yay thank you!!! this is a very loosely thought out 90s tt5 jason-centred thing where he gets to be very cryptically picky about when he chooses to be vulnerable. this is literally all i’ve got of it so far

The first time that the idea came about, it had been a strange sort of misunderstanding.

Some forfeit had come about in a quirky board game that none of them completely understood the rules to. The basic premise was to advance across the board by answering question cards about yourself, with the option of lying if you thought you could get away with it but with the caveat that the other players may call your bluff and advance themselves instead. Ultimately, the five of them knew each other far too well to successfully complete a single round of the game – any meaningful secrets had been outed months ago.

Jason was performing rather poorly until that point, by virtue of his giggly nature tending to give away whenever he attempted to lie. That was how he found himself in trouble.

The documentary had screened in December 2005 and we were back rehearsing by February 2006. It felt good again. The tour kicked off in April. We’d got the first few nights out of the way, got the reviews in, the crowd were on side and we were feeling on top of it all in a very short amount of time.- Jason
