Closing the chapter

The worst pain is being in no contact with the one person you’re still in love with, who at one point in time sent you texts that made your heart melt. Butterflies every time you saw them. And now you love them only in silence from a distance. Slowly being forced to close every chapter you never wanted to end. 📖

The sooner you figure out which chairs don’t belong at your table, the more peaceful your meals become

I saw the love leaving your eyes July 24

For some reason I held on like we could move forward

It broke my heart, watching that video over & over

My brain told me leave, but my heart said don’t go

But trying to get that love back was like chasing my own shadow

Our love was like a match that burnt so very bright

But after a while yours died out

The smoke you left was toxic and mad

I should of left right when the flame was dead

But silly me tried to re light the fire

To bring back the love that we once desired

Some may say I was selfish for staying, some may say I didn’t try hard enough to re light that flame

At the end of the day I walked away, hoping you’ll find that someone who can keep you burning forever bright.

Staying in a relationship JUST because you love them, is not worth it. Love isn’t all you need.

Happiness

Communication

Effort
