This is cool, I appreciate the tag @everywhichwaymb! I’m not so familiar with Jian, but the grip to this looks kinda long for an historic Jian (the blade also looks kinda wide.)

I’ll assume a majority of you know the difference between Damascus steel and pattern welding to realize that this is the latter, rather than the former as it claims, but I like the design, and the reddening (?) on the blade is pretty cool, although I don’t think either of those is historic for a Jian.

Hilt looks peened, which is good, and the fittings are brass, which is historic, so based off what I can see, I would totally buy this.
