Trump has plans for massive immigration raids this week and wants to use tiktok as a distraction to keep everyone’s focus off his upcoming human rights abuses. What the raids will ential, idk, but we gotta keep our eyes on the ball. I’m not chicagoan, so idk what’s there. Idk if there IS anything we can meaningfully do right now. But if you are local, find orgs who are doing the work on the ground to fight this battle and see if u can volunteer your time, or donate, or do anything meaningful. Spread the word to non-locals about what orgs can use their money to help. See if there are protests being organized you can join. Be prepared to film EVERYTHING, stream and record simultaneously if possible to try and ensure multiple copies exist in case people try and scrub it.
