Feels.

It feels like floating in the air, To love someone who cares. You make me fall each time I see you smile.  Our music played and feel your embrace. Let me take you to a journey with no end.

You’re my sugar, you’re my spice. Your hands, your lips, your eyes; I wish that you were here right by my side. You have my heart, right from the start. I know I’ll never find a girl someone like you.

For you gave me reason to hold on. You made my life complete And I know that you’re the right girl, You’re the one. Come to me my baby, let me hold you tight. Close your eyes and kiss my lips a thousand times. Every time I hear you whisper and tell me that you love me too, I’m in paradise. . . Oh please don’t close your eyes. Say it again, that I am the one. I can’t imagine when you’re gone, I wouldn’t last a day. This time I’m sure I’ll never let you go. Don’t ever change, just stay the same. Yes, I’ll never find a girl someone like you.

Change.

Suddenly.. things have changed.. situation and flow slowly changed.. Change is the constant thing that could make us uneasy, uncomfortable; think and feel of uncertainties. Things that could make us feel weak, unwanted, unimportant, discouraged, and even disoriented.

Maybe you are right, and I am wrong? Or it could be that you are wrong, and I am are right? Totally out of words to say,  just to stop us from being in pain. I wish I just never thought of something.. so I can make things right. I wish you were not hurt. So am I. . Please don’t leave me hanging. -M

Year 2020 just happened. Just like that. Before it ended, we’ve been through a lot. Struggled. Out of school. Lost jobs and even a family member. Tried new things and even went out from our comfort zones.

Going out my comfort zone have been a huge step for me, just like everybody else. Let me share to  you my story. . . One friend of mine once told me few years ago to do some print ads, he even said that there’s no harm in trying. I declined it. I don’t much have that confidence in me to do such things like that. All I know is I am only good at cooking (maybe? that’s what my mom says. lol). It feels like half of my life I’ve been working in the kitchen. Yes, I am a professional chef. Started working early and I’ve started working overseas at the age of 21. Did a lot of things on my own: decision making, solved many problems on my own, etc. In other words, became so independent at a very young age (not normal in Filipino culture). By the way, I am living in Finland for almost 4 years now.

Back to going out of my comfort zone. I just started to make my portfolio few months before the year 2020 ended. Until now, I still don’t know if this will bring me somewhere else. At least somehow I am now learning how to smile in front of the camera. LOL. I never expected that things would happen so fast. After posting new several fresh photos for my IG feed, without knowing, I am already starting to build my audience, connect with them, and get them involved to everything that I am posting. These kinds of things are all new to me. On the other hand, I am still feel thankful and blessed for them. I don’t get much serious engagements and deals yet with brands, for me that’s fine. As they say, soon, one day things will just happen in the most unexpected ways.
