FIRST RANT FOR THIS BLOG welp

i’ve been thinking bout this a lot since the recent ep bc i’ve been seeing more and more comments about the whole popularity thing around Team A + Jihoon/ YG Silver Boys. SO YA’LL HERE I GO:

so ofc they’re going to be popular, they’re the longest running trainees (yes ik some of the japanese trainees were training as long as yedam but we didn’t even know anything about them till the show.)

byounggon, hyunsuk and junkyu got exposure on mixnine

yedam has been famous basically since he was younger bc of kpop star etc

and seunghun, doyoung and jihoon were all on skz survival show were they got good feedback from there too

but us silver boys stans, stan them bc they are talented and passionate!!

i think hyunsuk, byounggon and seunghun are the most desperate to debut bc of their age and especially how close hyunsuk and byounggon were to debuting in mixnine

SEUNGHUN HAS BEEN TRAINING FOR 9 YEARS IDC IF HE WAS ONLY IN YG FOR 3YEARS. 9 YEARS GUYSSSSSS

dobby is so desperate to debut as well, my heart broke when he pushed for risky choreo for ‘freedom’ that he got hurt in doing when he fell

and for junkyu to pick himself back up after being in a rut is so admirable, he’s back and better and thriving and i love it

you can just see it in their eyes how desperate they are to debut and its killing me

ALSO whats the point in the team if theres no chemistry, these guys are like brothers!!

seunghun didn’t challenge junkyu with beautiful even tho it was perfect for his voice bc thats his TEAMMATE

yedam didn’t even say anything when they had to vote out either seunghun and byounggon bc they’re his TEAMMATES

whenever one of them is upset, they always go to another silver boy for comfort or they find them regardless of the fact that they’ve all been separated during the show

so my point is popularity isnt the only thing backing these boys. their talent, determination and dedication to their passion is what has me rooting for them till the end.
