Edd’s big mistake.
He was floating near us and enjoying himself, until he realized he floated about 10 feet away from us and was gripped with UNRELENTING PANIC.

Edd’s big mistake.
He was floating near us and enjoying himself, until he realized he floated about 10 feet away from us and was gripped with UNRELENTING PANIC.
the autism thing of having to learn to preface every question you ask with Holy Shit I'm Just Curious Please Dont Yell At Me because it turns out a lot of questions seem to Mean Something and people will get mad if you ask them
and usually its just asking Why
There are 2 types of fanfic:
fanfic that I like
fanfic that is none of my business
*slaps my body* this bad boy can- ugh auugh that hurt
I just got an official autism diagnosis! It's nice to have proof that my decade of self-diagnosis was accurate.
I'm having a very specific problem with WeaveChat that I can't figure out how to fix.
No matter what I do, I cannot use the word "less" without the app treating it as a suffix, even though I made a separate tile as part of "amounts". Is there any way to make the word act like an independent word?
Yk sometimes I wonder if the people who get lost in the lost woods really become stalfos or if the Kokiri, a functionally immortal race, don't know what a skeleton is
I've been using an app on my phone for AAC for the last couple of months. Which has been better than not being able to communicate at all, but still really frustrating because it means I can't also use my phone for other things (like playing music that helps with sensory regulation) when I need to say something. But today, I'm supposed to get an iPad that will be my dedicated AAC, so I'll be able to talk and use my phone at the same time!
The art choices in the bathroom of this very nice restaurant are absolutely diabolical.
I just had my first appointment with someone willing to test for autism! And they are cool with me using AAC during appointments (though I didn't this time and slightly regret it). So in a couple of months (I have a lot of weekly appointments) I'll finally either have an official diagnosis, or an explanation for what I've been dealing with that isn't autism but looks like it.
I wanted to make a piece that represented what it's like to have verbal shutdowns and the overall difficulty of talking that comes with being autistic and physically disabled so yeah! *thumbs up*
can everyone reblog with the interest of theirs that was the most intense or continued for the longest because i’m so curious

Desert weather is weird. It is currently 21°F (roughly -6°C). The high for today is 59°F (15°C). How do you dress for the weather when you need a parka in the morning and a T-shirt by mid-afternoon?
Eric Andre is Jewish btw. I feel like a lot of people assume he isn't bc of racism or bc they assume every word out of his mouth is sarcastic but he is Jewish and has talked about it.
Normally, when I experience a verbal shutdown, it only lasts a few hours. I've barely been able to speak in a month and a half. At what point do I start describing myself as just semiverbal? Because I don't want to force myself into a community that I don't actually belong in.
Heck yeah, dollar store stim toy! One plastic bottle, one multi pack of fine glitter, and one bottle of baby oil (plus a glue gun we already had for securing the lid, though that was also available at the dollar store) makes for a wonderful sensory experience for less than five bucks!
