I can’t really describe the feeling I’m having right now. I’m not necessarily disappointed, but it is sort of sad because they could have had everything. But they chose not to, in a sense. I suppose they have each other, but that’s only for about 20 or 30 years. After what they’ve been through, it’s just hard to comprehend.

Plus we have actual confirmation that, in their new universe, there is nothing after death. So they get nothing after they both die.

So no, they don’t get to be with each other forever and ever like they could have. But they are each other’s worlds. And I suppose that will have to be enough. Plus they don’t know any better, but that’s only also means their relationship throughout time never really happened, in a sense. It’s just gone and lead to nothing. Well, it lead to them living human lives and being with each other at South Downs, so they do get to have each other in a sense… it could have been forever though.

Very thankful for the 3+ years I got to have with this serious. Very thankful that I got to meet David two winters ago. So thankful for the fanfics and the fandom in general. Thankful to have known so much love through these two.

Gonna go rewatch heated rivalry now x

The ONLY ending I don’t want for Good Omens is Aziraphale and Crowley becoming human. I’ve seen the whole “Immortals become human” thing done before, and it always feels unsatisfying to me. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve more than a small handful of years of peace and happiness. Crowley deserves to be able to see his nebula grow to full maturity.
