Actually it’s easier for people with very specific bodies (white, thin, average height) with large incomes and supportive families to transition medically in a way which is more likely to conform to strict ideas of ‘man’ and ‘woman’

I swear every time I see someone try to make the argument for one of us having it better they exclusively either cite celebrities (again, see white, rich, thin) or assume that the people they know irl are representative of every trans person.

It also begs the point that YOU DO NOT KNOW IF SOMEONE IS STEALTH UNLESS THEY TELL YOU. No one actually knows how many trans people successfully live as stealth.

Most of the passing trans people I know personally are women, but most of the trans people I know to be stealth are men. I also know far more trans women than I do trans men. Not to ignore the fact that these arguments completely erase non binary people who are pressured to just pick a binary gender to ‘pass’ as because it is functionally impossible to be a ‘stealth’ non binary person.

It is completely possible to have important conversations about the specific oppressions that different kinds of trans people face without framing one group as being completely objectively better off. Stop trying to pit us against each other. It isn’t easy for *anyone* to be trans in this world.

It sucks there seems to be a concerted effort to distance the transfem and transmasc communities from each other. If it weren’t for trans women, I probably wouldn’t have realized I was trans until much later in life.

The cis women in my life were so miserable in their womanhood, I thought that misery was normal. Seeing trans women actually love and fight to be seen as women made me question my own misery

Other trans people are not your enemy, they are the ones you are going to have to fight side by side with for trans liberation

This years summer vibe is being a queer menace

I have these stickers I’ve designed and just send the design to some sticker making company thingy and buy like a bunch of them every summer to put up pretty much everywhere.

For two years straight I’ve had a sticker fight with someone at my bus stop, I put a sticker up, the next day it’s gone.

Last year I progressively put it higher and higher up until it wasn’t taken down. Put this years sticker at about the same height and it’s still up like a week later.

I won.

The stickers are a trans rights sticker and a sticker with the progressive pride flag and the text “queer liberation”
