you evoke — that’s what people feel when your name is mentioned. You seem carefree, at least in people’s eyes, you’re not bogged down by anything and you move with the wind lol. But you somehow make things work out for you, and that’s what intriguing too.

When your name is mentioned, people want to know things about you, particularly about what’s going on with you right now, what you are doing now, where you are going next. People wonder what’s holding your attention at the moment, how you are pursuing your passion and interest at the moment, how you follow your inspirations, etc. There’s this strong interest to see you and understand your current activity.

But the problem is, you feel difficult to catch. What comes to people’s minds when your name is mentioned is how elusive you are. It’s like, you are a master at suddenly disappearing and ghosting people. People can’t predict where you are going, but they feel like you are moving somewhere, they feel like you’re focusing on something, and they want to know where you are going, where they can find you, when they can get hold of you. For example, when your name is mentioned, people may think about your last message, call, or online post, and wonder when you guys are going to talk again.

Some people think that you don’t have a rigid plan in life, but you still give off the vibe that you’re having fun and living your best life, doing whatever you are passionate about. You seem to be kinda distant, like, you appear and disappear whenever you want. And when you appear, you may have a tendency to appear with some kind of wisdom and valuable insight that people can learn from, but after a few minutes or a few days, you disappear again for weeks or months. Even if they regularly see you in person, they may feel like they can’t seem to get that closeness again. People can’t get you however and whenever they want you. You give what you want, when you want to give it. You share yourself, your wisdom, your experience, your life when you want to and you can easily pull back like it’s nothing to you.

People think about your leadership quality, you just have the quality and the charisma to be a leader, you have the ability to teach and impart wisdom. But people also think about how you don’t seem like you are interested in being a leader lol. You move in a very individualistic kind of way, without waiting for anyone. It’s giving the vibe of someone who goes to the cinema or bungee jumping alone, just because you can.

Some of you are trendsetters. You are on to something before other people are. You believe in something before other people do. And by the time people catch up to you, you are gone. You are on to the next thing. When your name is mentioned, people think about this. There are people who didn’t appreciate your presence before, and these people actually regret it. They regret that they didn’t see what you were doing and how you were moving before you were gone. Now that they want you, they can’t have you because you keep slipping away.

People learn from you by watching you, whether they do this intentionally or not. You are sneaky, or cunning. When your name is mentioned, or when your name appears on their screens, they think about this. People think that you know what you are doing, or you know you can manipulate people. People think you are not totally innocent, but it just intrigues them. If you are good at strategy, ‘chess manoeuvre, deftly sidestepping and navigating situations — people pay attention to it.

For example, some of you have a habit of answering questions without actually answering questions lol. People know. Some of you are great at answering or responding in a way that keeps people interested. You don’t seem like you want to let people know more about you, or you are very selective about it. You seem like you intentionally keep certain things hidden. You seem like someone who constantly learns and moves forward, but you don’t share everything that’s going on, and people think that something interesting is definitely going on. It’s lowkey a bit frustrating to some people. When your name is mentioned, people get reminded of these things.

People think about your friends, the crowd you have around you, the social group you are in, your allies, etc. People could hear about you from these people, or the only time people can see you is when you are with these people. People wonder how to get into your inner circle. People seem to think that you keep long-term friends, or your friendships are difficult to have but last long. You shine. There are a lot of orange cards and there’s also a lot of Sun imagery in the cards you have here. When your name is mentioned, people get reminded of how you shine. But like I said, the problem is you are difficult to catch. It’s like people keep missing the timing to connect with you. When you are at a particular place, they are not there. When you contact them, they are not available, and by the time they can reply, you are busy doing your own thing. Some people believe that you are heading somewhere important, and they want to join you, but they don’t know how.

I’m just getting a strong sense of people wanting you. This could be talking about a particular individual, or it could be multiple people. The intensity of their desire depends on your individual case, of course. When your name is mentioned, people think about how they can form an alliance, how they can be on your side, engage with you, or get included in your group. People want to be with you. For some of you, when your name is mentioned, people get the sense that you are going to disappear soon or move far away, and it may be impossible for them to reach out to you again. People think about your lack of attachment; you seem like you don’t depend on other people much. I mean, you have your own people that you seem to interact with regularly, but from outside looking in, it just feels like a special club, and you don’t even seem that attached to this club, honestly.

People could also think about the guiding figures you have in your life, like a mentor, boss, parent, etc. Some people think that you have natural knowledge in something, like, you just know what to do and how to move. When your name is mentioned, people also think about your ethnicity, culture, or any wisdom from your elders and unique background that you have passed on to other people.
