Do we need empathy?
African migrants coming in droves to Europe. They know they're not welcome, but they're still coming over. They don't give a fuck about you. So why should you give a fuck about them? But, as someone who doesn't come from an imperialist nation, I say it is karma. So let them all reach their destination! Sorry for having evil ideas...
"... humanity can no longer be taken as the solution to anything—at least not alone, in its enlightened cosmo-ecological ignorance. On the contrary, from the perspective of the earth, humanity looks increasingly like the problem. And yet this humanity that I am talking about would perhaps be incomprehensible for the Yanomani or the Cashinawa of South America. Theirs is a worldview many would call animist, but which may be better described by what Viveiros de Castro has called “multinatural perspectivism.”"
Radical thinking
Death itself is not a bad thing. But pain, cruelty and violence are. Death seems negative because of them. It's associated with them. They're in it together. Death & Co. But death can be the escape from that. Unless the process of dying, that moment when life becomes something else, when it leaves your body, is the most painful thing you'll ever experience. I can't know how death feels like since I'm still alive. But I hope it's good. It must be. Or it should. Conception usually feels good, but not for the raped. You'd hope that the moment when one cell bumps into another and they start blending, you'd hope that the process feels good for them. But it could also be painful. The sacrifice they make for life. Nature seems to need painful death in order to make room for the living. Survival of the fittest and all that crap. For anything positive you need something negative in order to make it work, right? Maybe this is the basic rule of life. + and - ions, electricity, ying and yang, good and evil, black and white, light and dark, red and green. Opposites *must* attract. Although cloning is also possible. I wonder what nature thinks about that. I now understand better the fascination with sex and death in art. One is thought to be pleasurable, the other, its opposite, painful. (I already knew one creates life while the other takes it away.) Our ancestors must've known something we don't when they made human (and animal) sacrifices. An overpopulated planet seems like a sure way to doom. Too much life will lead to a huge death. Summer and winter. Autumn and spring. The bubble will burst. I wonder what will come out of it. Hopefully no humans. Just fresh oxygen.
Hatred makes you ugly no matter how you wear it.
I know most (if not all) of my ideas aren’t original. But, just because someone else thought of the same thing 10 years ago, it doesn’t make me any less smart than them.
Just unaware. They could’ve been hiding in a cave.
[At least 10 people could be having this same thought right now.]
I: why?
II: I don't know.
I: but why?
II: *shrugs* I don't know.
I: but whyyy?
II: I DON'T KNOW!!!
What would happen if all humans suddenly died? The earth would be temporarily polluted by toxic decay.
It's so sad when some people have no sense of humour.
I: You're not going to achieve anything by laying in bed all day.
II: Yeah... I know... But there's nothing I want to achieve...
My soul mate.
The erect penis: a well known symbol for power and domination.
The testicles: its two sided advisor that can either release an exploding army into its subjects, either make its powers suddenly disappear.
How many levels of consciousness are there? Can they be aware of each other?
Last night I had a nightmare about a pig being slaughtered alive. All the internal organs were exposed, but there was no blood. The pig was still moving in pain while the throat or the head was being cut.
Does our spirit or life force remain trapped in our bodies long after death? You're dead but can still feel the pain your body endures?
Do we get released from our material shell once it's all decomposed? Are spirits trapped in stuffed animals? Or is the spirit tied only to the brain?
How many levels of consciousness are there? Can they be aware of each other?
I: You know, there's more to life than sex.
Ii: Yeah, true, and that's death.
Is the big bang the birth of the physical universe? Meaning there was a spiritual 'universe' beforehand? That spiritual space could be life or something like our unconsciousness.
That feel when you realize you've never been a cool kid.
